Fantastic experience: Andrea was very responsive to my text . I wanted to be her new patient but right now she is not accepting new patients will reach out again once she starts accepting new patient. She seemed very genuine . Thank you for your response. I appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: I love Andrea's expertise, compassion, dry needling skills and down to earth style. She makes you feel important and takes time to listen. As a LPT myself I highly recommend Andrea. My tendonitis was keeping me up at night as,well as LBP. I am happy to say after 6 sessions I've been sleeping without waking and my low back pain is better. The exercises are spot on. I learned where I was weak and compensating. After awhile I was able to utilize the correct muscle groups for optimal performance without doing the exercises. Andrea helps you regain strong mobility and reclaim your life

Fantastic experience: Andrea has been helping me with a shoulder pain that I haven't been able to overcome for around 8 months. After 2 visits, I have seen significant progress. Andrea is very caring, and listens to your issue. She combines her dry needling with physical therapy to solve the source of the issue. Highly Recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had been experiencing knee pain for months, and chose to visit Andrea for some help. After a thorough evaluation she provided me with the appropriate exercises and did some dry needling on my leg. After being able to squat without the knee pain for the first time in about 8 months, I started sobbing from happiness in her room. Her bedside manner was amazing, she was so patient and kind and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Andrea is fantastic!! I had a torn labrum in my shoulder that was still causing my pain after months of physical therapy and I really did not want to get surgery. She was able to identify why I was still having some pain and with dry needling she fixed it!! I am so happy and could not recommend her more! I was very hesitant about dry needling, but Andrea walked me through the whole process and calmed my anxieties. I am so glad I did it and that I am no longer having any pain!

Fantastic experience: Andrea is so fantastic at what she does! She makes you feel right at home and is so knowledgeable and skilled at her craft. The dry needling is an incredibly unique experience with incredible results. Each time I go, it gets easier to recover and the benefits last longer and longer between sessions. Don't hesitate to check this place out for sure, I can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic PT and works magic with her needles. A busy job and several “meathead” hobbies cause some annoyances but Andrea keeps me moving well and feeling great.

Fantastic experience: Andrea is very knowledgeable, and an expert with dry needling. I was nervous to try dry needling, but I am so glad I did. I left feeling amazing and can’t wait to go back for more dry needling.

Fantastic experience: After visiting with another physical therapist for back and shoulder pain for several months, I was not getting any noticeable results. A friend mentioned dry needling and recommended Andrea. I owe this friend a big thanks. After my first visit, I was finally feeling relief in my lower back. She gives thorough assessments listens attentively to what is affecting you. Andrea is not only professional, she is a delight to be around. I immediately felt totally safe and comfortable, and my back really cannot recommend her strongly enough.

Fantastic experience: I've tried physical, massage, chiropractic and acupuncture therapy. Dry needling is the only treatment that alleviated years of shoulder and neck pain. Thank you Andrea!

Fantastic experience: Andrea worked me into her very busy schedule and did wonders for my painful shoulder. She also prescribed doable PT exercises for me and explained everything she was doing. Highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: Let me start with I have a major issue with needles and such, as in I pass out at the doctor for blood work, but when you are in pain you will accept any form of relief. I have been dry needled by a few people and no one does quite the job as Andrea. She has made me realize my pain is not 'in my head' as several doctors have tried to tell me. She is a magician in finding those sweet spot that need to be released. She truly listens to you and wants to find the root of your paint or discomfort. Dry needling has changed my life and I can't imagine never getting the courage to experience it. If you have chronic pain I highly recommend Andrea. She will treat what she knows she can and recommend any other options if necessary.

Fantastic experience: Andrea did an incredible job dry needling my legs. She’s very professional and was able to break up the tightness in my legs that no massage or stretch were able to help. I highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: I FELT 90% BETTER AFTER ONE VISIT. The second visit, my lower back was 100%. I thought I was at a dead end with lower back pain. After TWO years of trying chiropractors with no success, I finally found Andrea. DRY NEEDLING is the way to go! Her experience, talent, and knowledge healed me. I can finally do normal things a 22yr old should be able to do. She has taught me so many things.

