Liberty Commons Rehabilitation Center

Fantastic experience: Our Mom had to go to a skilled nursing facility for a couple of weeks. We are so grateful for Liberty Commons wonderful care . The health care team which consist of the Unit manager. RN / LPN nurses and nursing assistants ,CMA ´ś who worked with our Mom was attentive and understanding. Thank you Rehab PT, OT awesome. Housekeeping was very pleasant and was willing to help. Thank you dining staff for assisting with meal replacements when needed. Thank you everyone that made our Mom's stay feel welcome. Fantastic experience: My husband currently is in Liberty Commons Facility. We have had horrible experiences recently at Novant Hospital, where we have lost trust in healthcare. Liberty has put a different perspective on healthcare for us. My husband is hard to please due to previous medical experiences, but he is very happy at Liberty. They not only meet his needs but they also meet my whole families need.

Fantastic experience: I'm so thankful my wife was able to go here for her rehab. The staff is so nice and treated us like royalty! The Speech Therapist as well as the OT and PT Therapists are the best and very caring and nice! I know my wife is getting the best care! Fantastic experience: So glad I was able to go to Liberty Commons Rehabilitation Center for my rehab! The staff is so caring and nice to me and my husband. The OT and PT are really the best! As well as my Speech Therapy! All my therapists are so nice and professional! So thankful I was able to come here! Would recommend to anyone !!!

Fantastic experience: I spent 5 weeks at Liberty Commons. From the beginning I was treated kindly and with respect by the staff. The nurses and PT and OT were wonderful and very helpful to me while I was getting IV therapy. The facility is very clean and comfortable. I am very glad I chose to get rehabilitation at LibertyCommons. I recommend them highly to anyone who needs rehabilitation. Thanks Liberty!

Fantastic experience: After falling, we had my mother there for about two months. The staff was great alone with the nurses, cooks, cleaning personel, and information on her status. She also enjoyed. All the people there, especially the therapist.

Fantastic experience: My Grandmother was at Liberty Commons for short term rehab. The staff went above and beyond to meet expectations. She talked about how nice everyone was to her. Her therapy team was excellent and was able to get her safely ready for discharge back home!!!

Fantastic experience: My 73 year old brother has been a resident at Liberty Commons for three and a half years. He started in rehab following a debilitating stroke that left him unable to walk or care for himself and was transferred to the assisted living wing when his rehab was completed without significant improvement. He's a big man and requires a special lift to move from bed to wheelchair. He is an insulin dependent diabetic and requires regular testing and injections. There is no way I could have possibly cared for him at home even with assistance. For me, Liberty Commons has been a god-send. His quality of care here has been excellent overall. Although he isn't always happy, it's usually because he misses his home and independent life and hates to rely so completely on others for everything. He is fed, bathed and receives his needed medications like clockwork. As with any facility like this, the quality and quantity of the staff varies from outstanding to good. But I would say that it is weighted at the outstanding level. Clearly friendliness and patient care are core values. Turnover is noticeable. We've had no issues with the overall care from the staff, and any concerns have be promptly addressed by senior staff and management. One minor complaint would be that it took me quite a while to learn who did what and get to know the key players in the caregiving system. The physical aspects of the facility are generally good. Its not a new facility, but they are regularly updateing spaces, and issues are attended to promptly and cleanliness is very good. I trust this facility to care for my loved one.

Fantastic experience: I entered LC for physical therapy following a broken leg. The PT staff is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. They put me at ease although I was very anxious about therapy. The equipment is more than adequate for therapy. The therapists went out of their way to be sure I had and used the best possible equipment. The facility as a whole is a good place to recover. Staff is helpful and well trained.

Positive experience: My daughter came to facility completely paralyzed from head to toe (“including vocal cords ) from unknown condition The PT and OT and speech therapists were excellent ! All personnel were so caring and knowledgeable ,supportive and encouraging in my daughter’s recovery . Her mobility in hands has improved and she is able to once again feed and dress herself . With only one vocal cord she can talk and hold lengthy conversations once again. I highly recommend this facility and I am grateful for their kindness and comfort in treatment procedures Thank you to everyone!

Fantastic experience: My mother has been at Liberty for the past three weeks for rehab. The facility is very welcoming, staff is friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. The nurses and aides have been amazing. Physical, speech and OT therapists have been great! When we have had questions we have gotten quick responses. The facility is very clean. Her room is very large and nice. Could not have asked for a better place for her to receive her care.

Fantastic experience: Liberty Commons rehabilitation is a top notch facility. It’s always hard living a loved one and trusting they are going to get good care. I am able to rest easy at night knowing my dad is getting SUPERIOR care. From the staff, to the meals, cleanliness of the facility, excellent therapists and administrative staff Liberty Commons is the place to send any loved one. I have been in nursing for 25plus years and this place has blown me away.

Fantastic experience: My cousin was transferred to Liberty Commons from the critical care step down floor at the hospital. She was cared for by a lot of wonderful doctors, nurses and therapists. Our family was very pleased with the quality of care she received. A special thank you to the excellent therapy team for their empathy and encouragement.

Positive experience: Have total respect for the daily care of a good friend who has been a resident for over 14 years. He is well groomed and protected with a sense of ownership by the caregivers. For that I respect the attitude of an advocacy and protection for their client. Always checking in on the patient. I am always please with his specific individual care.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing Care. I am in their Rehabilitation Unit where there are all private rooms with refrigerators and all the staff greet everyone with a smile. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: My mom worked here years ago and she loved it I grew up coming to this facility with my mom and I loved it i don’t know how the staff is now over the years , but my mom was a excellent CNA when she was here and still is I love this facility

Positive experience: Staff is always very attentive and facility is always clean and neat. My mother has always been very happy going to rehab here. This last time our visit ended in lots of misplaced clothes, I had usually done her laundry and taken it back, but this time I didn't and wish I had. As far as therapy, nursing and staff I give 5 stars, laundry and housekeeping in patients room leave a lot to be desired I give 3 stars.

Fantastic experience: I was there for 10 days for rehab after 10 days in the hospital.the rooms were very clean and the staff was very responsive and friendly.the food was good,just didn't give you enough.the physical therapy staff was evcellent,especially geraldine,Michael and susan.

Fantastic experience: We visit with my mother-in-law about twice a week, if not more. Once a week, we take her out for lunch and/or shopping. She will always let us know when she is ready to "go home." It is such a blessing that she is in a place where she not only receives the 24 hour care she requires, but she is also in a place that she can call home. We are so thankful for the CNAs, nurses and staff members at Liberty Commons who make that possible.
