Fantastic experience: I had vertigo for approximately 6 weeks total which put me in bed most of that time. A friend of mine told me about a physical therapist, by the name is Sam at Denali Physical Therapy, who does wonderful work with my condition. I called and made an appointment but Sam was out of the office for a few days. So I worked with Jessie and an intern from Nebraska, who did a good job but could not get the crystals to elevate the vertigo. When Sam came back to work he took over and within 3 treatments I was clear of the vertigo and released. I would recommend Sam Lucus and Denali whole heartedly and if the vertigo ever returns I will definitely seek out Sam again.

Fantastic experience: Looking for a great physical therapist? Check out Sam Lucas at Denali Physical Therapy. With a recent doctorate in vestibular rehabilitation, Sam worked with me twice weekly on balance and reducing my risk of falling. Sessions were challenging. Also creative and fun. Sam is always thinking of new ways to help clients. With his great sense of humor, he makes workouts play and gives high-fives for effort and success. He relishes cooking, hikes, and growing things, and can discuss King Arthur flour and vegetarian food alongside soccer and music. He’s culturally up on everything. The facility is spacious with lots of room for everyone and the latest equipment. The staff are collaborative. You can feel the good spirit in the air. Everyone is ready to help, from Katie at the front desk to all the other assistants who made me laugh while I practiced safe ways to fall. I gained strength and confidence while being teased into taking on bigger challenges that expanded my outlook and my world. I looked forward to appointments and left each session stronger and more able to navigate my world with balance challenges. Sam works with many Anchorage medical personnel and is quick to follow up on things that would benefit his clients. I can’t say enough good things about Denali Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I've been to several physical therapy clinics since my chronic pain began years ago. Denali Physical Therapy on Boniface is among the best of the best! Their cohesive team listens well, answers questions, and genuinely cares about each patient's recovery. The therapists demonstrated their knowledge and experience as they customized and honed my treatment plan to ensure I was on the best possible path to address my pain and discomfort. I appreciate that they routinely print out instructions, and provide links to online videos, that I can refer to while doing exercises at home. They seem to enjoy their work and take genuine pride in improving the lives of their patients. If you want a friendly clinic with skilled and caring professionals, I highly recommend Denali Physical Therapy on Boniface Parkway in Anchorage.

Fantastic experience: These guys know their stuff and know how to make your recovery, however long or short, as enjoyable as it can be. Had to come in multiple times a week for a couple of months and there were times it was the high light of my week. They were laser focused on pain management first and then after that, when the work was hard, did an amazing job making that hard work fun and enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: I had a shoulder injury (rotator cuff) due to being a UAA student athlete back in April of last year towards the end of our season, sadly. I endured months of pain & discomfort (3 months) that limited my range of motion and daily sleep. I finally made the decision in the fall to open up to my primary care doctor at providence about it. She referred me to Denali Physical Therapy, and it was the BEST decision I could have made! I had 2 sessions a week for about 2-3 months. August-October. I had a wonderful experience from the get-go. Print outs of my appointments for reminder. Front desk Receptionist, Kate was awesome and very friendly each visit with a big smile. The physical therapist assistant that started me on my warm up exercise out of my hour appointment, Ronell (Former UAA student I had class with) is great too. Lastly, the two physical therapists at this location are really knowledgeable, easy-going, and are extremely helpful with your concerns and needs. We always had great conversations, and it was engaging my entire session. I was sad at my last appointment, because I made it a weekly routine (but I got a T-SHIRT)! Overall, GREAT experience. Highly recommend to everyone in the Anchorage area that are in need of doing physical therapy. My shoulder has gotten so strong over those 2-3 month of consistency, it’s mind-blowing. ZERO pain, and I was able to intensify my exercise regime after my shoulder was stronger again. I was SO happy, after months of being stuck to boring cardio that I wasn’t accustomed too due to poor condition/pain in my rotator cuff (which also contributed to my weight gain after a couple months). Happy to say im doing awesome these day’s, my student athlete days are over (hopefully) I don’t get injured again anytime soon, but if I do - this is the place where I’ll be coming too AGAIN, lol. 5 stars & beyond.

Fantastic experience: After having both knees replaced (two separate operation) I had the pleasure of doing me physical therapy at DPT on Boniface. They were GREAT! Two ginormous thumbs up for those folks! Seriously, super PT peps!