Fantastic experience: As a dancer for Cincinnati Ballet, Andrea kept me healthy and able to train and perform at my highest level. I didn't know I could get as comfortable with someone sticking needles in me as I am with her - Andrea's dry needling is highly effective. Her table-side manner is wonderful, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone looking to treat and recover their body!

Fantastic experience: Andrea is simply incredible!! I have seen her repeatedly for dry needle therapy ... I have my life back. When we started, I had been fighting numerous injuries for almost a year with little relief. Traditional physical therapy works, but it is a slow process. I am an avid physical competitor, so I kept adding injuries faster than I could heal them. I discovered Andrea and dry needle therapy ... it has been a game changer. One session with needles, for me, is worth months of traditional physical therapy. If in doubt, doubt no more. Try it, you will be amazed. She is excellent, extremely well trained and very compassionate. She has literally helped me have a life again. My competition performance has also increased, moving from below middle to the top 10% in my game ... Thanks so much Andrea!! Perhaps the most significant ... I injured my back 32 years ago, and from that day forward never had a pain free day. With Andrea's help, I have gone from not being able to stand more than 5 minutes or walk more than 200 yards at its worst, to now not even being aware of the injury. And I have had some pain free days ... I cannot thank her enough ...

Fantastic experience: I was truly impressed by Andrea's care to help her patients, she spent the time to accurately diagnose my problem. I have been to a number of physical therapy facilities but dealing with Andrea was completely at a different level.

Fantastic experience: This is not fluff promotion!... I am a former collegiate football player, a Veteran of 15 years service, and a powerlifter for 20 years. All of those things have wreaked havoc on my body, i.e., HIPS, glutes, neck, back, and much more. I have had dry needling done in the past, elsewhere, and I had some success, and some lack of success. But, I have been under Dr. Dre’s care for about six months now. With 100% honesty, every time she’s worked on me, I have felt drastically better and performed way better than anticipated. My worst pain comes from my left hip/glute. Let’s say it’s about level 10, worst pain I’ve ever felt, when it’s at its worst. After seeing the good doc, and a couple days recovery, I compete in powerlifting meets with ZERO pain, putting as much as a 1000lbs load on my hips. I really can’t praise her enough. She doesn’t just stick needles in you and hope for results. She’s methodical in her approach and caring about her effectiveness. She has also spent time trying to help me resolve my issues at the source, rather than just treating me for my symptoms. I will continue to see her for as long as I can foresee- even when my hips get better. If you need PT, want to resolve muscular weaknesses and pain, and/or just wanna feel what great feels like... see Dr. Andrea Cornell! Just don’t take up all the time slots. I still need my time with her!

Fantastic experience: I have dealt with chronic headaches in addition to neck, shoulder and back pain, for many years. I also have Multiple Sclerosis, with associated muscle spasms and weakness. In recent years, my lower back pain has been severe and often debilitating. After many years of failed treatments including traditional physical therapy, myofascial release, chiropractic, acupuncture, muscle relaxers, pain management (facet blocks, trigger point injections, SI joint injections), and all sorts of exercise programs, I was referred to Cornell PT by an acquaintance who had nothing but praise for dry needling. As a physician, I must admit I was a little skeptical about dry needling in general, but I figured I had nothing to lose. After my first treatment, I was no longer a skeptic!! I had real and significant relief from pain and muscle tightness after just one session, and just a few months into my treatment, I have made more progress than after three years of the treatments mentioned above. Dr. Cornell is knowledgeable, intuitive, thorough, dedicated, kind, and tenacious. She will not stop working on a treatment area until she gets the job done! She also does a wonderful job of incorporating traditional, targeted physical therapy strengthening techniques with her aggressive dry needling approach. Many of these are the same exercises I was given in the past, however now they are actually working because my muscles have been mobilized by the dry needling process. As a family physician, I would strongly recommend treatment with Andrea to anyone suffering from acute and/or chronic pain. Her comprehensive approach provides a safe, effective, and in many ways superior alternative to traditional medical treatments. You won't regret giving it a try!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to chiropractic and medical massage since 2011 and this literally was the best thing that has ever happened to me in terms of pain relief — and maybe mental relief. I’ve never felt more immediate and continual relief. It’s usually more immediate or long-term, but not both. Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: Andrea is the best! She is so personable and she has really helped me with my nagging IT band injury. I wouldn’t be healed without her!

