Physical Therapy

Our mission is to provide a personally tailored outpatient rehabilitation program specific to your symptoms, diagnosis, and needs. With a goal of returning you to your pre-injury functional capacity.

Melissa is the Clinic Director of Orthopeadic Team Rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Michigan State University and received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Oakland University in 2006. Since that time she has focused her treatments on orthopaedic care.

Over 30 years’ experience in the Medical Business Administration. Jackie has over 20 years’ experience with Revenue Cycle Management as well as Business Management. 23 years of which is related to Therapy. Jackie is a member of the APTA and MGMA.

Emily received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017 from Oakland University. Prior to that, she attended Rochester College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology in 2013.

Christopher Barnett has practiced 31 years as a physical therapist. Graduated in 1988 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Oakland University. Obtained Master of Health Science in P.T. in 1994 from Krannert School of Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis.

Kelly Reed is a therapist who graduated from Oakland University. Kelly Reed has been practicing for twenty years. Having worked in a variety of settings, Kelly has diverse experience within the field of Physical Therapy with emphasis on Outpatient and Orthopaedic Therapy.

Joe graduated from Wayne State University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Joe has been involved in the rehab field as a tech, trainer, and physical therapist for over 10 years. His experience includes neurologic and orthopedic conditions. When Joe is not treating patients he enjoys hiking, kayaking, and hanging out with his golden retriever, Leo.

When the COVID-19 pandemic began I do not think anyone knew what to expect or how long it would last. I am incredibly proud of how the staff have approached this challenge with strength, flexibility, dedication and compassion to our patient’s health and well-being.

Some patients have asked what precautions we are taking to keep patients and employees safe. You should know we are limiting the number of patients in the gym to allow for proper social distancing. We are following strict cleaning guidelines with Clorox and Cavicide to ensure tables, equipment, etc are as clean and sterile. Employees and patients are encouraged to engage in best hygiene practices with frequent and adequate handwashing and application of hand sanitizer. We have purchased air filter systems to improve air quality and eliminate airborne germs. In addition, any staff member or patient who feels ill must remain at home and their appointments rescheduled.

The health and safety of our patients and staff is very important to us.
