PAM rehabilitation

Fantastic experience: I recently started my journey at PAM Health Rehab Hospital of Westminster, following back surgery. I needed time in rehab for PT to learn the restrictions and modifications I need to make due to my incision, i.e. bend/lifting/twisting. The morning after my arrival, I had a visit from OT/PT, met my nurse and CNA. All of which were friendly, helpful, and wonderful people. The facility is well maintained and state of the art. You really do get service when you push the help button despite health care always being understaffed. Food was alright but I may go home a little heavier lol. A few people that stood out to me in nursing were Stephanie, Elka, Jack, and Sissy; CNA: Renee was amazing and on top of everything, responsive, and anticipated my needs. I felt like I wanted to take Renee home with me. MY favorite OT's were Joel and Emily. In PT, I learned a lot from Patrick, Iva, and Allison and couldn't have asked for anything better than I received while at PAM Westminster. I was impressed that the CEO would take the time to speak with me and head of departments came in to wish me well. I wish I could've stayed longer. If you have an option of where you can get rehab following an injury or surgery and you are not ready to go home... this is the rehab hospital to choose.

Fantastic experience: Michelle Drahota has helped me get a few of the patients at the facility I work for- transferred to PAM for extra extensive therapy, the transfer in between facilities, professionalism, and communication with Michelle, the family members, and myself. She had made everything easy and very smooth for the patients and family members. Once patient succeeded at PAM, we had accepted the patient back for extended services. Thank you so much for helping our patients gain strength and gains back.

Fantastic experience: Their admissions team is easy to work with, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, would recommend them for acute rehab.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing and the staff is so caring. They take there time the to make sure they give their patients the best care and the care they need. They are always working so hard with the patients to get them back to where they need to be and to make sure that they can do things safely when they leave to go home. I love the environment of the place and the vibe it just gives off they are so welcoming to everyone. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs the extra help to get back on there feet after surgery or just for anything there therapy team is amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Things were very very difficult for me in the beginning. When I got to PAM, everything changed immediately and improved very quickly. I appreciate everything PAM health in Westminster has done to help me recover in my process.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing staff. My cousin Dona was admitted after a stroke and Joe Baca our case manager was so helpful. Walking us through all the steps we needed to take and explained everything to us. We had no idea. In a stressful time they made it so much easier going above and beyond to walk us through and help us communicate with other facilities to find the right place and the right assistance we needed. everything was done quickly and efficiently. We can’t recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: I cannot express enough how much the care we have received at Pam Rehab Hospital in Westminster has meant to me. My husband had a stroke in March and after a stay at the hospital and inpatient care at Pam Hospital, he is now in outpatient care. We had a rough start getting the approval for speech and OT from our insurance company. Eric Rutsky never refused to take a call from me, even when I called him every day, and it was always with a smile. With his persistence the approvals finally came through. It made a difficult time much easier. And now Eric has been a huge help to Bob with the use of his hand and everyday issues. The loss of speech was the hardest thing for Bob and I to handle. Since starting speech therapy at Pam, Bob is now showing improvement every day. David Thompkins’ passion for his work shows in every session when working with Bob. And Ann Blackwood is so compassionate, caring and patient, that Bob looks forward to his speech therapy sessions with her. Bob always walks out with a smile on his face, and now has the confidence to go forward thanks to Eric, David, and Ann.

Fantastic experience: Over the course of my working career, I have never had a career so rewarding as I do here at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westminster. The leadership team, staff and patients are what make me come back everyday and continue to strive to provide the best patient service we can provide. As someone who has spent quite a bit of time in a hospital setting, I take great pride and joy in what we are able to provide to our patients along their journey to return home in a better and healthier state than when they came in to our facility and we have an amazing team to work with to help achieve that exact goal!

Fantastic experience: PAM Westminster has excellent care all around! Every department is a 5 start department. Some people to highlight are: Patrick Lalancette, Clay Richter (PTs), David my Speech Therapist, Jackie my OT! The entire nursing staff has been wonderful including CNA Benny and RN Renae I was paralyzed from the neck down and the exceptional teaM at PAM Westminster has got me to start moving my body again educating me for this long road of recovery. Patrick my PTA has made such an impact on mu rehab and just wanted to say thanks for all you do

Fantastic experience: This facility brought me back to life. I felt like I was in a dark world for a long time but the nursing staff and therapist were helpful. Everything at this facility is amazing and I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Everything at this facility was great from the food to the custodial care to the doctors. Patrick, Joel and Jackie where my therapist and were so good and because of the teams great care I get to go home earlier than expected and prepared.

