Fantastic experience: They really take care of you here and they care about there patients. The doctors are very knowledgeable and if they think it's something very important then they will refer you to the ER and even escort you there if they're not too busy. Great job. I would refer this hospital to all of my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Everything has gone super smooth since I started going here. (other U. of U. clinics aren't as consistent) Dr. Owen and his staff have been very kind and even more helpful with my medical conditions. He is very prompt in communicating through MyChart, even responding on the weekends and holidays. Have nothing but compliments for the man.

Fantastic experience: Awesome Moran, Derm, Family and Most Peds Doctor. Awesome Pharmacy too. And about billing I've never had an issue with them. To correct a previous post. I pay my bill online just fine. I have paid over the phone. I have paid at the kiosk computer I have paid at the front desk. If you need any billing issue worked out calling them is hassle free and very quick to speak to someone.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is incredibly friendly! I had a load of things to do for my new job between labs and a physical and x rays and more. I was able to get it all done here, quickly and with hardly any wait. Clean, modern facility. Super impressed.

Fantastic experience: This place rocks. I needed to get lab work done and meet with a doc, and was worried it was going to take up my whole morning. The moment I walked in there are two greeters ready to immediately answer my questions about where to go. Lab check in was fast, wait was fairly short (about 5 minutes). Then on to the automated kiosks for a super fast check in and another very short wait. Bottom line? Clean, simple, easy, fast. Two needs taken care of on a Friday morning in just under an hour. Love this place!

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 daughters for their annual well child exam and they were very thorough and provided great care and help to my daughters. They were attentive to my wants and needs. It's extremely clean and beautifully built. I was very impressed and highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: It was great but some guy named Phil asked me to name the devil while I was here with ligma (I am feeling much better now ) and when I did, he buried me in the ground without even taking me outside! It was wiggity wack, not gonna lie.

The staff is helpful, well educated, empowered to resolve issues, and gracious to patients. The providers are professional, and all I've had the pleasure to meet, are kind, patient, and pleasant. I highly recommend this facility, along with the main hospital for any type of medical need.

Fantastic experience: I came to the Occupational Health Dept for a work injury, from a Concentra Clinic. I am in awe that the medical care is so much better! I get into appts immediately, the Dr & staff are happy and love their jobs, they show real concern for your injury, provide substantially higher level of care, and are organized. I got to select my Physical Therapist near me, and I am improving within just a week! Pain has reduced substantially, and I am very happy with the multiple types of treatment I am getting from the PT. I see light at the end of the tunnel and I'm so happy to receive medical care here.

Fantastic experience: Loved my experience visiting Kirsti, NP at the Women’s Health Clinic for my pregnancy visits! She’s been so gentle, social, and sweet during every visit. She truly listens to you and recommends things to do for your pregnancy symptoms. She works closely with Dr. Harker at the Madsen location. They also have you register for the MyChart app that comes in so handy for communication with the NP, Obstetrician, front staff, etc. the app helps get schedules, lab results, documents for work, and more. I was amazed by this since most places do it old school and they either call you or you have to go in. Truly an amazing place if you are pregnant and want to establish care through your pregnancy! Unfortunately I am moving to a different state and have to establish new care.

Fantastic experience: I have been to the hospital 3 times in the past month. Once to the ER for the initial kidney stone, two weeks later for a CT scan, and then returned for the removal of the stone. In all three instances, the medical and support staff was outstanding. Not one person was "going through the motions", but each was the pinnacle of kindness, courtesy, and professionalism. I am grateful to the folks at U of U medical!

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Gimbel in the Obgyn department and she was AMAZING. She was extremely thorough, kind, and exceptional at providing patient education. She had a gentle touch and made me feel very comfortable. On top of that, she went above and beyond by answering questions that I thought would be uncomfortable, but rather she made me feel valid. My experience with Dr. Gimbel was so easy. I’ll definitely be recommending her to all of my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Kristine Smith here recently for chronic sinus problems. I very much appreciated that she was understanding about my unusual sensory problems. What I believed was a chronic sinus infection was some other kind of chronic sinus problem, with no infection at all, that looked concerning because of GERD problems I didn't realize I was having (I have poor sensory input and can't always feel typical pain, so I didn't realize my throat was very irritated and bleeding). I appreciated that she took the time to explain things carefully, get my input, warn me about a painful procedure and see if I needed breaks. When she gave me a referral, she had explained everything so well and kindly that I understood what was and wasn't going on and why the referral was the best choice. She also gave me suggestions for things to try on my own at home while I wait and a timeline for when to follow up if things haven't improved. I've had a lot of dismissive doctors lately who have refused to believe me because my health problems are more complicated than they want to deal with or because my sensory problems cause my symptoms to present abnormally. Some of them have just sent me home with no help, and others have tossed referrals at me without any explanation in a way that has made me feel like they just didn't feel like talking to me (although they sure wanted my money). I very much appreciate Dr. Smith's kindness and professionalism. I received superb help from her and appreciated that she treated me like a person and not a problem. If you need to see an ENT, you'll be in great hands if you see her.

