Our comment from PhysioFinder.net about Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, Inc.:

Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, Inc. (BCPT) is known for its individualized and compassionate care, making it a top choice for many in the East Bay area. Patients appreciate that the therapists take the time to understand their unique needs, providing exceptional treatment that focuses on genuine progress rather than numbers. Many have praised specific therapists like Negeene, Leslie, and Hunter for their expertise and dedication, helping clients recover from various conditions effectively.

Despite the high quality of physical therapy offered, some clients have expressed frustration with the communication and scheduling issues at the clinic. Several reviews mentioned difficulties in reaching the front desk, with calls and messages often going unanswered, leading to delays in scheduling appointments. Nevertheless, many still highlight the skill and caring nature of the therapists once treatment begins.

Overall, BCPT aims to be a supportive resource for the community, with a commitment to serving patients who may not have access to other forms of care. While the concerns regarding customer service at the front desk are noted, the overwhelming sentiment remains that the therapists truly care about their patients and deliver top-notch physical therapy services.

Fantastic experience: Negeene and Hunter and the front desk staff are so wonderful. I am grateful for their support pre surgery and post surgery. I started seeing them one month before my ACL surgery and am being treated twice a week now post surgery. I couldn’t ask for a more supportive team.

Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, Inc.

Thank you Silva! we appreciate the positive feed back.

Negative experience: When a Physical Therapist is not wiping down things for a person who is very immunocompromised, you know there is a problem. When they are interviewing you like they are an attorney, a HUGE red flag. When they have no boundaries, take your phone without asking, and video tape you doing exercises, even worse. I won't mention the name, but I never went back. The place was not clean either. Then I received e-mails begging me to write something as their doors might close due to no funding. Something was fishy. Not professional conduct and I am surprised they are still in business. I was so creeped out by the guy, no joke.

Fantastic experience: Berkeley Community Physical Therapy staff went above and beyond to advocate for my family so that we could get the treatment we needed. Having seen many providers for myself and my children, Nageeme is next level. She is thoughtful, very thorough, totally committed to her patient's recovery and sees receiving PT as a human right. She is very knowledgeable, assessed me for a full hour and delivered new and important information in an easy to understand manner. When her schedule is full, I see the PT Assistant and he is also highly knowledgeable and an excellent provider. The care between them is seamless. My son is a competitive soccer player and has been to other clinics for over 3 years. He was working with Scott who is a great option for people who need after hour appointments. Scott taught my son the skills he needed to rehab at home, and what additional tools he could use outside the office. My son completed his authorized sessions then started having a knee flare up from overuse. When I informed Nageeme that he needed more treatment at the end of the week, she worked her magic work on the paperwork to get him additional sessions, and the front office staff went over and beyond with processing his paperwork so that he could continue care. My son was seen quickly and the authorization was approved the following week. What a team effort! I understand why the call volume is high and there may be a wait to get into this clinic. They accept insurance and Medi-Cal. Front office staff is managing and dealing with a lot behind the scenes. The paperwork requirements for Medi-Cal are very involved and tedious for very low reimbursement rates. And insurance doesn't pay for missed appointments so they lose a lot of revenue for no shows. Quite honestly, I don't know how they stay in business. Most practices I've been to offer short follow-up visits, you are in and out like an assembly line. In other clinics, I've had to pay extra for things like deep tissue work, cupping or Graston technique. I feel lucky to have found a team of healers who collaborate with one another, care about their patients and have restored my mobility and are taking care of my family. I'm grateful that the front office staff is willing to do the difficult grunt work needed so that all people who need this level of care can receive it. Thank you BCPT for your dedication and commitment to being for the people. My one suggestion to any reader is give yourself extra time to park. I generally find parking around the block on the street.

Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, Inc.

Jennifer,
Thank you so much for acknowledging all of our hard work. We appreciate you.
We don't knwo ourselves how we are staying in buiness with all the changes in insurances, but we are here to serve the people and will stay in the fight as long as we can. Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: PT Scott and PTA Hunter worked well with me and together to teach me how to address the root causes of my knee pain and related plantar fasciitis sustainably and effectively. The practice is holistic, patient-centered, and NOT an impersonal Big Corporate operation. I felt comfortable getting care here over 5 months, progressed pretty quickly, and found that the pace of adding on new stretches, exercises and tools to heal increased with each visit, but not to the extent where adding to the routine outside of my visits was overwhelming to the point where I didn’t want to do any of it. As a person who has been to multiple PTs over the years for various other injuries, I’d say accomplishing that balance is an art and they do it well here. I have fully recovered from severe, lifestyle-limiting, chronic pain in my knee and foot and I am mostly back to the way I was prior to the injuries at this point two months after my last session. I know I have to keep stretching and strengthening for the rest of my years to maintain this, and stop wearing crappy shoes, which is why I say “mostly” back to the way things were, but it’s really great that Berkeley Community PT was able to help me make these practices an enduring habit. I hope they serve our community for decades more to come. I’m sure this won’t be the last time I need them now that I’ve arrived at middle age

