Fantastic experience: It's only natural why many hospitals get bad reviews. Patients are generally in bad mood because they are sick and when things don't go the way they prefer, they are quick to pick up the phone and type how disappointed they were. I have visited hospitals in many different occassions, as a patient and guardian/family. The staff in the ER and ICU were second to none. From the initial check in area to ICU unit, they were exceptionally professional and showed much hospitality towards the patients and their families. There are exceptions to everything and of course, there was one staff member that made me wonder how she became a RN. Other than that one staff member, everyone else I dealt with were top notch nurses and doctors. Henry, who was given a difficult task of taking care of my 75 year old father, who went through a rough surgery. If all medical staffs were as professional and sincere as these folks, the trip to hispital will be much more pleasant and I guarantee it.

Fantastic experience: The wait felt like forever. Wasn't crazy about the guy in admitting but my son's nurse was great. Loved the Doctor. Xray tech was great.

Fantastic experience: For patient where ever how nice and big hospital you are. Best service more important . My sister stay at ICU, they did great job take care of patient , concern everything you need. Make you feel like stay at home !

Fantastic experience: I was admitted into the hospital for a half day in order to have a liver biopsy procedure. I was treated so nicely by everyone there and the food was good. The Physician's Assistant who performed the biopsy was funny, kind and very good at his job. He explained everything he would be doing, all the risks involved and then gave me the choice whether I wanted to continue or not. He even asked me if I wanted prayer, which I did. He said a beautiful prayer and then we proceeded with the biopsy. His nurse who was equally as wonderful, put her arms around me and held my hand through the whole thing. I can't say enough about my wonderful experience with my kind, compassionate and caring staff.

Fantastic experience: I brought my 3 year old son in to the ER, he was sick and was breathing abnormally. The ER crew seen him within 15 minutes. And helped me so much with him. While we were waiting for a breathing treatment he started going pale in the face and I rushed him over to the doctor who started working on him right away with other nurses. He was given different tests and breathing treatments right away and had an IV put in They took us upstairs in the pediatrics level right away, and the Nurses were amazing! Thank you Nurse Toni for everything. You made our 4 day stay so much better, and you were so attentive. So was Frances and Alma. Our pediatric DR. TOUNG (I think that's how you spell it) was amazing and cared so much for my son, and didn't allow him to leave til she was 100% sure! Thank you to the respiratory team here at queen of the valley, you basically saved my son!

Fantastic experience: I gave birth there and it was a wild ride. That was 17 years ago this October. My daughter is healthy happy wise and beautiful. I give Queen of the Valley 2 thumbs up.

Fantastic experience: On October 8th , 2021, I was brought to the E.R to the Queen of the Valley hospital.. after being examined by Doctors I was admitted for Back Surgery. It was performed on Oct.10th and from that moment it has been a life changing experience for me,, I realized that listening to these Doctor's and nurses has made me find myself and by getting educated to know my body, my health and my well-being.. After surgery I was admitted to the 4th floor in the physical Rehabilitation / Therepy for recovery department with Dr. Lindberg a top notch doctor at Queen of the Valley hospital..I got to know several nurses that were in charge of my stay there.. Miyuki , Olympia , Chester & Carla jus to name a few.. Very special nurses that were taking care of me while I was there.. Chester & Carla never missed a beat when it came to pain management and medications..They always brought me snacks ( pudding ) when i requested one ..Always going beyond their duties jus for me. Miyuki and Olympia were in charge of my discharge on Oct. 24 2021..Miyuki is very special in regards to being the best of the best in my eyes of all nurses. Showed me how important my health really is. And then there is the sweetest nurse of all, named Olympia ( honey bunches of oats) her fav. cereal. Simply a joyful to uplift your spirits and put a smile on you. Can't get enough of this team of nurses that made my stay as if I was on vacation , I have to say these nurses are unmatched in their professionalism and work ethics. I will always remember them by visiting them with sweet goodies to show how much I appreciate this fabulous crew of nurses .

Fantastic experience: The staff was kind and the ER docs helped my mom when she needed emergency care. She never had to wait too long and always felt better after her visits. If you have a loved one who you take care of, keep a foldable rollator walker in your trunk. Instant Walker/chair. The seating is limited in the ER.

Fantastic experience: My grandma Ms. GAO was discharged yesterday. She said the doctors and and nurses are very nice. Their services are very good too. She told me to give a good rating to them. Our family appreciate what they have done to my grandma.