Fantastic experience: I haven't had my appointment yet but if it is as amazing as my experience with the receptionist, I will still give this place 5 stars! Alison (in primary care... I think that is the name but in case it's wrong I'm sorry!) was so kind to me in my phone call. I needed to make a last minute appointment and she went the extra mile to help me. The customer service was top notch and she was so genuine and understanding. Thank you so much ! UPDATE: had my appointment today and it was great! Everyone was so kind and I was not waiting long at all. Aurelia Wann was very kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have come to this location many times. For covid test, eye bump removal, knee pain, and every time have been impressed. The doctors truly care and listen. The staff is so friendly. Helped in a timely manner. It checks all the boxes.

Fantastic experience: Lee in the Lab is fantastic. I am an extremely hard draw where it can take over an hour to find a vein and then they usually go in on my hand because they still can’t find one. Not only was Lee quick in finding one, I never felt the needle going in. It seriously was fast and painless with no bruising. Thank you Lee for being excellent at your job!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alexis Somers is GREAT best ever!!!! Pitiful ugly people like Alisha sounds like she needs to grow eyebrows get and education, a job real lips that’s know how to speak the English language. All her reviews are negative she’s just a ugly person in general I’m sure. Very uneducated pitiful story you leave behind like any one in the world will care..do you need a hug?

Fantastic experience: I give 5 stars solely based on our pediatrician who is outstanding. The filtered calls are very unprofessional when asking repeatedly to speak to a nurse or medical professional in regards to a visit follow up, medication dosage. I had been misadvised regarding protocol with my infant, with a returned call from a nurse to correct the information I had been given. There is a lack of urgency and no option to hold for the appropriate personnel. With the given 5 star review, please consider where to improve customer service.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE going to see my concussion therapist at the Spine Clinic! I truly can’t even begin to tell you how much I look forward to my Monday mornings! Not many can say that, but Clayton Powers and his current student make it all worth it! I also have to give a shout out to the optics center located in the building as well. It was so easy to get my prescription shades from them and everyone is always so friendly and helpful as well! Thank you for making it such a great experience for me!

Fantastic experience: I enjoy coming here because it is always so clean. There are friendly staff members everywhere. I see Jedidiah for primary care. His staff is sweet. Whoever his assistant is, Brittney MA-C, he has on staff is probably the most pleasant and proficient professional I’ve ever dealt with for medical questions and forms. Seriously, someone needs to give her a RAISE or bonus. Or, have everyone in the company shadow her level of expediency, customer service, and knowledge.

Fantastic experience: This facility is such a treasure in this part of the valley. I’ve been impressed by the University Heath employees. Unlike any other large health system, these employees really seem happy to be at work. The care is excellent and I appreciate that they are keeping up with modern advances like virtual visits and urgent care.

Fantastic experience: Dr William Spiker and his team that includes RN Michella Byl are phenomenal for diagnosing back problems/surgery and I recommend them with the highest regards. From the very first visit, they took the time to thoroughly assess and discuss my back problems and give me options as to the way ahead. They were detailed in their explanation of what was/is wrong with my back, but did so in a way that was easy to understand. Back surgery was completed and I am now recuperating and its going well. This is the place you need to go if you have back problems. I've already recommended them to a couple people.

Fantastic experience: I only come here to get bloodwork done. The phlebotomists in the lab are AMAZING! I have severe anxiety and dread going to any doctor offices/hospitals. I went today to get labs and Zach was the one who did them for me. Before he even got started I got dizzy and warm and felt like I was going to pass out. He waited until the last patient in there was done, closed the door and curtain and gave me a minute before proceeding. After he gave me two orange juices and some crackers to help me. All while talking me through it and easing my mind. I highly recommend getting your labs at this location because all they’re all so great and empathetic there.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. I have been to their ER 4 times now for kidney stones. Each time I am taken care of so well. The entire team is so caring. I know that when I choose to go here, I will always be taken care of. They are all amazing. Thanks U of U South Jordan!!

Fantastic experience: Paige Miller, the Midwife/OBGYN lady deserves the 5 stars. I personally don’t go to see her, but my girl does and she has had 10 different nurses to help her and she is the only one she feels comfortable going to. No matter where she lives in Utah she will always go to her because she makes her feel heard, and is very professional and caring. Thanks for making her feel safe and comfortable with you. That is very important to her and myself.

Fantastic experience: I just couldn't go without praising this u of u Health Center! I went in to the radiology dept. for the first time today and I will definitely start using them as much as possible, even though I have others closer to home. It took me all of 10 minutes from check-in to paying to completing the appointment! And, everyone there was soooo friendly;)

Fantastic experience: Lovely urgent care. Got in and seen, bloodwork, and prescriptions all done in less than an hour and a half! 10/10 would highly recommend. If you must do bloodwork here, ask for Jennie the phlebotomist! She's absolutely awesome. Didn't feel a thing!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, they have a great team to care of you, from the receptionist to the nurses, they do an excellent job, they are doing covid 19 test, you just need to book an appointment before going, bathroom was clean and organize, I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Far and away the best care I have ever received through an emergency room. My doctor was Christopher Kelly. Him and his staff were amazing. I had a kidney stone and the pain was intense. Dr. Kelley and his staff acted quickly to reduce my pain and seemed to have real compassion for me. I would highly recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: Yes, they are busy, but that is the nature of quality health care at this time. They are always helpful, professional, and kind at SJHC, and I always feel confident in the capabilities of the doctors and staff. Sometimes, a wait time is worth it.