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend BCPT enough if you are looking for individualized care from professionals that know your name, care about you, and care about their craft. BCPT is one of the only PT outfits in the East Bay that is not owned by private equity groups or vertically integrated into an orthopedic practice that only takes new patients from said practice. They also *still take most insurances* - even more than those listed on their website. If you have been looking for a PT, you probably have figured out yourself just how rare that combination is. The therapists are exceptional. I've worked with Leslie and with Hunter. Both are skilled practitioners that take their work seriously and are clearly invested in my progression. They also do not use aides (essentially interns) to conduct 90% of the PT session, as many other practices do. They provide individualized care themselves. That is also very rare in my experience. I have progressed well in my knee rehab under BCPT's care. BCPT's facilities are adequate. They have everything one needs for rehab; they have not shelled out for a sleek new space. They are focused on their work, not hitting performance indicators so some private equity backer can earn a bonus. I can't speak to other peoples' experience with the front desk team, but they have been kind and professional to me in all of our interactions. The staff followed up on my messages when I tried to make a new patient appointment and has communicated with me directly if an appointment needs to be rescheduled. I would recommend BCPT to anyone I know and anyone in the Bay that needs a PT. They want to take care of you; they are not trying to hustle an extra buck out of you. It's what physical therapy - and medicine in general - can and should be.

Negative experience: I would give this business zero Stars if possible was harassed by the front desk clerk of Denise's son who threatened my 3-year-old child who was 1 years old at the time, Denise also use profanity while talking to my grandmother while trying to figure out how I could make my appointment work then had me put down as no show to have me kicked out of physical therapy, I tried to speak to someone in charge about the incident but when I call back to speak with somebody I was met with hostility and no one would even try to hear me out

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: I altered my previous review to five stars. The initial review raised concerns about the front desk clerks. Soon afterwards, the front desk clerk Denise reached out to me, and we had a lengthy discussion regarding my concerns and how she could help resolve them. Each and every concern I had was resolved. This was actually a very kind gesture. I realize that the mission of Berkeley Community Physical Therapy is to provide very effective, quality PT services to many of those who do not have the means to go elsewhere. And, yes! the physical therapists are amazing! I can't believe! that this didn't hit me earlier. I mean, where else am I able to get top notch PT for a broken fibula? Hello! So, of course, the front desk clerks cannot immediately return some of the phone calls. They are overwhelmed with the phone calls, faxes, emails, all requesting appointments to get into the clinic. And, the place is booked solid, sometimes for months. Man, let's just give the clinic some grace. They're good people.

Negative experience: When a "health" "care" team is limited by the team answering the phones, our health isn't actually being cared for. They do not answer phones. They do not call back, over 2 weeks and multiple messages. I get that the holidays... If you're that backed up, you need to hire more people. It's that simple. That you cannot answer the phones promptly, that you gaslight clients and intimate it's not your fault, continously. This is a problem and shows a lack of efficacy. I've called my Healthcare provider, made a complaint, and am making a new appointment, elsewhere. I have no idea how good their team is besides those answering the phone. You can't get past the people answering the phone; they don't do their job.

Negative experience: Beware of this company. I was referred by my insurance which is Alameda Alliance / Medical and I called to make an appnt. I live in Oakland. I was told by the receptionist that that because I live in Oakland and because I have medical I am a high rate for NO SHOW and they will not make an appnt with me. I’m sorry that’s discrimination! I told her that I felt that was discriminatory and I show up for my appnts and could I speak to the manager. The manager called me back after a couple days of my following up. I explained to her that because of my work schedule I needed a PT close to me not the only other one way out in Fremont and that I always make my appnts. She finally agreed and I practically begged her. She went ON AND ON about their very strict cancellation policy. Ok. I get it!. I waited weeks for my first appnt which is tomorrow. She called me just now to tell me the PT was sick and they needed to reschedule. She was spicy on the phone the whole time we were trying to find a day to reschedule and all over the place. We finally decided on a date and I asked ok great is it this hard every week to book out and she said sorry people with your insurance can’t book out because they are high no shows! I got MAD! This is disrespect and discrimination. Turns out you can book out after your first appnt but becuae I called her out on the discrimination she said I’m not welcome to come there. CRAZY. Not normal. She is the manager and refused to tell me her name so I could make a complaint with my insurance. They never wanted me there in the first place and made me feel like a real bother through the whole process. What a shame in our area and in this day and age we have to deal with people like this. Guess what? When people get discriminated against they get mad.