Fantastic experience: My husband had surgery a port placement in imaging. His nurse was Randy. Randy was so wonderful explained everything to us that was going to take place. He made sure he had my phone number so he could keep me updated. He was just spot on about everything. I even said Randy do you treat everybody like royalty. Thank you nurse Randy

Fantastic experience: Had to come to the e.r for a high fever. The staff was very attentive and caring. I had to be admitted and the wait for a bed was long but that is not the staffs fault. Once i was in a room the nursing team on that floor were super attentive, supportive and kind. Everything was on time and on point. If i needed help they were there quickly. They have such a high volume of people to attend to and some aren't very nice to the staff that is doing their absolute best, yet the remain patient and professional. Thank you to the staff here you are wonderful.

Fantastic experience: They saved my Dad's Life from Covid. Was Hospitalized last year and almost intubated. He was also in and out of the hospital for many health issues and always treated nicely by Dr's and Nurses! Thank you all very much!

Fantastic experience: Sadly on July 6,2022 I came here because my uncle was dying & Leslie A who worked in the e.r that day has a heart of GOLD! She was so caring and honestly I would never forget it thank you for being with us on our difficult time & never leaving our side. May God bless you & always always keep you safe! When it was time to pull the machine plug Leslie A & Alexander prayed with us &, was so caring. Honestly thank you from the Rocha family it's something we would never forget....

Fantastic experience: Although my visit happened a year ago , the staff within the emergency room, during the night shift .Since I went to a this place on a friday night. Did a great job in my experience. The nurses and doctors, as well as other health care providers prior , to me getting set in a room to get treated. Acted promptly and professionally to my medicals needs.such as soon as I walked in , complaining of pain. The security guard took my vitals. The MRI technician, as well as x-ray technician. Acted promptly and where professional.Before and after taking their scans. As well as the technicians, that walked me to the MRI and x-ray ,from the emergency room and back. The E.R Physicians assistant that was assigned to my treatment was very thorough in her assessment. She explained what type of medication I was receiving .When I asked her what I was being given so that I understood what was going on and how I was being treated. She also asked if I felt that I was having a bad reaction , after asking about what kind of medication they had given me.while I was waiting out in the waiting room, for my MRI and x-ray results. Which she answered again, since I couldn't remember what they gave me and was just curious. Once the treatment was done , I was out of there.Its definitely a place where the emergency room staff did their job properly and correctly, at taking care of patients when their having medical emergencies.however, that was just my experience as a patient. So it might be different for someone else,Since it is an online review.

Fantastic experience: I need to thank all the doctor's & nurses who cared for me these last few days on the 5th floor!! They were the BEST!! I APPRECIATE DR. DODOO U ROCK!! Fantastic experience: I recently had surgery and had to stay for five days to recover. I met some of the most outstanding nurses during this. But one in particular just made my stay amazing. Darren P was my nurse for three shifts and he was my discharge nurse. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else. I hope that if anyone has to stay here, they get him as their nurse.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday at around 2AM I visited the ER due to chest and stomach pain.Hospital was was extremely busy. I was seen within 5 minutes from arriving. I was scared, tired, and uneasy. The Dr. on duty (I don’t recall his name) he was amazing. Watching him in action was incredible to see. His professionalism during a busy ER with the pandemic going on he kept his cool and ran that floor like a champ. Nurses on the floor were also amazing. After getting an ultrasound and a MRI from two other incredible staff who were also very very attentive. I was soon told I needed surgery. Within a few hours there I was getting my gallbladder removed. I was sent to the 4th floor. The moment I was wheeled into the floor I was greeted by desk staff, they said “Welcome” with smiles. I was wheeled into my room by another staff who talked to me all the way there. She probably sensed I was nervous. The nurse assigned to me was Alice. Thank you Alice for your help! As many times as I called for help you came right away always with a smile and waited patiently for me. I was sent to surgery room by Steven. Also, an amazing soul. Talked to me all the way to the surgery room as well. Kevin (I think that was his name) was very kind. Both funny and truly calmed me when I was in the middle of my storm. Dr. Edillon was amazing. Explained my surgery process and most importantly made me feel safe. All I can say is I felt like a celebrity. My experience at the hospital was magical !! Yes magical!! Can you imagine anyone saying this about a hospital? Thank you for the entire staff for taking care of me I can’t express how thankful I am for you all!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place! We had our baby girl here and the staff like the nurses Shuree, Sharon, Kim, and all the others were amazing! The doctors Barajas and Kassar were also amazing! I love this place! Always asking if we needed something and providing us with everything we asked for and more. Thank you to everyone there!!!

