San Joaquin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Fantastic experience: San Joaquin may not have all the frills and outer trappings of other places but most importantly the people really care. I want to know that my loved one is being cared for properly most above all else. I once heard a seasoned CNA say to a new hire "How would you feel if it was your mom?" She wanted to make sure the new gal knew they treated people like family there. I saw other CNAs singing and playing oldies on the guitar to the ladies. You should have seen the way these ladies lit up.

Fantastic experience: My grandma loves this place she is always so excited for the activities Amen does. She does such an amazing job putting all the arts and crafts together that its all my grandma talks about. Really happy my grandma has someone and something's to keep her uplifted n busy.

Our center is not to big but is a perfect size to make residents feel welcome and at home. We care about our residents and believe it’s important for them to know that their well being will always come first.

Fantastic experience: I have been working here for a little while like 4 months. But Honestly this is a great place I am the Activities Director. I’ll tell you something you will not be bored if you or your loved one comes here. We try our hardest to go above and beyond for our wonderful residents.

Fantastic experience: When my Mom was sent here for rehabilitation she got great care and although my mom can be very difficult the staff was very patient and encouraging. The Rehab Team is outstanding and I cant give enough praise to them and how well they work with my mother and most importantly getting her to walk again and strong enough to get back home. I also want to thank the amazing nursing staff for their care, business office manager for helping me with my mom's health insurance, and Social Service team for their hard work getting things set up for my mother's discharge back to her home making it a smooth transition.

Fantastic experience: This place has been the best decision for my brother. With all the activities offered to keep his mind active and a smile on his face. And he loves all the staff especially Sara the program coordinator.. these clients are loved and treated like family here..

Fantastic experience: most nursing homes do not have any activities fitting for the elederly, when I toured the facility recently this month, the patients were so excited to be involved in a large group activity, making corn tortillas. Activity dept really goes all out for their patients. Staff was friendly, nice, clean atmosphere

Fantastic experience: When my mom first arrived she was anxious at first but after a week I'm pleased to say shes more relaxed and is even making friends when she goes to activies.

Fantastic experience: Under new management and undergoing a lot of renovations and improvement. They are in the process of modernizing the interior and repainting all the rooms. The staff is great! I would definitely recommend bringing your loved ones here, they will take good care of them.

Fantastic experience: I brought my Aunt here and my aunt was taken well care of. She was very confused after surgery and could not go home safely. After the confusion resolved, much therapy and nursing care she got to come home! Nurses were very nice and therapy was great. Activities kept her entertained well. Overall my family and I were very great-full for the love and care she received. The place seemed like family. I would recommend this place over the others because she has been at 2 other places previously.

Fantastic experience: was there and very sick. the staff was great! people in the office were great! the head office people came by to see if i was taken care of. they talked to my family to see if there was any thing they could do for me or my family.

Fantastic experience: This facility is under new management. The team here is very positive and helpful, great environment. They have a great therapy department & a very awesome activities team. The building has a good appearance inside and out.
