Fantastic experience: No longer need to get pain blocks thanks to Vestavia Spine and Rehabilitation. I threw my back out pretty bad, and they were able to see me the day I called, after the first visit I was felling 70% better then when I walked in the door. By week two I felt 100% better. And no medication or pain block was needed. Thank you!

Negative experience: They told me they checked my insurance and I was able to come in three times for free. A $600 plus bill came in for 3 visits. I was thinking they were covered. I can’t afford $200+ a visit. They agreed to reduce the bill but every month it never changed. I called each month to resolve the issue 4 times. I told them I would pay when they would fix the bill like the agreed. When they finally fixed it they sent a letter saying they sent me to collections. The doctor was nice but the billing department is a disaster.

Fantastic experience: My family has used Dr Spurlock and his PT Team for years. Dr Spurlock is kind, personable and puts you at ease immediately and he truly cares for all his patients. He has prior experience in Neurology as well. I have a back injury that involved 9 vertebrae and live in chronic nerve pain. Surgery is high risk. I have been able to reduce a great deal of pain through his treatments and adjustments. There is hope for some relief, I highly recommend him. -Blessings <><

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tom Spurlock, without question, saved my life. I was in so much much in my lower back that I could barely walk, or stand up from sitting. That level of pain made me lose the joy in my life. Well, I made an appointment at Alabama Spine and Rehab and basically, I just showed up for the appointment. Dr. Spurlock met with me and we discussed my physical limitations. Within 30 minutes of our discussion, he had made an appointment for me to get an MRI (which the MRI office is around the corner)......I went next door, had the MRI on my lower back. Then directly afterwards, went back to his office and found out I had a herniated L4. He adjusted my back which gave me HUGE relief, which I had not had in a longtime. He has such a kind and gentle manner and I felt completely taken care of. His staff of Physical Therapists and office support treated me like family - so kind and comforting. One week later, Dr. Spurlock set up a pain block for my L4. with great pain doctor and after that pain block I really experienced progress in healing. I am not a big fan of taking pain medicine so Dr. Spurlock is the perfect doctor for me. He treats the actual cause of the pain verses medicating it. Dr. Spurlock, without knowing it, took me from a person who could barely walk, to a person who now exercises regularly, and is happy! So, Dr. Spurlock really did save my life.....my life is better, fuller, more active. GOD BLESS YOU Dr. Spurlock!!!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter was getting married and 5 days before the wedding I couldn't move my arm it was getting worse. I called Dr. Spurlock ' s office they got me in right away and had me completely healed in 3 days!!! If I could give 10 stars I would !