Fantastic experience: The outpatient physical therapy department was top notch! Everyone was so nice and professional. They were constantly sanitizing the equipment after each use and were mainting social distancing during the height of Covid19. Thanks So Much Floyd and all of your Physical Therapist Team!

Fantastic experience: Just had my gallbladder removed here by Dr. Baron . The procedure went smoothly and I couldn’t be happier with my experience at queen of the valley. Nurse Yanet and nurse Lori who took care of me were great and attentive. I really liked how easy it was to get into touch with someone if I needed help with anything like pain management or going to the bathroom. I would highly recommend queen of the valley to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible. I had a severe, allergic reaction to a medication and the staff was extremely quick and knowledgeable. CT scan and MRI’s were quickly done, as well as treatment through an IV. All the staff from the nurses to doctors were caring and thorough. Will never forget how great the experience was. Was also discharged fairly quickly. Stunned.

Fantastic experience: The Dr who operated on me, Dr Ahmed , I'm grateful and thankful more than words .The nurses are great, But there is always a bad apple in the basket, We all make mistakes. Just in a Hospital truly focus: Life and Death Is In there hands?

Fantastic experience: My sister gave birth recently here. We were assigned Elizabeth Hanke as our RN for the evening. She was so kind and made us feel like we were all family. You can tell she wanted to make my sister (her first birth) feel comfortable, and that she did. I saw some of the other RN’s walking around and none seemed friendly. Thank you for everything Liz! We will be contacting supervisor(s) and make them aware of your effort.

Fantastic experience: I had total hip replacement surgery here and was discharged the next day. All the staff in this hospital were amazing to me. All the nurses are so kind and caring. I received excellent care here.

Fantastic experience: This hospital has been such a blessing. It is the closest to my place, the doctors and nurses are reliable and efficient. (You just have to learn how to be nice as patients-don't be so demanding) I had surgery in August and was well taken cared of by the staff. I especially want to shout out my recovery nurse Minene G. who was so attentive to my needs. I felt her sincerity and motherly care while I was in the RR. Though groggy from anesthesia, I knew that she was doing all her best to care for me when I couldn't be with family during these COVID times, post surgery. She even called my husband to let him know that I was doing well. Exceptional care. I am grateful to the wonderful doctors, nurses, technicians in the hospital. They have all been so comforting.

Fantastic experience: I'm very perplexed on why this hospital has such horrible ratings! I had back surgery and had the most peaceful, comfortable, and pleasant experience! Every single staff member that helped me was absolutely wonderful. I was asked how I was doing constantly, how my pain level was and if there was anything I needed. My room was clean, well lit and stocked. I really appreciated everything that was done for me!

Fantastic experience: No heroes work here just angels I was. There for 12days from emergency room to the MRI room to x-ray and to the ultrasound room and on the doctors and surgeons but a big thank you to all the nurse's and volunteers on the 5th floor and even the cleaning crew were so nice and caring a couple days I forgot I had my foot amputated thank you so much all you guys well be in my prayers. Fantastic experience: This is one of the best hospitals I have ever been admitted into due to an emergency I had 10 years ago and a recent one just last week. I suffered a couple facial fractures, a brain hemorhage and a busted open eye due to a skating accident and everyone from the doctors to the radiologist, to the nurses and caretakers treated with me with care and concern and in a very friendly manner. I was particularly happy with a 35 year old Asian nurses aid named Kate. She was kind, friendly, funny...the best. This Hospital deserves no less than a 5 start rating both times I''ve been admitted.

