Athletico Physical Therapy - Cincinnati (Oakley)

Fantastic experience: Caring and knowledgeable PT. This is (hips then ankle) my 2nd time going to Oakley Athletico. When I had ankle repair surgery and needed rehab. I knew I wanted to go to Athletico. They care about each patient and their goals.

Fantastic experience: My entire experience at the Cincinnati Oakley Athletico Physical Therapy was the best. Along with the excellent physical therapy, there was great hospitality, genuine conversation, and good humor. All the treatment was carefully explained and my many questions were answered in a winsome and understandable way. I was surely helped from my sessions and given a clear exercise path to follow after my sessions were completed. I highly recommend Cincinnati Oakley Athletico.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had to got to Athletico Oakley for two separate injuries and had a great program of treatment each time. All the PTs are very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Awesome place! I would highly recommend Athletico in Oakley. I had shoulder surgery in December for an AC joint repair. My PT Aaron was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. The whole staff was super friendly, very positive and great to be around. I highly recommend visiting Athletico for your PT needs.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended here by a friend for a shoulder injury from climbing and made significant progress in my recovery after receiving great care from Heather and Emily who were both wonderful to work with. They are very knowledgeable and incredibly kind. My shoulder improved on a weekly basis while coming for appointments, and I am back to climbing! I also appreciated how friendly and helpful Salem the front desk receptionist always was. I would recommend for anyone looking for a PT!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff is incredible and compassionate. Emily was able to relieve my back pain and educate me about how to prevent further injury within a really short amount of time. I no longer fear doing the activities I love, and I can’t express how much I appreciate Athletico’s support. I enjoyed every appointment I had with them!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Athletico Oakley to ANYONE looking for physical therapy needs! The PTs are knowledgeable and able to explain the “whys” and “hows” in an approachable manner. The atmosphere is really fun- even though you’re working hard. I mostly worked with Aaron, and am so thankful for his guidance. I started PT for peroneal tendinitis that made walking 5ft painful. But after 12 or so weeks, I’m pain-free and able to chase around my 3 boys. Aaron is the best (they all are)!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Athletico for two months for a shoulder injury - I’m now returning to my sport stronger than before. I loved everyone at Athletico and received care tailored to my abilities and needs. This was my second injury this year, but the first that required PT. Injuries are always hard, but they’re WAY easier with support from people who care. (Thank you Emily, Heather, Sam, Kara, Lisa, Aaron, and Salem <3)

Fantastic experience: I tore my ACL and meniscus and attended Athletico for about 7 months. I Could not recommend this place more. Aaron was an incredible physical therapist. He was not only enjoyable to work with but pushed me to reach my full ability with weekly exercise routines. I am fully confident in the strength of my knee as I leave Athletico. The whole Athletico community and physical therapists are extremely welcoming and I am so thankful to have had them during such a difficult recovery process!

Fantastic experience: Great staff - very polite and extremely knowledgeable. They are much more than just helping me recover from injury, I have been going for several weeks to work on my golf performance and have noticed significant improvement in my golf game in just a few short weeks. Would definitely recommend for any golfer that wants to fine tune their swing!

Fantastic experience: Heather S at Athletico is great. I worked with her for about 2-3 months to rehab a painful leg issue (which she successfully helped to fix). It was easy to schedule appointments, Heather was always on time, and the facility is extremely clean (they clean the tables and equipment after every individual use). She tracked all strengthening progress and when I finished, gave me some take home exercises to ensure my leg issue doesn’t happen again. It is a very welcoming environment as well, the administrative staff and other PTs are a high performing team and great to be around. I would definitely see Heather and use Athletico again in the future.

They take great care to help you through your healing process in a wonderful, congenial and compassionate way. Fantastic experience: was disappointed by beacon and decided to come here after my injury was still persisting. all the PTs were so wonderful, welcoming, encouraging, accepting, and helpful. They really listened to my concerns and helped me with exercises to strengthen and stretch what I needed that I could continue working on at home. they were very attentive to all of their patients and you could tell they really are wanting to help make everyone better. lots of positivity. really reccomend the athletico team to anyone looking for PT!

