Fantastic experience: Had very bad knee pain. Russ evaluated me and put a treatment plan in place. I did not think the pain would subside, but Russ assured me we’d get there. After rehabbing with him my knees are doing great, so nice not to be in pain. Russ is a great guy extremely knowledgeable, pleasant to work and helps you to achieve your goals. Russ is “the man”

Fantastic experience: Started working with PT Services of Wilmington two weeks after total knee replacement. Andy is a great therapist. He's knowledgeable, kind and caring. Andy pushed me to gain range of motion, strength and mobility. And my surgeon has noted that the progress of my rehab has been materially ahead of expectations for this procedure. You couldn't make me go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I saw Johnathan (hope I’m spelling it right) a little over two weeks ago, as I’m cycling across the country and in preparation encountered some fairly intense knee pain. My visit with him was thorough and I felt a lot more informed about what I was dealing with. I got into the first day of my trip a couple days ago and encountered the same pain & asked to speak with him with some new questions. He just called me back and had a whole conversation with me. Feel super supported by this PT office and really appreciate the time from Johnathan.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Physical Therapy Services of Wilmington. Jane Burchfield is top notch and very caring and concerned about all her clients. Her hand therapy is unequivocally the best. Russ Simmerman was able to bring my frozen shoulder back to normal and was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly my shoulder responded to his treatment. The staff is very kind and accommodating to your every need. I came from Leland to Wilmington just for them and they were well worth it. My surgeon recommended them and I am so glad he did. Do yourself a favor if you need PT give them a try

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Andy to all my coworkers, friends and family in need of a super PT! It amazes me how he can figure out the root of the PT issue before you even tell him where the pain is and educate you on it! We are fortunate to have him as our LOB PT and his office in Porters Neck is really convenient and nice as well.

Fantastic experience: The staff at PT Services of Wilmington are all very friendly and knowledgeable, and I really appreciate that they're always on time. Russ is a very intuitive physical therapist-- especially when it comes to dry needling (which is very hard to find!). He takes everything into account and really listens to your concerns when coming up with a treatment plan. They reinforce past exercises each time, as well as add new ones so you feel like you're getting the most out of each visit. I highly recommend this place.

He is a great motivator as well! I really liked at PT Services, I could schedule my appointments really early or late afternoon. They are flexible!!! 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Jane Burchfield is absolutely the one you want to see if you have any hand issues. I was amazed at how fast she evaluated my hand and initiated a clear and concise treatment regimen. The improvement in mobility and hand function was almost immediate. All of the staff at Physical Therapy Services do a great job.

Fantastic experience: I had Russ as my therapist when my Jaw was in extreme pain due to TMJ. There are very few therapists who treat this condition in the Wilmington area. I thought I was going to have to suffer for months but in a few short weeks, I was able to eat laugh talk and live life the way I was used to before this happened. I sincerely cannot Thank Russ and his staff for being kind and compassionate when I wasn't feeling well. His innovative procedures really helped me so much. Thank you so much !!!!! Fantastic experience: My wife went here years ago for a hand injury and had excellent results, so when I injured my foot 6 months ago I finally went also. After multiple treatments from a foot doctor with no improvement, Grace at Physical therapy Services figured out my real problem and in 4 weeks cured me. I told her she is a genius and asked if she would be my new doctor! Now I can walk again pain free! Thank you Grace and PTS!

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering from several foot conditions and had trouble walking due to severe pain. I was worried that my life would be severely negatively impacted by these conditions permanently. I began physical therapy with Andy at the Porters Neck location. He listened to my symptoms, incorporated associated medical issues, and created a treatment plan to alleviate my pain. As treatment progressed, he adjusted the plan to adapt to the changes and because of my treatment with Andy, I am now pain free!! I am so thankful and I highly recommend his services.

No matter what issue I am having, they develop a plan utilizing the most current techniques. In addition, strategies are provided to maintain fitness when therapy ends. Fantastic experience: I am a Marylander senior with painful deconditioning complications and cannot disrupt my therapy while visiting Wilmington. It is very fortunate that I selected this practice, for they are exceptional. Every person there is warm and personable and highly efficient; each therapist produces amazing results. My condition has improved tremendously and I feel more hopeful than ever now that I am in their care. The level of expertise has even caused me to change the therapy practice I used back home. Fantastic experience: I recommend PT Services of Wilmington highly and unequivocally. I am a long-term PT patient at this practice (going on 18 mos. now). I wish I could take credit for choosing them intentionally, but I simply lucked into this perfect situation. From the start, the administrative/reception staff has been generous, understanding, and personable. The clinic atmosphere is similarly friendly and comfortable, and Dr. Andy Alaimo's combination of knowledge & skill, dedication & innovativeness, make him a rare and invaluable asset. I have a chronic illness and severe disabilities, and with his help I have been able to reach and maintain significant functional milestones that contribute to my quality of life. Fantastic experience: Extremely positive experiences working with the staff and PT specialists at Physical Therapy Services of Wilmington, first for an ankle surgery recovery in 2011 and then for a patella/knee surgery in 2018. Everyone there, from the front desk to the PT's, seem to love what they do, and that makes it a positive experience for everyone. I always felt at ease and knew that I was in good hands, and I appreciate all the helpful information along the way regarding the exercises, treatment, etc. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs physical therapy services.

Fantastic experience: Russ and his staff on 17th street have taken wonderful care of me. In just three weeks they were able to help my TMD tremendously. I went from 35mm max opening WITH pain to 35mm opening without pain. They are sensitive to my case while being informative and detailed. The visits aren’t long and if they go over the time they always make sure it is okay to continue. Scheduling is very flexible and so is payment plans/options. A month ago I could barely speak or eat without pain but since Dr. Russ started working on me I have had a better quality of life. He has even done dry needling on me which I recommend if he suggests it. At just 23years old I felt discouraged until I meet Dr. Russ. In this short time together has shown me how to take control over my life again. What a blessing him and his staff have been to me.

Fantastic experience: Andy at Physical Therapy Services of Wilmington has helped me so much! I started seeing him after a horseback riding accident. He is thorough and knowledgeable in his treatment. I also broke my foot woke still seeing him for treatment. He was able to still help me with my hip and give me exercises that I could do with a broken foot. I was just released on Thursday. And, while I'll miss the friendly office, I'm feeling great and moving freely! I highly recommend him to anyone needing help!

Fantastic experience: Physical Therapy Services of Wilmington is the best place in town to go for physical therapy! I have been there a number of times for my Cerebral Palsy needs as well as other unrelated issues to my Cerebral Palsy. My physical therapist Russ is excellent! He has always been able to help me work through to a solution to each issue I have come to see them. Also, Andy has used SCM technique which has helped me a great deal with my pain in my neck. The techniques that Russ and Andy have used in my treatment plan help gradually eliminate my pain. I have a very positive outlook with the continued course of treatment plan of becoming pain free before I "graduate." The whole staff has great communication and teamwork concerning patient's individualized needs. The front desk staff is very welcoming and courteous. I can't say enough wonderful things about this excellent team! Thank you PT Services of Wilmington! Keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: I've had multiple great experiences at PT services of Wilmington. I was a patient for a shoulder dislocation once before and once after surgery. Russ Simmerman was my therapist and did a great job both times. I also completed an internship here under Andy Alaimo which was a fantastic experience.