Fantastic experience: I'm forever thankful to the staff wonderful campassionate nurses great attentive doctors and the professional staff at the queen of the valley hospital. Thank you to my kids and my sweet boyfriend Julio who cared for my kids and stood by us in this very scary day. I was brought by ambulance almost dead I was taken care of right away they brought me back to life and I'm feeling much better. Thanks to quick response to 911 operators and paramedics who arrived at my place so quick. I will never forget this experience and mostly Analyn and the other great nurses who cared for me thank you all.❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

My wife fiance and I recieved excellent and compassionate care through the whole delivery process. Words cannot begin to express our gratitude. Shout-out to our nurse Anna who helped delver our baby. Fantastic experience: I commend the nursing staff on the second floor of the hospital for their level of professionalism and genuine compassion, in fact all the employees I came in contact with were extremely pleasant , helpfull and sincere, I especially want to thank Esteban, Tiffany and Cheryl for going that extra mile to make sure I was taken care of properly with dignity and respect. Fantastic experience: My twin daughters were born 3 1/2 months early and endured various complications including brain damage and PDA ligations. This NICU saved their precious lives! Amazing Doctors, Specialists, ESPECIALLY NURSES!! Love you all! Thank God for you all, your determination, amazing minds and warm hearts!

Fantastic experience: Took my 3yr old son in because he got the stomach bug and was dehydrated they kept him for 2days the staff in the pediatricians deportment was awesome they tried so hard to make my lilguy feel at home the even gave him some toy's to keep along with a few books and colors and coloring books while he was there and would try singing and dancing while they would check on him so he would be scared, at the end when he was getting discharged they gave him a get better and stay healthy bag with a nice card signed by all his nurse and doctors and a few more toys. I love that they tried to take care of him so he wouldn't be scared. Thank you so much to the staff for helping my lilguy

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, I came from another hospital even if I arrived crying with a very severe abdominal pain on the left side, all my shoulder, neck, head, my right arm, wait for 1 hour and a half and they never called me, so in my desperation I took the decision to go to the Queen of the Valley hospital, even though there were many patients attended me immediately. The doctor and the nurses are very kind.

Fantastic experience: Came here for an emergency apendicitis for my 18 year old son and from the very first moment until today everybody was so polite and professional that make you feel really good even though being in the hospital is not really a Pleasant experience. My son is on the 4th floor and everybody does an excellent job I'm glad to be in this Hospital

Fantastic experience: Came in on New Years Day, and the staff was very polite and courteous. Despite being busy, my girlfriend and I were in and out in about 2 hours. Compare that to waiting for 6 hours at Kaiser.

Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised by this small, older hospital. To be honest, when my insurance sent me here for a CT scan I was expecting it to be awful. While not state of the art in terms of architecture (I have no idea as far as the hospital equipment), what won me over were the EXCELLENT STAFF. The young lady, Kimberely, who does the booking for imaging services was great. She called me back promptly after helping sort out my referral and even knew my name when I came for my appointment a few days later. She unhurriedly walked me over to the CT department and back and was a really exemplary representative for the hospital. Several other people I dealt with, including Josie for my intake made me feel welcome and important. Hospitals can be a very unpleasant experience for many reasons, what makes all the difference is to have kind, patient staff to ease the experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital or to visit again. More hospitals should conduct their "business" this way.

Fantastic experience: Daughter came in with a severe dog bite to the face,, staff was extremely helpful and efficient. Plastic surgeon and e.r staff did a great job. The nurses and auxiliary staff on the 6th floor made my daughter's stay very comfortable. I really Apreciate their hard work and compassion. Words can't express our gratitude. Fantastic experience: This was the best hospital I have ever stayed at. It is very clean. Great customer service. I had surgery on my cervical spine. The nurses were so attentive, courteous, and helpful. I stayed there from 7/11/18 and released 7/13/18 . I stayed on the 5th floor. My nurses were there for my every need. The volunteers were so nice and took care of anything i asked for face and with a smile on there face. My physical therapist, a male was so great I wish I had him for my regular physical therapy. The for of nursing Fatima came around to check to make sure the patients were being given the best service, and we were. I say that because the lady in the room with me daughter said this was the best experience she ever had at a hospital with her mom and she is at the hospital with her mom alot at different hospitals. Then I received a call from Fatima the next day after I was released. I t made me feel so goid to know they really care about there patients. Phenomenal customer service. Best hospital i have ever been too

Fantastic experience: This review is for the NICU: My baby was transferred to this hospital about an hour after he was born. He stood here for 10 long weeks. The nurses and respiratory therapists are awesome at what they do. Michael Smith, Stacy in the day shift, Huang Lu, and Juan are all great respiratory therapists. The nurses Laura, Vicky G, Lilybeth, Gremlyn, Lauren and a whole lot of other that i cant think of right now. Seriously they all made this very scary situation somewhat easier with their knowledge, care and comfort. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to have their baby here just to be on the safe side because the NICU IS GREAT!
