Rehab Without Walls - Denver Neuro Therapy Center

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Rehab without walls was wonderful. The front desk staff person was very welcoming every time. My occupational therapist Siobhan was so great. She always listened to everything I had to share. She made every appointment worth while and enjoyable. I had a broken finger so it wasn’t very exciting therapy but Siobhan kept appointments interesting/fun. I highly recommend everyone here for your recovery needs!

IT IS A CENTER THAT TRUELY CARES ABOUT THE SERVICES THEY OFFER, YET IT IS VERY PERSONALIZED CARE WHERE THEY ATTEMPT TO FULLY ENGAGE THEIR CLIENT SO RESULTS ARE MAXIMIZED. THEY HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC . Positive experience: Hello. Rehab without walls has been a mixed bag for me. I was sent here by a my neurologist & what I can say is there therapist are both bad & great to work with. I saw them for a year due to a posture issue involving my spine & arm issue. The initial therapist called it FND & I could see the resentment for me was quite high. No one & I mean no one deserves to be treated like they are being bullied despite the effort I made to correct it over a 12 month period. Now we think that it's scoliosis due to a porencephalic cyst. On top of this I had developed a zenkers diverticulum likely due to sinusitis causing post nasal drip. I was horrifically ill following correction of a pinched nerve by a back popper in the neck which was due to forminal narrowing with vitamin d3 deficiency that may have caused phospur deficiency (I know thats rare but that's besides the point.) I only saw the best person once. I went to the supervisor & we switched therapist but after 2 or 3 visits I did started weight training & when I told them everything that was going on. They told me they would discharge me & give one less thing to worry about when there was no indication of that. I think I know why there being this way but it's the wrong attitude to have. There's a different pt building that is on the other street. I don't know if thats causing them some stress but ultimately the behavior I was shown was contempt i.e "it's not a big deal or you just need to be distracted." & historically that will always steer me away from any establishment & make people look elsewhere. There average at best & one good apple doesn't compensate for a bad & mediocre one. -Thank you for reading this.

Fantastic experience: Every single one of my therapists, I have many, is fantastic. They are amazing people who truly care about their patients. They have helped me to become more functional and stable physically after my brain injury. I can’t recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I've worked with Hannah here who is a speech therapist. I learned a lot -- first and foremost that a speech therapist is not necessarily working on speech, but on the cognitive and motoric processes involved in speech. In my case it was mostly about learning to understand my limitations due to a brain injury, and to understand which abilities that I still have can help me in the areas that are difficult. We had only three or four sessions because now I'm working with therapists Colorado's Division of Vocational Rehab has been organizing. If you are reading this because you, too, deal with cognitive problems, I highly recommend Rehab Without Walls, Hannah particularly, but you should also contact the DVR -- they've been beyond helpful. Hannah structured today's last session so I could clearly see, describe, and embody the process we made together and so I feel that even if I would not be able to get further treatments I could progress on my own.
