Fantastic experience: The physical therapy that I have been receiving on my right knee and shoulder at Cora Physical Therapy by Marc Gamboa has been extraordinary. Marc is an extremely knowledgeable physical therapist who has been incredibly patient with me, while also pushing me (I am a 72 year old man) to do things that I never thought that I could do. In addition, he is a genuinely nice person, who shows when working with you that he really cares about you as his patient and as an individual. In my opinion, he is second to no one. I have also been there when other patients have been working with another PT doctor, and I was really impressed with the interaction between the other PT doctor and his patients. It is quite evident that Cora has extremely high standards in hiring very special physical therapists, who love what they are doing. I highly recommend Cora, and especially Marc Gamboa, for your physical therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: I tore my hamstring, pretty severely, after taking a fall from a ladder. My orthopedic surgeon at Duke Sports Medicine and I were looking for a progressive PT center in Wilmington that offered more advanced recovery workouts. We tried Cora as they told him that they employed the types of PT that we needed. Ryan led my recovery program that took me from a walker, post-surgery, to riding my fat bike again on the beach, hiking and now building back the strength and endurance that I had pre-fall. They listened to me as I stated my goals and we built a plan to achieve them. Huge thanks to Ryan, Caitlin and Alma...a powerful team.

Fantastic experience: The team at CORA Physical Therapy is amazing. Alma is so kind and works hard to cater to patient needs and always does so with a smile. Ryan and Caitlin provide effective, specific treatments and always take the time to educate patients on the the diagnosis and purpose for treatment. They genuinely care about their patients. Both Ryan and Caitlin work so hard to make improvements in quality of life and decrease pain in every patient they work with!

Fantastic experience: They know what they are doing. Feel very safe in their arms. Excellent customer service. Very punctual. Appointments always start right on time. Most importantly, it works. I had surgery for a tore tendon and I see big improvements in range of motion and strength after every visit.

Fantastic experience: This office is amazing! I drive an hour and a half just to come to this office! When my 3 year old first started going, he needed so much help. He had so much knee pain that he would cry all night for it. Ryan explained to us that he had knocked knees. They started physical therapy right after. Let me tell you they worked magic on my baby! He went from falling down nonstop to learning to balance himself. The exercises they gave him to do at home has helped so much. Ms. Kaitlin ( probably spelled it wrong) has been such a wonderful lady to us. The fact that this office has so much patience makes this environment so relaxing. Mrs. Alma front desk is such a sweet lady when we enter the building. She always work with our schedule and that is a plus! Today my son has finished his therapy and we can proudly say his work as well as his therapist help will allow him to live a pain free life. Thank you Cora Physical Therapy of Wilmington! My family will never forget this blessing!

Fantastic experience: The team at Cora are super professional and very friendly, quickly making you feel comfortable with being there. I especially appreciated the fact that the team took the time to completely explain the procedure being performed, and how the muscle and skeletal system worked together to impact the body movements. Caitlin and Ryan are absolute professionals, and Alma is super friendly and helpful at the entrance desk as well. And I would like to give a special shoutout for Riley, who is an intern there. She has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and will no doubt make a great Physical Therapist!

Fantastic experience: Chad and Ryan take such interest in helping one recover from and injury or other related health issues. I know the exercises that they have shown me have improved my overall health and well-being. My balance has improved so very much allowing me to walk in a straight line without bumping into my wife. Makes her happy too. The stretches they have me perform for my back and joints has allowed me to walk up stairs without the nagging pain and leg dragging, which is fantastic! I would, without-a-doubt, recommend CORA to my friends or anyone that is in need of a physical therapist.

