Fantastic experience: I have had great results for my pelvic issues with PHRC, with Tiffany Ai Lan Vo and other PT’s there. The support staff is also very supportive, welcoming and competent in dealing with the insurance maze. Thank you Lisa Topete. I got excellent PT care, support and guidance there and highly recommend PHRC. I went to PHRC after a mountain biking accident and healing of my fractured pelvic bone. The scar tissue buildup was restricting my range of motion and made bike riding painful. After much research, I found PHRC as the only PT clinics in the North Bay providing both strengthening training and manual therapy. I’m completely past my injuries and in a better physical condition than before my fall accident.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend PHRC at Berkeley! When I first began working with Jillian, I was struggling with pain and mobility issues as a distance runner. She was able to empathize with me as a runner and helped build up my strength and flexibility. I'm currently running 30-50 miles a week and am preparing to run my first marathon -- and I could not have done it without her! Thanks Jillian!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Summer Moss and the staff at PHRC are the best people. The check in staff is friendly, warm and easy to talk to, which sets you up with how easy it is to be treated by Dr. Moss. Dr. Moss explains everything very clearly, asks intelligent questions that never assume she knows the whole story before you answer. She is inventive in her solutions and always believes whole-heartedly that healing is possible. By doing the exercises she showed my in the office, along with her follow up emails detailing what we covered, I have been able to run without leaking for the first time in years. She also gave me the spark to actually run again, and it feels GREAT! Thanks Summer!!!

Fantastic experience: I was fortunate enough to receive treatment from Dr. Summer Moss, and I describe the experience as life-changing. As a male-identifying patient, I was initially hesitant about what treatment might entail, but Dr. Moss immediately made me feel comfortable and hopeful. Fantastic experience: My OB-GYN referred me to Pelvic Health & Rehabilitation Center after experiencing debilitating pelvic pain during my menstrual cycle. I feel so grateful and thankful that Summer Moss was assigned as my pelvic floor therapist! She actively and thoughtfully listened to me. It felt like we were working together. Summer always made me feel that my perspective and questions mattered. The exercises that she taught me were so easy to physically do and incorporate into my day. After about a month, I was starting to feel positive results from our therapy sessions. Summer also empowered me to have deeper conversations with my OB-GYN to ensure that I was healing myself to the best of my ability. My pelvic floor therapy sessions have now come to an end, and I have the necessary tools for continued healing. Thank you, Summer, for changing my life for the better!

Fantastic experience: After more than two years with no pain management other than injections, Dr Summer Moss has provided me with techniques that do work. She is a great listener, caring, understanding, and gentle. I am happy I had a chance to be treated at this facility.

Negative experience: Called to schedule a new patient appointment and when I asked about whether my insurance was accepted the receptionist said no and then was extremely rude and dismissive when I said I would prefer to find a practitioner that is fully covered. I would not recommend this center due to the lack of compassion and professionalism of the receptionist. I am sure the actual providers are wonderful but they need to provide some training to their scheduling staff about compassionate and empathetic patient care.

I was seen by Melinda Fontaine and she was super knowledgeable, friendly, explained things thoroughly, a great listener and was very caring which was something I needed after all the things I’ve been through with my vulvodynia. She helped me realize some breakthroughs and gave me a lot of resources to help facilitate my healing journey. I recommend PHRC to anyone with pelvic floor dysfunction.

Fantastic experience: My name is John R. "Randy" Staneck and I would like to thank my Physical Therapist, Jillian Cerda Ramos, for...hhmmm?.... now how should I put this?..."Getting things back to normal" for me!!! Jillian is so professional and knowledgeable, but fun at the same time, which I believe helped with my rehabilitation. She explained the exercises so very clearly that we were able to achieve the desired results ahead of schedule! She is the greatest! Thank you Jillian!!! Fantastic experience: After a prostatectomy, I had constant pain and was completely incontinent. Within a very short time the major problems were under control. Fine tuning took awhile. Everyone who I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Before I went to Pelvic Heath I did even know that I had a pelvic floor now I am in control of it.

Fantastic experience: Marissa is amazing. I was so hesitant to do this work, feeling uncomfortable about pelvic physical therapy, but she put me at ease and made it a comfortable experience. In addition, she has worked very hard to understand the details of my pain and discomfort, and has both educated me and given me many tools for self-care. Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Maryssa, at Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center in Berkeley, for the past six months. She is a great physical therapist. She is very professional, skilled and extremely knowledgeable. She clearly explained my condition, needed therapies and potential lifestyle changes. We start a session clarifying what needs to be worked on and why, and I leave a session understanding what (also why and how) I can do for myself. Communication is a real strength. She is up-beat, positive and very easy to talk to. Pelvic floor therapy can be awkward and embarrassing at times. Maryssa has a great “bedside manner” and has made me feel comfortable from day one. I strongly recommend PHRC, the entire staff is great. And I absolutely couldn’t recommend Maryssa more highly.

Fantastic experience: I visited the Pelvic Health & Rehab Center after my second daughter’s birth resulted in some pelvic floor issues including a mild prolapse. The PT I worked with took great time and care in my assessment, education and treatment plan. I left feeling much better and encouraged that we could work together to remedy my issues I was experiencing. I am grateful for this establishment and their practitioners.

Fantastic experience: Therapist Lis is wonderful. Thoughtful, thorough, just lovely. I think things are getting better. I’ve only been in therapy a month or so so I will report back when it’s been more time. I would recommend this facility and this therapist to anyone. I’ve had some post partum issues and wish I hadn’t waited this long

I didn't think I would stick it out, but the experience has been great and I am making progress, to which I am very thankful. The staff is awesome too. I recommend them to anyone who has a need that they can help with, you will be in great hands and receive great care. Caspers hot dogs is only 4 blocks away, another plus.
