Positive experience: They are really struggling with scheduling and communication when it comes to paperwork.

Fantastic experience: Dr Guy Schmidt did an excellent job. We could delay knee replacement by 6 years following removal of a miniscus. The surgery went well, and I'm back hiking and cycling and pickle ball-ing. But, beware, you gotta go through some pain for a good long while--but it'll be worth it.

Fantastic experience: I just had a wonderful first visit with Dr. Barry Smith today regarding hand issues. He is so kind, understanding and very informative. He alleviated my hand pain temporarily, but need surgery. Would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Although it does take some time to get in to see Dr. Smith it is well worth the wait. He has done surgery on both of my hands and I am happy with the results. Pleasant staff and surgery center is awesome too.

Negative experience: Receptionist and medical staff are very racist..treat minorities like third class citizens, would not recommend to anyone of color for sure, terrible experience

Fantastic experience: Dr. Barry Smith is the best doctor at all of billings clinic. He is so kind and compassionate and knows his specialty better than any other. He takes the time to understand the patient’s concern and answers questions to make sure the patient understands. I had an elderly friend that I took to him multiple times and he was so good with her. My son has also seen him many times. He has also helped me out. He goes above and beyond. You just couldn’t find a better dr!!

Positive experience: Barry Smith is a wonderful provider, multiple family members and myself have always had a great experience with him. 5 stars every time! However I had a terrible experience with Guy Schmidt. I came in with a complaint that my shoulder was repeatedly dislocating (doing simple daily tasks) after an injury, despite multiple rounds of months of physical therapy. He ordered a bone scan as well as 2 MRIs and found no sign of tears. You know what he told me? He thought I was purposely dislocating it for attention. Are you kidding me? Then I was referred to a specialist surgeon in Park City, UT for a labrum repair and you know what he found when they got in there? A tear almost completely through my labrum that was indeed able to be fixed with surgery. I would never recommend Guy Schmidt after that experience.

Negative experience: Why schedule someone with a PA just to make them come back to see surgeon?? What's the point of a PA?? I guess you get more mo ey for your failing hospital. You have 2 sets of x-rays, cat scan and mri. What the he'll else do you want?? Thanks for bleeding us dry before surgery!

Fantastic experience: They always know what to do

Negative experience: I was referred for a shoulder/arm riding injury. Was diagnosed as arthritis and given PT excersises. Given a cortizone shot after 2 wks. 10 days later arm was swollen and pain so bad I could no longer pick up a coffee cup. Spoke to nurse who parroted the plan for PT and doctor would see me in a month. Tried to convince her that I needed to see doctor sooner but kept parroting. Cancelled both PT and appt. My concerns need to be taken seriously and so should yours. Go at own risk.

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to get Chris B for my PT. Kind, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. All the exercises were tailored for me. He is extremely proficient in dry needling, and that has done me wonders. Can’t suggest him enough

Fantastic experience: My experience has been awesome! Front desk staff are very kind and helpful. Nursing staff very compassionate. My surgeon Barry Smith and his PA Troy performed wonders on my wrist. Troy is very intelligent and showed compassion towards my situation and needs. Ruth in the billing department was outstanding, went out of her way to provide documetation I needed. And lastly, (Robin I believe) in medical records went above and beyond to get my medical records in a timely fashion! Records were received the next day! I highly recommend having surgery here!
