Fantastic experience: PTSMC -WATERBURY is a very welcoming place. The staff is very friendly and professional. The staff ensures that the patient is comfortable and ensurs that the patient's needs are met. Staff works with the patient with their individualized treatment plans so that the patient leaves the PTSMC feeling better and in less pain and able to return their regular exercise routine.

Fantastic experience: I decided to come here for a torn pec. My torn pec wasn't necessarily preventing moving, but after it not healing for over a year and a half, and also not being able to move heavy weights on bench without pain, I finally decided to seek help here. After 4 sessions, sometimes spaced a couple of weeks apart, and doing all the exercises given to me, as well as helpful targeted massages, I am happy to say I was able to decline bench without any pain at all. The first time I was able to move weight in a decline position without pain yesterday, I could have cried. I'm so excited to get into normal heavy lifting but I'm going to give it some more time and make sure it is perfect. I highly recommend this place, everyone is very kind and nobody is ever in any rush to get you out of there. They take their time with every visit and it just shows that they really care. :)

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my mother here since August. Briana and Ahren have been working with her. My mother is not elderly but older and after a fall and now sciatica, she is not ambulatory. They have worked on strengthening her core and keeping her legs limber for the next step in her care. She is now moving, getting up and transferring more on her own. Everytime that we have gone there, she has been greeted by name as we come through door. The therapists and staff here are friendly and compassionate. I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: If you want professional, friendly and caring physical therapy, look no further. PTSMC in Waterbury is by far, in my experience, the most gifted and competent center for physical therapy care in the Waterbury area. I have been to others centers, but this one outshines them all. The best part is that, through listening to your story and feedback, they utilize their competence and experience in an ongoing evaluation of your progress. Certified therapists stay with you all the way and build or modify your regimen, if needed. That way, I am able to say I have always had my issues successfully resolved. I can't thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: I’m a veteran who was sent here by the West Haven Veteran Affairs Hospital for Pt because it’s close to home making it easier on some of my disabilities. Past experiences outside the VA weren’t always bad but some were very disappointing. However, I got lucky this time around! Let me start by saying turning in or out of this place could be crazy due to how busy this area is. There is a small parking lot in front and a bigger parking lot behind the building but I’ll recommend parking in front if you have any disabilities/conditions where stairs might be a problem. The staff here are friendly and helpful. I have gone to therapy before in the past at other facilities but none have helped, I felt as if they really didn’t care or take the time to explain what exactly our main goal and focus is, other times the treatments didn’t help at all and made things worse due to the pace in which they chose. What stands out about this place is that the Physical Therapist understood my condition and worked with me at my current state, gradually increasing and decreasing depending on my body. Even after care, they send you an at-home treatment plan via email.

Fantastic experience: This place has been amazing. They really listen to what you have to say and work to see what's wrong. This is the first time I have actually been tested for something other than lower back pain. And so far it seems like its actually my upper back and shoulder that have been causing the problems, and that's why after 3 years im still not healed. After 2 weeks at this place I walking and moving better than I have in years. Would definitely recommend for anyone, especially if your losing hope you would ever be fix. Fantastic experience: I love Rebecca she is so knowledgeable and do easy to talk to... I was experiencing Vertigo really bad. The day before I went to my ear, nose and throat specialist Rebecaa told me exactly what was wrong. Rebecca performed the Epley maneuver on a Tuesday which fixed my problem and my vertigo was completely gone by Thursday. I had vertigo for a total of nine days, had gone to the ER, seen other specialists. I’m so grateful to her, she is excellent at what she does

Fantastic experience: The staff at the Waterbury office of Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine create a friendly and inviting environment upon my first visit. I found the clerical staff willing to help me in anyway they can while the physical therapists and their assistants made every effort to accommodate my schedule. Their depth of knowledge and the range of exercises I was provided seemed endless. The information I received from my therapist and the way I was shown to properly perform corrective exercises was invaluable. I can’t thank Joanna Fisher enough for the treatment I received and the knowledge I gained which will help me address my injury and deal with it. The strengthening exercises certainly have improved my physical condition. I absolutely feel better after receiving treatment from PTSM. Thank you to the entire staff.

The person who worked with me for my sessions was knowledgeable and empathetic, and above all, focused on my needs. I highly recommend PTSMC Waterbury.

Fantastic experience: I started going to PTSM about 2 months ago. I see Erin who is extremely knowledgeable, patient with me and truly listens to what I am feeling to find the best solution. In the 2 months that I've been seeing Erin I've seen more progress in my neck condition then I did going to a Chiropractor for 2 years!!! Erin takes her time and educates me, I dont feel as though I'm one of 40 patients walking in and out of the office as I felt seeing a chiropractor. She gives me her full attention for 45-50 minutes which is comforting. The staff at the Waterbury location are very friendly, always willing to help and make last minute changes should you need to. The feedback I would give this office from my perspective (I provide a service to my customers daily and my career is all about the customer experience) would be: 1. Reminders of appointments should be automatic. As a patient I dont feel I should have to ask if I can be reminded of my appointment. That's what sets one office apart from another is the customer experience. 2. The office has an open floor plan in a smaller space so you can hear everything. This should put the staff on high alert that everything they say is being heard and most likely judged. 3. This would be icing on the cake and really set them apart if when a new appointment is made with a new patient, understanding the therapist's bio's are on the website, would be going the extra mile if reception gives a brief description of who the patient is seeing for their 1st appointment and a little about them. Versus, this is who you're seeing, go online and read their bio. Overall, I enjoy going there, I truly reccomend Erin and the staff. The place is clean, colorful, vibrant and outgoing. Exactly where you'd rather be during a time of discomfort and pain.