Negative experience: After many months of therapy I was always treated with less care than others I feel because I'm a minority and would get terrible service they would always be late starting and early in making me leave for other people who were not black and my therapist would be on phone calls or interacting with other people instead of helping me I'm a athlete and they are not prepared to help me. They catered to older people and would give my appointment time away to white people and just change my time without my consent and never answer my phone calls. Just terrible service and you wouldn't expect it in Berkeley but I guess it's everywhere when people are not being treated fairly. And the worst thing about it a black lady treated me the worst and nobody cared how she treated customer's SMH ‍♂️ and you would think a office with a person at the desk doing nothing would answer the phone but they never answered the phone and would never call you back in a timely manner just terrible customer service!!!

Negative experience: Tried calling you guys for a month now no answer and no one picks up the phone , i left a bunch of voicemails and never got a call back . Ver bad costumer service ! Update , Just got a call from one of the managers which at first was trying to explain why they don't answer the calls after that she starting nagging about how my insurance company don't pay enough and degrading and said i will be denied service unless i take off the bad review. News flash don't open a business if you can't accommodate the customers, specially ones with medical issue....!!!! If only she was nice and apologies about the inconvenience the matter would have been solved but instead she chooses to be ignorant and be condescending ...

Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, Inc.

Sorry to hear that you did not get a phone call back. We receive hundreds of phone calls a week and do our best to call everyone back.

Thanassi B 2 years ago

Negative experience: My personal experience: They do not answer the phone, neither they return phone calls at a reasonable time. They called my back a week or so later. They claim that they get over 100 calls a day. Is this a way to run a business? At a minimum they should warn callers about the long delays. I took my business elsewhere.

Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, Inc.

I do apologize, but it could take up to 72 hours to return phone calls due to the high volume of calls. Good luck on your PT journey.

Negative experience: Had to take a small break with my sessions due to a personal matter. I have now been attempting to contact the office for almost two months and no response. It does not surprise me from what I experienced with certain members of the staff, but I am disappointed and no longer willing to interact with medical offices that neglect patient care to this degree despite knowing, as a medical professional myself, just how hard it is for medical professionals these days. I would rarely post publicly, but I would like to warn other patients needing care that you could experience serious delays working with the office.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE! I have never in my life been spoken to the way this person that called me back at 1:53pm Aug 2 from the vm I left at 1:01 pm on August 2 2023. They are closed for lunch from 12-1pm. I wasn’t allowed to speak or answer questions. I was not allowed to speak to someone else or a supervisor. When I asked her for the supervisors number she gave me the same number and the name Negeene. The woman refused to give me her name though. She would not help me period. I told her REPEATEDLY I was new here and was trying to get her the information she was asking for. She screamed over me over and over about how I needed a referral from my doctor-the referral I had in hand. She asked me my insurance. I told her (my insurance referred me HERE) when I told her she asked me if it was this type or that type then told me they don’t take it but take EXACTLY MY INSURANCE. I told her over and over I had the referral in hand and I understood if they did not have it yet. Recap-I have the proper insurance. I have the proper referral (already double checked with insurance and my pcp office). She tried to tell me I was getting upset when it was her that was shouting at me over something she refused to comprehend. This woman’s lack of comprehension is not my issue it’s hers. Speaking to me with absolute hate won’t make her be able to comprehend any better. I finally had to say to her stop talking over me so I can answer the questions you keep asking! I made her the promise after she had me in tears to follow this up as far as I could. I already filed a complaint with the insurance company. I will be going right on up that chain as well as filing a complaint with the state. I won’t forget her voice. You do not speak to people like this in the medical field. You have no clue what someone is going through. NONE. Quit this job lady. This is not your calling that is for sure. Oh when I told her it was illegal OVER AND OVER is when she gave me the same office number and the name Negeene. It’s like people think you aren’t going to ever be there in person when they do this. Wow. **Edited to add** After reading the reviews here and on yelp I see this is a VERY common issue. I wonder if Denise is still working here. Sounds like she is the person I spoke with. Whoever she is needs out of there and to do a job that is absolutely not in healthcare and doesn’t require speaking with people. Miserable human**