Fantastic experience: I recently hurt my shoulder and was sent to Athletico in Oakley for physical therapy. I didn't think it would do any good. But I was so wrong. The PT's at Athletico were so kind and caring. I was assigned Heather and Emily, they were truly excellent. They came up with a series of exercises and stretches that really turned my should pain around. After 6 weeks, my pain is basically gone. Jenny was fantastic about scheduling around my crazy schedule. I would wholeheartedly recommend Athletico Oakley to anyone who is dealing with pain. My day to day therapist, Emily, was just finishing up her education, she has a great future ahead of her in her field. Thank you all at Athletico Oakley, well done.

Fantastic experience: As a college student with an extremely packed schedule, Athletico Oakley could not have made it any easier getting here, getting treated, and accommodating my every need. Not a single face without a smile and all of the information they had was very easy to understand. Fantastic experience: This is my first experience with PT for myself, it was great! I felt like I made appropriate progress in a relatively short amount of time. Each session brought relief and built strength and confidence back up. I looked forward to going each time knowing I was going to be heard and cared for. I ended my time with home exercises that have helped me continue to get stronger. Now I am a few weeks out and I still feel great. I worked with Aaron and Ben, both were great! Fantastic experience: Heather and Aaron are both very knowledgeable physical therapists and helped me diagnose and recover from a neck/shoulder strain. The training exercises and stretches were super helpful in my recovery and I still use them on a daily basis even after completing my therapy. I’d also recommend trying dry needling if you have tight muscles, I was happy with the results from that.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best PT practice I have used in Cincinnati! My therapist works one on one with me, and possesses extremely thorough knowledge of each step of of post-surgery rehab. She is also very clear and articulate when explaining aspects of the recovery. In addition, the staff has done an amazing job of staying on top of any insurance glitches—going to bat for me when visits were denied .Very nice people in a bright space—can’t say enough about Athletico Oakley.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the Oakley Athletico since November of 2022 when I tore my Achilles. Heather, Aaron, Jenny, and team have not only been professional & communicative, they've been honestly invested in my recovery. Furthermore, they've created an open and enjoyable environment in which to recover and strengthen my bum leg. I plan to continue to see them in the future for issues with my plantar fasciitis, and would recommend them to anyone looking for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Heather and the entire team were awesome! I have been to a number of PT places over the years for my chronic hamstring injury. From my evaluation to my last visit, Heather always explained the short and long term plan , and included me in the course of treatment. I could tell she really cared about my progress and how effective the PT was to getting me back to my normal activities. The staff were all super friendly, and the atmosphere was professional but also upbeat and fun! This was the first time I didn’t dread going to physical therapy, and my hamstring feels better than it has for a long time! I strongly recommend them to anyone who needs their services!

Fantastic experience: The staff are excellent. Heather helped to diagnose my problem and then helped me to maintain my lifestyle and activities through a diagnosis, surgery, and then rehabilitation afterwards. Jenny was always trying to help fit my appointments into my schedule. I really cannot give this group enough praise. I was a patient for 5 months. If I ever need PT again, this is where I'm going.

Fantastic experience: I have had 3 knee surgeries from 2007 - 2013 and I never thought I would be able to run free of pain, let alone have little to no swelling and fluid in both knees. I began going to Heather Schradin to try before my going to my Ortho doc. She helped me with some quad strengthening exercises, stretches, and corrected my running firm and within a month, I was running (3miles) pain free and almost no swelling.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Athletico by my doctor after having right shoulder surgery. The staff at the Oakley location are kind, patient, knowledgeable and professional. My physical therapists Shelby Metz and Aaron Burns took time to explain all exercises that they had me do and why I was doing them. They understood my limitations in the beginning and encouraged me to push myself at the end of my PT. I owe so much to Shelby and Aaron. I cant thank them enough for all they have done for me in my rehab from my surgery. I would recommend Athletico to any of my family and friends who have surgery or need physical therapy. Fantastic experience: Heather and the entire staff here are amazing. She was able to pinpoint where my leg pain was coming from fairly quickly when several doctors and other PTs were befuddled. She is so kind and caring on top of being an excellent physical therapist. My pain and my quality of life have improved tremendously and I owe it all to Heather.