Fantastic experience: As a nursing student getting my clinical hours I shadowed a few nurses. Lacey, Autumn, Marley and Jamie are all very knowledgeable and they really enjoy their job.

Fantastic experience: Have had both my parents stay at PAM. Such a beautiful clean hospital. Therapy staff was great Aaron made a huge impact. Social workers were helpful Jackie Beau and Joe were great. If my parents need to come back I feel confident in them taking good care of them.

Fantastic experience: I initially spent time at PAM Westminster as an inpatient and received PT and OT to rehab my knee replacement. I loved my time there because I felt like the therapist and nursing staff was caring and knowledgeable. I then returned multiple times for outpatient PT. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I love the PT Marianne, Aaron, and Patrick. The outpatient director and OT, Eric Rutsky is fabulous. They are organized, love to educate, and work on meeting me where I’m at. They especially listen to me when I create goals making it more personable and individualized.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t ask for better care or attention, especially from Eric. Rutsky/Occupational Therapy Director. He has gone over and above what would typically be expected, ensuring that I am taken care of and getting the proper care I need. I’d also like to give MaryAnn Gilbert a shout out. She got me up and walking, which I’m really excited about. And has been super patient through all the progress. I would highly recommend occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy to anyone who is looking for good therapyi in any of these areas.

Positive experience: My mom was here twice and both times, she had positive comments about the staff. They attended to her needs, helped with her rehab, and treated her well. She greatly improved and gained much needed strength while at the facility. As a visitor, I saw she had a nice, clean room, and the facility was secure and clean. Her doctor's were not as communicative with me, but continued to make sure her medical care was appropriately taken care of. Their case worker, Jackee, was extremely helpful as I navigated the transition of my mom from rehab to home. In the end, Jackee helped find another facility that better suited my mom's needs, rather than sending her home. I now have a lot of great information available when my mom does eventually get to move back home. I was very pleased to see the progress my mom made while at PAM.

Fantastic experience: We can't say enough good things about PAM. It was the best choice we ever made. The inpatient acute rehab was great, and the outpatient rehab was far beyond what we expected. The care and concern of the staff was excellent. We especially credit the Outpatient Therapy Director, Eric Rutsky, for the wonderful progress that has been made. He is extremely knowledgeable and caring, and helped in so many ways beyond therapy. We would recommend this facility to anyone.

Fantastic experience: PAM rehabilitation treatment center is by far the BEST center i have ever gone to. I've had to go to three other facilities of this nature, so I truly do have something to compare it to. The staff is unbelievable. The phenomenal therapists that got me strong again; as well as the Nurses, doctors, nurses assistants, housekeeping personnel, the kitchen staff, the phlebotomists, etc. Nothing but kind and compassionate. When I needed to ring the assistance button, the response time for someone to come to my aid was timely and fast. They are very caring people. Should we ever need this type of care in the future, my husband and myself will Definitely be using this facility again!

Fantastic experience: Sending a loved one to a Rehab is usually very worrisome but once we toured the Pam Facility Health Rehab we decided to use this facility. Everyone was nice and helpful of all the questions that we asked about the care of our family member . We highly recommend this Rehab . We were very satisfied with the care they received . I would recommend them to my friends .

Fantastic experience: I was hesitant to visit this new PAM/IRF facility and place my Aunt here because of the previous facility's reputation (Cobalt). I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I walked in on day 1 and with the entire experience. When I came for a tour, the lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful and the CEO himself gave me the tour. The therapy gyms are gorgeous and their Director of Therapy came out and said hello to me during the tour and talked to me about what to expect if I should choose to bring my Aunt here. She said most folks rehab for less than 14 days and nearly all of them return home. My biggest fear was that my Aunt will end up in a SNF for the rest of her life. The therapy is super intense, about 3 hours a day...but my Aunt is back home!!!!!!!!! The Case Management team set up home health services and everything! The nurses, CNAs, therapists, food services, everyone was just wonderful. It only took 9 days for the AMAZING STAFF to get her where she needed to regain independence and move on with her life. 5/5 stars - I would bring any family member here or even myself if something were to happen. They really turned things around.