Fantastic experience: Negeene is the best physical therapist I've been to, hands down. I saw her a few months ago with lower back pain. Not only could she explain the cause very clearly, the exercises she worked me through gave me quick relief, and I'm no longer experiencing any pain. Not only does she provide exemplary care as a therapist, her practice is a cornerstone of the larger Berkeley community. I am thankful to have such a skilled and compassionate physical therapist available to me, and I am grateful to have Berkeley Community Physical Therapy as part of my community. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I came to Negeene with a long-standing, chronic sports-related hip and back injury. Within the first 5 minutes of our first visit, she'd diagnosed my issue and was designing a stretching and exercise regimen to address the underlying weaknesses and ensure I could recover and get back to pursuing the activities I love. Honestly, I'd given up the idea of "full recovery" and was expecting to live in pain for the rest of my life. Not only am I now pain-free, but I'm back in the gym lifting heavier than ever before! All this in four visits!! I am eternally grateful to Negeene for her care and expertise!

Fantastic experience: This review is for Allan Horwitz. (UPDATE: he has recently left this practice--see further in my review for how to find him). The man is a physical therapy genius. He is also exceedingly kind, funny and pleasant to work with. I had a shoulder injury from swimming some 8 years ago (in a different state). I've lost count of how many PTs I've seen over the years—not a single one could get me to the point of full recovery until I saw Allan. With Allan I am 95% of the way there. It is nothing short of a miracle—when I started to see him the injury had been aggravated again and I couldn't even put on a jacket or t-shirt without experiencing a lot of shoulder pain. After working with Allan for a few months I am pain-free and have gained a ton of strength and flexibility. He is confident I can return to swimming and this is the first time in 8 years that I too believe this is absolutely possible, given this incredible recovery I've made, thanks to Allan. He has also helped me with an old whip-lash neck injury. IMP UPDATE: Very recently Allan left Berkeley Physical Therapy and is now in private practice. I have continued to see him privately. To find him just google Allan Horwitz Physical Therapy Berkeley and his private ergonomics consulting site will pop up. You can use that site to contact him.

Fantastic experience: I first went to this clinic some years ago when I tore my meniscus. The care I received was fantastic. Since then, I have brought my son and my spouse to this clinic. The receptionists are always welcoming and helpful. I feel so lucky to know that this clinic is there for me and my family when we have overdone it in some way or had a fall! If you are in need of PT, definitely go to Berkeley Community Physical Therapy for the best treatment.

Negative experience: ***WARNING WARNING WARNING*** The receptionists are so RUDE, CONDESCENDING and DISRESPECTFUL!!!!! I’m so shocked after reading all the reviews on Yelp about people having the same experience as me that they haven’t done anything about that yet!!! I tried making an appointment for my husband and this was our experience from just one call!!! Definitely dodged a bullet on this one. I wouldn’t even refer this place to my worst enemy

Negative experience: It’s worth noting first that Allen is a wonderful physical therapist. I haven’t been able to schedule an appointment for months. I’ve left numerous unanswered voicemails and called dozens of times. I finally got a phone call back today from Michael (?) who was rude and condescending. I explained that I was frustrated, that I hadn’t been able to get through for weeks, that I was in pain and I wanted reassurance that I would get a follow-up. He rudely told me if I followed certain steps that I would receive a phone call and “as you can see we get back to our messages,”. Despite insisting that I had not been able to get through, he was unable to reassure me that I would be able to schedule, he showed no flexibility or willingness to help. I won’t be back, unfortunately, as my health can’t afford the wait.

Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, Inc.

Hello Siobhan,I am sorry you had that experience here at Berkeley CPT. We try to get back to all messages within 48 hours. We have a VERY high call volume and do the best we can returning all calls. I am unsure of who you spoke with, but we do not have a Michael here in our office. Again we apologize and wish you luck on your PT journey.D

Marwan Abbas 3 years ago

Negative experience: My brother and his wife had a bad experience today when a woman (I wish had her name) at the reception desk treated him and his wife rudely and racially. They both had an appointment; a female therapist was assigned to my brother and a male therapist to my sister in law which she told the desk woman that she would prefer a female therapist for her instead of a male. The reception desk woman could've switched the therapists between them, but she refused the wife request harshly and denied it, so they had to cancel both of their appointments. She told them they won't be offered service at their place. This woman shall get some manners on how to treat customers.

Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, Inc.

Dear Mr. Abbas , my name is Negeene Mosaed, PT and Owner. I am both a practicing Muslim and middle eastern. The problem arises because we are a clinic which accept Medical(government assistance) insurance due to the very low margin of profit, when you schedule an appointment you must be responsible to show up because we have to pay the clinician for your visit when you cancel and or NO show an appoint at the last minute we cannot recover the loss there you must make all your request known at the time of scheduling. The receptionist gave the first available appointment as your brother requested, therefore, you cannot come back if you cancel your appoint. I pay that therapist more than you realize for that hour, when they could have been seeing someone else who also needs treatment.Secondly, as a devote and practicing Muslim I frequently see male surgeons and or other specialists, if I have to get help. This problem arises when when we only have one female in the office for evaluations, there are more male physical therapist then female.Ii am sorry but please make your needs known at the time of scheduling.

Adriana Sanchez 3 years ago

Negative experience: I was there the day Marwan Abbas' brother and sister-in-law were there. I witnessed the entire thing and what I saw was blatant religious discrimination and islamophobia. The front desk was told that a religious exception needed to be made for his sister-in-law and they completely ignored it. Stating it was against policy to change physical therapist last minute. Completely ignoring religious exemption. There was a language barrier and the front desk clerk took complete advantage of it and blamed them for not understanding that the physical therapist was a man when they made the appointment. The front desk clerk treated them like second class citizens. I have extreme social anxiety and don't do well with confrontation, which is the only reason I didn't speak up. I went home regretting it and came on to see there was a review I could back up. I'm sorry I didn't speak up. What happened to your brother and sister-in-law was complete discrimination and I am deeply sorry that I didn't stand up for them.

Positive experience: It’s true! They never answer their phone unfortunately. I loved my experience of physical therapy once I made my appointments and just had to show up, but they clearly need to hire another person to answer the phone. Fantastic experience: I had been struggling with lower back problems and sciatica for almost two years. My first iteration of physical therapy at another facility was horrible, it only exacerbated my pain. PTs just assumed I was having leg issues and never considered my issue was rooted in my back. Negeene Mosaed was the first PT who took the time necessary to observe my walking, how I was sitting, standing, and sleeping. From the very first meeting she showed me a stretch that soothed my years long sciatica pain, and with each appointment she showed me something new that truly got my body back into shape. She showed me how to do all the things needed to end my chronic pain. I almost want to call her magic, but she just knows her stuff and she's a fantastic PT. If I ever need PT again, I'm only going to her. Thank you so much! Everyone give this place a chance. Don't listen to these negative reviews. I am living and walking proof that the PTs here know what they are doing.

Fantastic experience: I have been a weekly PT patient of Negeene Mosaed for six years. She is an extraordinary physical therapist and a widely respected member of the Berkeley community. As owner of the clinic, she has attracted wonderfully able and dedicated staff and therapists. I had major back surgery with decompression and fusion of my lumbar spine in 2009. Negeene’s yoga-based physical therapy has made it possible for me to enjoy an active, mobile life. I am 77 and going strong. Negeene and her team are the best.

Fantastic experience: I am a dancer and the health of my knees is everything to me. I worked with Stewart Lee at Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, and spent 8 sessions learning how to improve my condition which was hindering my movement. I am grateful to Stewart for his depth of knowledge, care and commitment to my healing. You are the BEST, Stewart!!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Negeene Mosaed since 2016. I have a permanent physical disability (cerebral palsy), which is different and more complex to treat than conditions most physical therapists are confronted with. Working with me requires a lot of commitment, competence, patience and love— qualities which Negeene has provided abundantly over the years I’ve known her. Reading the negative comments on this site— with their complaints about problems getting appointments or unreturned calls— seem unfair, as most were written years before Negeene took over the practice in June, 2019. They are unrepresentative of the experiences of the great majority of Berkeley Community Physical Therapy’s patients, and create an unneeded additional obstacle to the survival of one of this city's key resources. These are good people who are performing an essential service to many east bay residents. We need to support them.

Thank so much for your kind words. We appreciate our patients.