Fantastic experience: I have so much to say about Athletico Oakley that I don’t think I can fit it all in this review!! If you are looking for physical therapists that are kind, actually care about you and treat you like family, this is the place. I worked with Heather and Aaron for 2 sessions on my knees and shoulder pain caused by my rheumatoid arthritis. I was diagnosed with my condition 10 years ago and my pain has only gotten worse with time. After spending 2 sessions at Athletico in Oakley, I gained more flexibility with my joints and they alleviated a lot of pain that has been a huge burden over the years. I have never had such improvement just strictly using prescription medication. From my initial evaluation to the very last day, Heather worked one on one with me and explained how my joints were working, what was causing my general issues, and provided me with the tools I needed to carry on my workouts/physical training at home. I cannot emphasize enough how much she has done for me and my condition. I actually have pain free days now! And I also made a lot of new friends who I continue to visit for guidance on my health and wellness goals. Thank you so much Athletico!! P.S. thank you for the birthday card last month too! Fantastic experience: Very friendly and helpful people at Athletico. I unfortunately had to have 2 opposite shoulder surgeries within 4 months of each other and thankfully Heather and crew are helping me get through this ordeal. Unlike previous therapy where the environment felt cold and sterile, Oakley Athletico very quickly made me feel like they’ve known me for a long time and genuinely care for my recovery. My only complaint, find Emily (PT in training) a full time position. She is absolutely awesome!!!

Fantastic experience: This is a wonder and affordable facility with a great staff. Excellent communication with billing/scheduling and great bedside manner. Heather and I worked together to develop a treatment that would suit my needs and she really took the time to listen and understand the physical demands of a performing artist. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, educating me along the way. The office was kept clean and equipment was wiped down after each use; safe, welcoming and professional environment. Highly recommend, especially for other performing artists in the area!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Athletico working with Heather. This is a beautiful clinic and everyone I encountered was friendly and made me feel welcome. For the last year, I suffered with severe pain that disrupted my sleep nightly and diminished my quality of life. After treating with Heather, my pain is gone. She taught me so many exercises that I will continue forever to keep my pain from returning. I highly recommend this location!

Fantastic experience: Heather was a wonderful PT, providing all the needed information about my treatment plan, what to expect and what I need to do to heal as quickly as possible and stay healthy. All the practicalities of scheduling were handled with aplomb by Jenny, the organized and friendly office manager. Facility was well-kept and all equipment cleaned after every use. Heather and Jenny were uniformly warm, friendly and very helpful, making the PT experience fun and effective.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend going with Athletico for your physical therapy needs. I especially loved working with Heather at the Oakley location the last 2 months. I had a unexpected shoulder injury and when I reached out to Athletico Jenny made it super easy for me to get scheduled. Not only did Heather help me get better but she also motivated me during my time there. Plus the facility is really nice with new and updated equipment. Jenny and Heather work together to keep everything clean and follow Covid 19 protocol to keep me safe during my visit. I would happily go to them again if I have any future needs!

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility in a great location. Heather was an integral part of my healing and recovery. She educated me about my injury and gave me tips on what I could and couldn’t do (to prevent further injury). She walked me through the exercises and therapy, which helped my torn bicep recover (to the extent it can) and regain strength in the shoulder joint. Since going to this facility and working with Heather, I’ve made tremendous progress. I’m so thankful I found Athletico!

Heather is an excellent listener and communicator - such helpful skills when a PT is giving instructions for exercises to do at home. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this Oakley Athletico location with Heather as the PT. I came here after two surgeries on right knee, dependent on a walker and with a brace. Before Athletico, I had been to other PTs without much progress. Five weeks later on my last day, I walked out with no walker, brace, or cane. Heather is a wonderful, empathetic, and knowledgeable PT. I firmly believe my recovery was successful because of Heather. Jenny as office admin is friendly and helpful and a fun personality. Again, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Wasn't sure initially how PT would improve my referred condition in lieu of surgery.