Fantastic experience: I had endoscopy back surgery here yesterday the facility is great. The drs are amazing. The nurses were awesome. It ran very smooth, I’m very impressed and I’ve had to have several surgeries in my life. I wish I had known before hand that if my husband had gotten tested for Covid-19 and then quarantine with me then he could have been there when I woke up, but that’s ok. I really loved their service. I already switched all of my drs in the past few months to UofU.

Fantastic experience: I brought my dad into the Emergency Room tonight and the treatment he received was outstanding. From the staff at the entrance doors to all of the people in his care team, I can’t thank you enough for the care and compassion you showed my dad. I truly believe that he was receiving the best care there is. They were able to calm my dad which is so important and so hard to do in such a scary situation. I will recommend this hospital to everybody.

Fantastic experience: I have now been to this location twice and had great experiences both times. Dr Leich and his staff is amazing. The front desk girls are most helpful and always have smile. The assistants in the back are caring , even when you're a whiner. They helped me resolve my issues efficiently. Thanks a bunch

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff , The building is tucked back and you don't see the front of the building so you can drive right past it and not even know you did! I love GPS ! Everything you would expect very nice new building. Alote of specialist. I don't think it's a hospital. You can be ean seen there it's like a big instacare but nicer! They also have a Huntsman Cancer center there I haven't checked it out , I go to the regular Huntsman Cancer Center. I've been fighting cancer along time. I know who is good and who isn't I've one time or another have been to them all.

Fantastic experience: Went to the South Jordan ER, the staff was amazing and I am impressed with the building. The clinic rooms were clean and comfortable. Only suggestion in the facility would be to have a TV in each of EM clinic rooms. This would engage the patient and family while waiting. The parking situation is inadequate to the point where patients are waiting for a car to leave. The surrounding parking on the street is full. Trax passengers park in any space available. These bugs can be worked out tho. Heh how about a parking structure? Have trusted the U of U hospital system since 1973 when our son was born.

Fantastic experience: The ER staff is just phenomenal. They were very concerned for my well being and helpful. I never experienced anything like this. Being a teaching hospital, they were more educational and informative to me than any doctor elsewhere has ever been. Mike in particular is a complete gem. He kept my spirits up despite me being in terrible pain and under a lot of stress. He's the main reason I didn't just crumble and cry my eyes out while there. Mike, if you ever see this, buddy I hope I never have to see you again, but I wish you all the best. You're awesome.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so nice here but most of all Dr Travis Maak and his staff are absolutely phenomenal! I won’t go anywhere else! I highly recommend Dr. Maak to anyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon!

Fantastic experience: Very recently we have had to take our kids multiple times to the urgent care at this hospital and we have been extremely pleased with our experience both times. They got us in quickly, had an efficient check-in procedure, the staff was very kind, and the facilities are beautiful and clean. We will definitely be using this location again in the future!!

Fantastic experience: The urgent care is amazing! We've been twice and had great experiences both times. I've only had IHC before and was a little nervous when our insurance switched. I like this clinic so much better than any InstaCare. At the U of U wait times are shorter and staff is more knowledgeable and kind. I don't feel like a number here. I only have good things to say about this clinic!

Fantastic experience: The staff (which are the 5 stars) at U of U are wonderful! The BILLING DEPARTMENT is HORRIBLE (they deserve NO STARS)!! They were paid and never put the funds towards my account as it was just sitting there somewhere in space. Anyhow in the mean time and after several calls later I was still getting collection calls and letters from multiple places within the U... For this reason and a major headache, I would not recommend them. If you are okay dealing with their billing department then by all means the staff is great and they will treat you right!

Fantastic experience: Went to the OBGYN department early on in my pregnancy. Had to change facilities because of insurance, but I enjoyed the few appointments I had before that. Wish I could've stayed with that doctor. Dr Reynolds and the nurses and check in staff were all very helpful and friendly. I felt that they listened to my concerns and addressed them well. The facility itself is very clean and up to date. I spent some time in radiology and in urgent care and was well cared for in all accounts. When I had to switch hospitals, the medical records and financial departments were helpful and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful facility. I have always been treated very well by the staff and physicians here. Love that they offer free child care when I need to see a doctor. They also offer less conventional services like acupuncture and therapeutic massage, at great rates.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Henrie and his staff at the musculoskeletal clinic are consummate professionals! Jessica, his MA, is bar none, the absolute best! Very caring team! My only negative comment (though not their fault) I live in Davis County...the drive is absolutely ridiculous! Wish he did more clinical work downtown at the University of Utah.

Fantastic experience: Love my children's doctor. All staff is extremely courteous and helpful. No question is insignificant. And they bend over backwards to help understand your health and care options. They've been my son's Dr since he was born, after 2 months of care I switched my older children's to here and I couldn't be happier.