Fantastic experience: A few days ago, I was blessed to be treated by Scott Smith, who has an exceptional ability to quickly diagnose, offer practical advice about and professionally address my physical therapy needs. However, ALL of the therapists at Berkeley Community Physical Therapy (BCPT) are just as adept, including Hunter, Lesley and Negeene, the owner of this community-centered clinic, which specializes in treating the WHOLE person. Indeed, I never leave without feeling spiritually and mentally uplifted, not only because the therapists recognize the interconnectedness of health, but also because their attitude and the clinic's environment are so positive. So do yourself, your family, friends, coworkers and neighbors a favor -- get your physical therapy needs treated by BCPT, a clinic that supports our community, and particularly the most needy.

Fantastic experience: I had back problems and this was my first PT experience at Berkeley Community Physical Therapy. The therapist assigned to me was Jose. I have been delighted with him and the results he has achieved with me. He listened very carefully, then tested and documented my back issues thoroughly. Then, with massage and an ever-changing array of exercises that he taught me and that I practice at home, the pain in my back has lessened weekly, my range of motion and stamina has increased and I am beginning to feel more normal. Jose is thoughtful, encouraging and a good person to be around. He is very knowledgeable and is an experienced therapist. I highly recommend Jose.

Negative experience: No one ever answers the phone and I haven't even been able to get a call back. I have been referred here by my primary physician but I might ask if she can find another place. Very sad that people can't get the help they need

Berkeley Community Physical Therapy, Inc.

Sorry about this. We are trying to answer all calls and call back. but because of Covid we are short Front Desk Staff. We will be hiring a person just to do phones next week

Positive experience: I beg to differ with the negative reviews I see here. True, the office can be hard to get in touch with. When I was having physical therapy, I sometimes resorted to walking over and talking to them in person. Allan Horwitz who specializes in rehabilitating shoulders, is the best physical therapist I have every used. I had ruined my left shoulder falling off my bike, and had torn my right rotator cuff. After several visits with Allan, my right shoulder has healed completely from my surgery, and I no longer need a reverse shoulder replacement of my left shoulder.

Fantastic experience: Berkeley Community Therapy is one of the best places I've gone to. Great customer service and awesome therapists.

Negative experience: They never called me after I was referred to them. They don’t return phone messages. They put people on the no schedule list and don’t let them know.

Negative experience: Unprofessional location do not try to get PT here, other reviews are correct that they do not reliably answer the phone. After getting paperwork started with them they stopped answering my calls. When I finally got to someone I inquired why they don't answer calls. I was bruskly told to leave a voicemail. I've left them voicemails many times and they have never returned or taken record of any of my calls. They recently told my insurer that they have not heard from me, I must have called and left voicemails 20 times in two weeks. After finally getting in touch with Berkeley PT after weeks of back and forth, they suddenly tell me that I wont be able to be seen for two months, big waste of time. Avoid this location, they are not in a position to take new patients but wont say this outright. Understaffed, uncaring, insensitive to the importance of physical therapy. Zero Stars.

Negative experience: Terrible! I called to make an appointment and the person who answered immediately had a negative attitude. Even the way she said “hello” was disrespectful and rude. It got worse after that. I was just trying to understand how my authorized referral worked and she was combative and argumentative—the opposite of helpful. I called a different place and was able to schedule an appointment with no problem. So glad there are better options. I will never consider going to this place just based on that experience.

Fantastic experience: Didn't have any trouble getting through and getting an appointment. Never had to wait past an appointment time. The therapist has been professional, helpful, and thoughtful. She listened to my complex experience of my pain, diagnosed using measurement tools, her knowledge of muscle systems, and my explanation, and has delivered treatment with compassion and dedication.

Fantastic experience: I had a great P.T. here, who was extremely knowledgeable and worked with me to heal and strengthen from a spine fracture. Ive seen many P.T.s in my life, and she was the best of them all. It is hard to get through on the phone, but worth the effort. If you're looking for a glitzy experience and spa-like atmosphere, look elsewhere. ....

Negative experience: The staff here are disorganized, aloof, and self involved. The physical therapists are mediocre. The building is cumbersome and dingy.

Negative experience: the physical therapist almost killed me. treated me for lower back pain. was aware of my neck injury, she literally took her hand and shoved my neck down. saying "you need to engage your neck" that evening I was in so much pain. I called them back to talk to the therapist to see what I could do to get a little bit of relief, she was never available. I went to the emergency room the first thing in the morning where i was injected with percocet and metaxalone in thigh. I called the office to tell them of my experience they didn't seem to care, at all.

Fantastic experience: I guess I was lucky getting through on the phone. For 2 separate occasions with 2 different therapists I've received treatment and both times with great results.