He took his time to explain all facets of the exercises and care and was very diligent in observing my weaknesses and pains. Fantastic experience: After lower back surgery, my doctor recommended PT treatments since I was continuing to have some discomfort in this area (probably due to scar tissue from same surgery 30 years ago). After only a few treatments thus far, I have noticed a lot of improvement in my pain level. Chad is very careful and takes the time to explain each exercise and its benefits. As mentioned in another review regarding changing appointments, Alma has been very understanding and quite helpful when I've needed to do so. Fantastic experience: Both my wife and I have had the privilege of the staff's dedication to get us back to a healthy state. Alma, (staff coordinator) greets you with a friendly, cheerful welcome. Jean Kelly,(Therapist) always smiling and caring, encouraging you to keep up the "good" work, helping you to get to the next level of progress. Chad Holderness,(Assist. Therapist) rounds out the team. He is always cheering you on to do your best, wanting nothing more than having you being able to reach "graduation day" better than before your surgery. I used the word "team" earlier. Once you enroll at Cora, you have become part of a great team, in a friendly family atmosphere. Once "graduation day", (last day of therapy) you can't help but to return, to give hugs and thank you's, to your new extended family. Thank you Cora Therapy Team(family), for both our successes.

Fantastic experience: I had 3 months of physical therapy to treat low back issues and a ruptured disc and everything about CORA at the Military Cutoff location was positive. One theme that stood out across the board with the CORA personnel is that they seemed to love their jobs and they truly care about my health and making my life better. They took my physical issues and limitations personally it seemed and were determined to make my life better. I know Chad was not going to be satisfied, even with himself I believe, until he figured out how and what worked for me to reduce my pain level and improve my quality of life, which he did. Then there's Alma at the front desk, who greets you when you walk in and handles the scheduling and other admin duties, she is a gem! A note to management; take good care of her and don't let her go anywhere. You can't replace such a person. Like the many other reviews state but in different words......I think THIS CORA group is exceptional!!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is amazing! They have been super friendly, no matter what the request or concern is. My husband has been going since November, and because of his work schedule we have to reschedule appointments quite often. They never make us feel bad or guilty for rescheduling them. Fantastic experience: My experience at the Wilmington Cora clinic was outstanding! Each time I walked in the clinic, I was greeted with a friendly face and smile by Alma. Jean and Chad do amazing work and are great and friendly people. I never had a bad day when I went to the clinic. They have positive attitudes when working which helped me to have a positive attitude and outlook on the situation. They also do a great job at explaining exercises and how the body works. I recommend Cora to people I know who are looking to do physical therapy. Great clinic and great people!

Fantastic experience: My son is doing therapy there and we are beyond happy with the results. The therapist Jean and Chad are just amazing and so knowledgeable and the Alma at the front desk always receives you with a bright smile and makes you feel welcome and always on point with scheduling. They treat you like family not like a number. I have therapy myself in another Location and wish I knew about Cora when I needed therapy but beyond happy my son is in great hands. In addition to the pleasantries the receptionist brings to the atmosphere, Jean Kelly is a very knowledgeable and personable therapist. Fantastic experience: My first and only son was diagnosed with tortacollis at his two month check up and we were referred to Chris Kelleigh at Cora PT. To say I was nervous is an understatement!!! Chris Kelleigh at once made me feel welcomed!!! After only a few minutes of talking with her and watching her interact with my son I knew that she was highly experienced, exceptional with children and has a passion for her job. I highly recommend her she is fabulous!!!

She truly sets the tone of the office with her authentic personality that lights up a room. The Pediatric Physical Therapist is the best we have EVER seen. Chris Kelleigh is high professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and generous with sharing what she knows. She has been helping our 11 year old son learn to walk again after pulling two muscles while doing the strangest thing- growing. Chris has kept every session focused, every exercise is with purpose and she does all of this with a beautiful smile. Truly, it is not easy to keep a tween motivated and excited to come to physical therapy every week. Chris, Bianca- you are both true gems in this world. We are so thankful for the hard work you have both put into our family, and for the love you have shown us these past few months. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic experience: I had a pretty tough road to recovery after knee surgery and the team at Accent has helped tremendously over the past few weeks. Jon, Chad, and Alex are always knowledgeable of the previous visit and ailments I had and work to fix such issues. In the past I have gone to physical therapist who forgot what workouts we did the previous visit and even disregard the injured body part. These guys are the real deal, highly recommend.
