The services we provide here at Foot & Ankle Institute include all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. We treat conditions from pediatric disorders to routine diabetic foot care to reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. The range of services we offer truly sets us apart.

Fluoroscopy is “live x-ray”. This allows your doctor to evaluate bones and joints under motion. Fluoroscopy is very useful in evaluating any type of trauma to the foot and ankle. Also, when injections are necessary, fluoroscopy allows for the precise placement of the medication with far less discomfort.

Our main office in Bakersfield is conveniently located in the Riverwalk Medical Plaza across the street from California State University, Bakersfield. We are affiliated with the Millennium Surgery Center, a fully licensed Medicare certified facility. Most patients requiring surgical procedures are able to receive care in an ambulatory surgical setting rather than in a hospital. We are also affiliated with the Bakersfield Memorial Hospital’s Center for Wound Care. Here we can provide state-of-the-art care for those patients needing extensive wound care treatment.

In addition to our Bakersfield location, we’ve had a practice in Tehachapi for over 25 years. We enjoy being a part of this community and look forward to providing many more years of podiatric care to Tehachapi Residents.

Surprisingly few of us are aware of the role that our feet play in supporting overall health and vitality. Often, other issues within the body will arise due to the neglect of foot and ankle health. This is why we offer you the most comprehensive care possible.

We use the most state-of-the-art technology available in order to get to the root of each patients concern. Our physicians have a wealth of combined experience and our friendly medical staff are focused solely on your comfort and care. Whether your concern requires an innovative, pioneering solution, or simply the continued care of a chronic condition; we are best equipped to tend to you.

Safety is our priority. We are exercising social distancing for our patients and team members. We are limiting entrance to the patient only and/or accompanied by a chaperone. Only necessary people will be allowed in. We ask that non-necessary people, wait in their vehicle.

If at any point you are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have an issue with your foot or ankle, please call the office for assistance. We will work with you over the phone to diagnose if you need to go to the emergency room or if there is something that we can do to before you need to leave your home.
