Athletico Physical Therapy - Cincinnati (University Square)

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend this location more! Brandon and the staff are phenomenal. Not only did they help me achieve my goals (heal my injury in time to run the NYC marathon), but they made physical therapy so enjoyable and fun! Fantastic experience: I came to Brandon and his team at Athletico this past December after having very little success at Christ hospital Physical therapy for 3 months. I had a gastrocnemius release of my left leg and was barely able to move my ankle or walk without pain. From the first day Brandon was very professional and took the time to understand my injury and the pain I was experiencing and got to know me as a person. This allowed him to tailor a unique therapy plan to get me back to normal and walking/running without pain and he did exactly that. I would recommend Brandon and his team to anyone that is struggling with their current PT situation or not seeing progress in their recovery. I am happy we crossed paths and now I can get back to my life pain free. Thank you Brandon

Fantastic experience: The Athletico team is an caring, highly educated group of people that not only reduced the effects of a life changing injury but upon finishing the sessions, sent me on my way with the tools to continue gaining strength and agility.

Fantastic experience: Patient did not know what to expect. He hurt, he wasn't sure what he could do, he had doubts about the whole endeavor. After weeks of PT, he states he gained confidence he was going to heal, go back to work and be as normal as possible. He completes today fully confident of returning to work armed with ways and practice to prevent injuries and better care of his physical body. Fantastic experience: Went for tendonitis injuries that had been lingering for months. Not only did I recover to my baseline, but I feel as if I’ve exceeded it. I received treatment mostly from Brandon but also from Heidi. Both were friendly and diligent - modifying workout plans to meet my needs. I’ve even received a personalized warmup routine to help prevent any similar injuries in the future. I’ll be recommending all my friends to come here!

Fantastic experience: All the staff is great. I worked with Brandon mostly, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I have had back pain for years on and off that finally reached a point I couldn’t ignore, and the work at Athletico has made me feel like a new man. Insurance is easy to get on board with the help from the team, and I would recommend anyone come if they have any issues with pain.

Fantastic experience: I had a burst of therapy with both Heidi and Brandon for sciatica-like pain and neck shoulder pain/tightness that has been chronic. I can not rave about this office or the whole team here enough! Zach at the front desk is so helpful and professional and Heidi and Brandon are talented and insightful. Feeling so much better and I feel at peace knowing I have the tools I need to continue strengthening at home and limit chronic pain and discomfort.

Fantastic experience: I’ve tried chiropractors and massage therapy for my chronic back issues with no help. As soon as I walked into the doors I knew I would get the help I needed. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable. They took the time to really listen to my issues and address exactly what was needed.

Fantastic experience: Honestly could not ask more out of the people and results at this clinic! I looked forward to seeing my PT, Brandon, and Zack, at the front desk, every week. I came to Athletico with a strained upper hamstring 6 weeks out from running my first marathon. Brandon took my recovery very seriously, making my goals his own. Although he initially said this injury can take 6-8 weeks to fully heal, I was able to finish 26.2 miles last week thanks to his help. Achieving this goal meant so much to me, and I will always be grateful for the care Brandon (and everyone at the clinic) took with my case.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of receiving physical therapy treatment for six weeks at the Cincinnati (University Square) location and I am delighted to share my experience. I am writing this review to highly recommend this location to anyone in need of physical therapy services. Brandon was my physical therapist, and I found his approach towards care to be excellent. He kept the sessions fun and encouraging while providing a high level of care. Additionally, Heidi, another physical therapist at this location, is equally outstanding. Despite the clinic being busy, I always felt like the team gave me their undivided attention. I was impressed to learn that the clinic trains student PTs, which added another level of support to my care. A shout-out to Grant who was always so helpful. The support staff were also kind and supportive. Scheduling appointments with Zach was easy and effortless. They were very accommodating to my schedule, even when I needed to reschedule an appointment. Overall, I highly recommend this facility as the place to go for your physical therapy needs. If you're looking for a welcoming environment with a caring and professional team, this location is a great choice.

Fantastic experience: This Athletico location has a great staff that really helped my recovery from an ankle fracture. My PT Jason is knowledgeable about injuries and the stages of healing & tailors your exercises to the appropriate stage of healing. He’s unfailingly pleasant and attentive and gives the best massages post-exercise! When the knee on my uninjured leg started hurting, he taped it, which gave me great relief! The UC student who often assisted (Grant) is a joy to be around. The receptionist, Wanda, is pleasant & helpful. I highly recommend the Athletico near UC!

Fantastic experience: I tore my PCL in January and have been going to therapy to Athletico for almost 4 months now. In those 4 months, they have kept me on track to achieve more than I thought I could going into the injury. I suggest that if you are a student needing physical therapy, this is the place to go. Easy to get to and from when close to campus. If you’re not a student, I still suggest you consider going to Athletico because the therapists are very helpful and want to do what is best for you. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Athletic-University Square was an excellent location for physical therapy on my chronic sore right shoulder. Brandon provided an in depth analysis of my condition, a recommended treated plan, and ongoing modifications/challenges to the plan as I progressed through 13 sessions. My shoulder feels much stronger. I am more confident in doing routine plus challenging activities. My pain is gone in most cases and greatly reduced in others. I completed my sessions with an exercise plan to continue on my own. Brandon was always very positive, he continually checked on my condition, and challenged me to make the most of each physical therapy session. He was very personal, answered all my questions, and gave me almost undivided individual attention. The facility was clean and well maintained. I would recommend Brandon and the University Square facility to others.

Fantastic experience: Jason was incredibly friendly and professional. He was very experienced in the four months of therapy employed to help me recover from shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum. We was positive, encouraging and knew just what to do during each phase of the recovery. I would highly recommend this company and location.

Fantastic experience: I came in for my left shoulder after a distal clavicle excision surgery. I was told it would be between 3-4 months before back to normal. I told Brandon “don’t take it easy on me” and 2 months later I’m already discharged and cleared to get back in the gym. Not only was it fast, but Brandon and the rest of the staff are great people who like to have fun while still working hard. I looked forward to my appointments every week. Athletico > Beacon.

Fantastic experience: Had a knee surgery clean out on Nov 9 at Beacon. Everything went well. Surgeon said it would be a 3 month rehab before playing pickleball again. Worked with Dr. Brandon Bowers at the Athletico Clifton office. His attentive manor and customized PT plan got me back on the pickleball court in 2 months! Recovery was 33% faster than predicted. Beacon surgeon was pleased with my recovery.

Fantastic experience: I have been to physical therapy multiple times throughout my life and I can easily say that this was by far my best experience. I felt welcomed and cared for throughout the whole process and of course came out feeling better then ever!
