Fantastic experience: Every staff is so gracious, polite,kind and patient. They have been very attentive and do not rush you through your exercises. If ANY of the staff are not working hands on with someone,then they are cleaning all equipment. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center, Naugatuck is quite exceptional. Here they provide very effective and efficient care that brings you back to your full physical potential in much less time than you thought. I was immediately scheduled for a thorough initial assessment and had brought my Surgeons' recommendations as well as pictures of scans which can sometimes help determine your specific needs. Falling 12 feet onto a wooden deck in May, I sustained significant trauma with a severe multi fractured pelvis which completely severed the sacrum posteriorly, coupled with anterior fractures that disrupted the entire pelvic ring. This de stabilizes all gait and balance, as well as, disturbing the entire frame and parts of the lower body and spine. This type of injury requires a Physical Therapist that is extremely confident and competent. Complicating the rehabilitation further for me were twelve fractured ribs and a displaced fractured shoulder. I was very surprised that my pain was significantly reduced after just one week. Their expertise is revealed in how quickly I see results, such as using a cane less and less. Meghan has been responsible for creating therapy that is continually evolving. My rapid progress, confirmed by intermittent measurements, is based on her strategy of continually modifying exercises. Each session is personally guided but the entire Team is involved and constantly monitoring safety for all. Fantastic experience: I wanted to write this review before I moved on like we all do sometimes because life moves to fast. I wanted to publicly thank Joe and and his team at Physical Therapy And Sports Medicine on Prospect Street in Naugatuck for the rehabilitation they gave me after my total knee replacement. Joe is an intuitive and sports minded therapist and able to determine a care plan based on the whole picture of a patient. As a nurse, I appreciate his high level of patient care. Joe (and his team) treated me as a whole person and not just "a knee". I'd like to thank Bethany for her excellent advice helping me recognize a few key deficits in my gait. Adam, who was able to anticipate my impatience to "finish the workout" and paced my sessions like a coach! Megan, who gave me a thoughtful perspective and guidance on a number of concerns. Deborah, who works with a smile on her face and Rose who only has to smile to add warmth to your day! If I have forgotten anybody I'm sorry, but this was my A Team. Thank you so much for your help. PS: This physical therapy center is also in a cool building that used to be an elementary school back in the day. Joe has a lot of historical things around the office that are worth looking at. I particularly like the picture of the schools around Naugatuck in the evaluation room and the commemorative American flags and where in the world they have flown over.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are awesome. From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave. I’m having PT after left full knee replacement and the results so far are great. The one on one attention really makes a difference. I would highly recommend coming here if you need PT.

Fantastic experience: It was one of the situations that I started to go to physical therapist and my ankle kid got infected and I had to stop. I was really surprised yesterday when I received a call from the receptionist just to ask me how I was doing I called that great customer service everyone there was pleasant help me get my realtor in the car. Did everything for me that I needed. I will definitely highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Rebecca is an excellent physical therapist, her CHT specialty experience was exactly what I needed after my forearm surgery. She is very knowledgeable, personable, and takes the time to listen and explain. In a short time her therapy reduced my recovery pain and improved my ROM. Her encouragement, professionalism and advice are much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I have been going for physical therapy 3 days a week for the last month and a half with all the exceptional people who work here. Each person brings forth their knowledge/wisdom/ expertise/ helpfulness and yes, laughs making the physical therapy experience a more enjoyable atmosphere/experience. Their ability to listen to my concerns and guide me through the healing process has been wonderful. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of physical healing.

Fantastic experience: I went there with a sprain knee from tennis. Place is nice, atmosphere is friendly and what is most important they know what they are doing. It took several weeks of simple exercises and my knee is like new.

Fantastic experience: I have gone to Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine for two different issues in the past 6 months. My experience has been amazing. Everyone is totally professional. The appointments are scheduled so that you are taken in a timely manner. My therapist is Joe and I cannot say enough about him and his skills. My shoulder is bone on bone. X-rays show I am in need of a shoulder replacement but with Joe's help, I have little pain. Currently he is working on my hip and I can't tell you how much better it feels. I will definitely be back if I need it.
