Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Schabacker for 8 years and he has been empathetic, a good listerner, and compassionate. He is very strict.......because he has to be...by law. Our government places difficult regulations on Pain Clinics and I hope they will not close these clinics in the future. I am thankful he continues to practice his specialty.

Negative experience: Don't go to this Dr !!!! Im currantly going after him and a assistant of his for touching me on my butt and threatening me saying its my word over his if I said something and fired me this goes with my previous review I've been scared to come forward BUT NOT NOW

Fantastic experience: I am a patient whose history includes, but is not limited to, multiple spine surgeries, including a failed 3 level fusion of the L-spine, scoliosis, a progressive, degenerative autoimmune disease, spinal cord damage and other concomitant conditions. I have received medical treatment at several major medical centers in the West. All consulting physicians have arrived at the same medical conclusion: No medical alternative exists with the exception of Pain Management. Dr. M. Schabacher came highly recommended as I was relocating from California and required a qualified and experienced Pain Management Professional. He has been nothing less than a consummate professional in every aspect of care. I could not be more satisfied with his care, knowledge and ethics.

Negative experience: I was with him for a year and a half andnever had one infraction no bad UAS NOTHING he sent me a certified letter in the mail saying that I had to come in so I did. He told me he was "firing " me because someone else " another patient " who dislikes me told him I was selling my pills. I told him give me a UA it will show I'm taking them I was Subutext he told me to quit blubbering and fake crying and I wasn't I would NEVER SELL MY MEDS !!!¡!!!!!! HE TOOK ANOTHER PAIEBTS WORD OVER MINE!!!!!¡!! I WAS TAKING TO MANY BECAUSE I WAS IN MORE PAIN ABD I WAS TOLD BY ANOTHER PAIN DOCTOR THAT DR SHABACKER AND HANS THE ONE WHO SAW ME WAS WRONG AND CAN BE SUED AND THEY LEFT ME WITH HAVING BAD WITHDRAWALS WHICH I AM HAVING NOW DONT GO TO HIM WHAT EVER TIU DO

Negative experience: Do not trust this "doc". They lie!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schabacker is the most dedicated, understanding and knowledgeable pain management physician that my husband has seen during the course of his debilitating illness. My husband has a rare condition that has caused deterioration of the entire spine and all joints within his body inconjunction with his central nervous system: Yes, it will eventuate in his death. Dr. Schabacker has a no-nonsense approach to the management of the pharmaceutical therapies that he prescribes. Why so strict? Simply: He cares!! Dr. Schabacker cares about the well-being of his patients, the overall management of their health and any undue risk from the abuse of the treatments he prescribes. If you are drug seeking, please do not trouble this compassionate, ethical, quality physician. He is a valued clinical resource in Montana and does not deserve anything other than gratitude, praise & respect !

Fantastic experience: Best pain management doctor in the state! He came here from Las Vegas with the same mentality as most Vegas Dr's, but he saw real pain in ranchers, farmers construction workers and many more. He now has so much empathy for people, and he really listens to you and runs tests if need be.
