Negative experience: I waited months for my appt for TMJ physical therapy. Then the DAY OF the appt they called me and said that the PT said they don’t doTMJ PT at the Oakland location. My doctor wrote the order for TMJ PT so it was stated when I made the appt in the first place. I’ve spent months in pain waiting for this appt only to have it cancelled at the last minute. I now have to find a different clinic and hope I get an appt sooner that at this place.

Fantastic experience: Marisa, the physical therapist I had my first appointment with for my back issues, was great. She explained very clearly the reasons for my pain, the overall goals, and the goal of each exercise. Highly recommended! Only minor issue (but it's probably a good sign!) is that they are very busy, so not much availability for appointments.

Fantastic experience: I gladly give Vibrant Care in Oakland all 5 stars. I have arthritis and small bone spurs in my right hip. I didn't think I could get help. I've been working with Sean and Aaron. When I walked in at first limping and in pain, I walked out feeling no pain and back to normal. Everyone is very professional and friendly. They listen and make adjustments when needed. Very personalized care here. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: I’ve been trying to make an appointment here for a month (I’ve called twice and left two messages) and haven’t heard back despite a referral being sent over by my doctor. I’m sure their therapists are wonderful but getting in touch has been really difficult so I’m going to go elsewhere.

Negative experience: At Vibrant Care, they keep the entrance to the building locked. There is a paper posted at the locked door, with a phone number you can call while you stand there. However, there is a multi level voicemail system so no matter what number you press, all you can do is leave a message. Yesterday I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and stood outside the building waiting for someone to acknowledge the existence of the appointment. By several minutes after time my appointment time had passed, I gave up and left. Vibrant care wasted my afternoon and parking fee. Of course I can’t comment on the quality of the PT since the broken admin system prevented me from getting any care. Eventually someone called me, without identifying they were from Vibrant Care, and obliquely offered to allow me to return another day. I had heard Vibrant Care was mediocre at best, but my physician told me that since my problem is simple, they could probably handle it. I’ll never know.

Fantastic experience: I am 80 and over the years I have been in Physical Therapy several times. I was referred for frozen shoulder, a condition I’d also had 3 years prior. Peng Fan was by far the best PT I have ever had. She was precise in her evaluation of what I needed. she explained and demonstrated each exercise and what the exercise was for in a way that left me with a clearer understanding of how my body works, a perfect combination of stretching and strengthening. I was impressed with her competency and professionalism. I would recommend her to anyone and to Vibrant Care. Judith Luce

Fantastic experience: I have had an excellent experience with Vibrant Care. I was having serious issues with back pain. The sessions and exercises clearly have been effective. I mostly worked with Peng and she did an excellent job of moving me forward at a good pace without pushing me too fast. All staff and physical therapists I dealt with were professional and cordial.

Fantastic experience: I came to VibrantCare thinking I had pulled my hip flexors. I wasn’t able to walk without excruciating pain. It turned out that it was most likely a hip joint issues. My PT assured me that the sessions should help, and they did. I feel a lot better than when I started.

Positive experience: That staff was great when I was there but then I couldn't reach them. Left many messages, never could get through, never got a call back. So not sure this place still exists.

Positive experience: TLDR; it's mid. They were able to schedule my first appointment quickly and offered great flexibility in my scheduling. They have a good variety of equipment and many different PT's to choose from. This is both great and detrimental because my first PT was not good. He didn't know anything about my injury, didn't offer guidance to my recovery, and didn't explain how to massage out my scar tissue. He just wasn't good. But the other PT's I've had have been very good. Also they messed up my scheduling and I showed up to an appointment that had been scheduled for the wrong day and was marked as a "no show". That was a bit frustrating. Also the PT's seem overbooked, but that's not something they can control. Overall, it's a decent clinic.

Negative experience: They could not find my original referral. I called my doctor and had another referral sent over. Then, I reached somebody by voice once, still didn't get an appointment. Called back 3-4 weeks ago to try to get my first appointment; never received a call back. Called today and the new staff person ("I don't usually work at this clinic, I'm from another clinic") says maybe my message "didn't get through"! Complete and utter incompetence and lack of any professionalism. Will not go here for PT and will pay out of pocket if I have to.

Positive experience: I recently completed my eighth and final physical therapy session at VibrantCare Rehabilitation. Overall I had a really positive experience, hold the PT staff in very high esteem and would recommend this facility to others. I worked primarily with Andrew. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, attentive to my (many) questions and always happy to demonstrate, modify or elevate exercises based on my questions and requests. I would request to work with him again in a heartbeat. Similarly, I worked with two other therapists on days when Andrew was unavailable. They were equally friendly and professional, picking up my case pretty seamlessly. It's clear that the VibrantCare employees take teamwork to heart. There is a sense of camaraderie that makes the environment super positive and enjoyable to do your physical therapy in. The only growing edge for VibrantCare, that for me would bump it up to 5 stars, is that they do seem a bit understaffed. There were a few days when patients outnumbered staff members so a few of them had to attend to more than one person at a time. I'd love to see this team grow so that they can continue to provide even better individualized care for their patients. They're doing great work there!

Negative experience: I am wondering if this is a real place. I have left phone message and a message via their website over two weeks and still don't have any appointment yet. Not once in my calling have I reached a live person.

Fantastic experience: I have been to several physical therapy places in different states and cities this is by far the best! The staff is very friendly, professional and well organized. I am getting stronger physically and for the first time in seven years I am using both legs to climb stairs.

Fantastic experience: I came in for rehab of my broken ankle and was thoroughly impressed! Dr. Stephanie is a pro with over 17 years experience, and I have high confidence that she'll get me back to ninja-shape in no time.
