Prestige Care and Rehabilitation Center of Anchorage is a skilled nursing and rehab community of Anchorage dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of its residents and patients.

Located near several local hospitals in NE Anchorage. Our highly trained staff is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of each individual – offering a comprehensive range of care solutions tailored to each patient’s unique care needs.

Whether you need post-acute care after an unplanned hospitalization or recovery assistance after a planned surgery, Prestige Care and Rehabilitation Center of Anchorage is here to support you with all your clinical and rehabilitation needs. Our Therapy teams are committed to providing an individualized treatment plan with the goal of helping each patient get back to doing the things that are most important to them.

Our Clinical Teams are skilled and experienced in assisting patients in a wide range of diagnoses while offering continued support throughout the healing process. Our Clinical Team is comprised of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Dietitian, and Certified Nursing Assistants. In addition to short-term post hospitalization care, our center offers specialty skilled nursing and long-term/ongoing care when a patient’s care needs are no longer able to be met at a lower level of care.

Positive experience: The nurses get a 5 star rating but the management gets a 1. The nurses were awesome, but the management and their rules dealing with Hospice patients with Covid was horrid. Think twice if you are on Hospice and your using them for Respite Care. Find out their policy if your loved one gets Covid while they are there.

Fantastic experience: Very good nursing and some of the best CNA I ever had in the 13 plus years I have been going to hospitals . PT , OT & RA have been a big help to seeing a light at the end of this journey . GOD bless and keep the Prestige staff always . Jay

Fantastic experience: I've been a resident for several years now. This place has been a godsend. If I had to place a family member in a facility for care this would be the first place I would turn. Great staff and excellent care. This place is a home more than a hospital.

Fantastic experience: Kind, compassionate staff. Hard working nurses and genuinely caring administration. PT is out of this world. I have worked in health care for many years and have never worked with such conscientious staff before. No one ever wants or plans to need skilled nursing care, but if it was to happen to my own family or myself, I would not hesitate to recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: The staff is kind and helpful. The Activities Director is cheerful and works well with residents and visitors. I am a volunteer and say the rosary with Catholics every Monday.

Positive experience: I have worked around healthcare facilities for a while now. Over the years I have seen some amazing teams brought down by a few careless people. Some have been honest mistakes, some not. This doesn't help when your parents are the ones suffering. I am a short timer and am passing through. This building has some amazing, compassionate people. From housekeeping to nursing staff, everyone has made me feel welcome. More importantly, they have made your family member feel loved. I have seen family of residents grieving, lashing out, taking out their pain on staff members. It's hard to watch. But it's part of the job. It's not always easy for us seeing our parents this way. We become super critical. It's our parent after all. We want to protect them. I've read these bad reviews and they sound awful. But they don't give the other side of the story. HIPAA privacy rules don't allow healthcare facilities to discuss these cases. They can't defend themselves, but they can continue to improve. I've seen improvements in management, in staff, in training, in support. This team continues to grow, to improve, to care. I'm leaving Alaska for my next adventure. I'm leaving behind my new Alaska family. I'm going to miss them. Anchorage Prestige Healthcare, you guys are awesome! You too Marty.