Fantastic experience: Andrea's dry needling knowledge is unparalleled and she has an innate ability to A) pinpoint the tension spots in your body and B) get rid of them. Plus, Ruthie the Dry Needling Dog rules!

Fantastic experience: Great service. Best physical therapy and dry needling in the Tri-state area. Dr Cornell has gotten me out of pain and helped me perform at top level for the physical demands of my career and lifestyle. She is an All-Star

Fantastic experience: The verdict is in . . . I'm going back to Andrea! I've been dealing with doctors and pt's for the past year trying to get some relief from tendinitis in my shoulders/arms. Andrea took significant time to ask me questions about my pain and my lifestyle. She observed me moving and not moving. She assessed my strength. Then, after thoughtfully considering what she'd heard and seen, she expertly began the dry needling. Relief was instant. The pain in my shoulders is greatly diminished. I'm working out 2-3 times a week doing movements I haven't been able to do for a long time. I'm ready to go back to Andrea to continue the healing. Dry needling is working for me!

Fantastic experience: Andrea is a phenomenal PT. I have an entire family of physical therapists and have seen many in the past and Andrea is the best I’ve been to in Cincinnati. She is extremely kind and very knowledgeable. She is also a fantastic dry needles, she is very thorough with her needling and is an expert at getting local twitch responses. Out of every dry needler I’ve seen, she seems to hit exactly where I need it more than anyone else. Not to mention the dogs at the clinic are adorable. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Fantastic experience: I took a tumble down some stairs that resulted in my body being sore. A week later, after I was feeling better, I started getting horrific tension headaches. There seemed to be no clear trigger, and medicine was no longer effective. These headaches happened at least once a week. A friend recommended dry needle therapy and I figured I'd give it a try. Andrea was very helpful and knew exactly what to do. She was very kind and after only one session I've have no headaches and it's been two months. I can't recommend her enough! I WILL be going back for a second session soon!

Fantastic experience: I had been in physical therapy for months with no results whatsoever for an IT band issue. I love to run but I was unable to do so due to this injury. After literally two visits of dry needling I felt almost completely better. I wish I would have tried it sooner. I'm very thankful I decided to try it. I would recommend Andrea and dry needling to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Andrea’s treatments, exercises and dry needling therapies help me to stay doing the things I love most- being active with my children and lifting weights. Personally, I have found benefit in getting dry needled regularly as a preventative measure to aid in staying injury free! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Andrea for years for dry needling. She is the best. I have chronic back pain and my lower back from time to time gets very tight. I always come out of a needling session feeling looser. I would highly recommend Andrea for anyone with muscle pain, tightness or soreness.

Fantastic experience: I’ve dealt with lower back stiffness and pain for years. I tried dry needling for the first time with Andrea and it has provided significant relief and increased mobility. Andrea is knowledgeable and very personable. She patiently answers all my questions. Go see her.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Andrea for 3 years now and the impact she has had on my life and my family's lives cannot be overstated. For those that want to read a short review- she is a skilled physical therapist that listens and actually cares. She doesn't double and triple book just to pad her bottom line, it is one-on-one attention with a highly trained professional. She is also a gifted diagnostician. She found and addressed problems that have outclassed lesser professionals FOR YEARS. She is always learning and expanding her skills to take better care of those she treats. If you have a sprain, strain, nagging pain that won't go away, are wondering if you are going to end up having surgery or have any other musculoskeletal issues, do yourself a favor and go see her. I would bet my house you will be glad you did. Now, for those of you that like in depth reviews, please read on. To truly understand how phenomenal Andrea is, I feel like you need to know a bit about me. I have a lifetime of injuries from a lifetime of thinking I was badder than I actually am. I have been told i need surgery on both hips, possibly a replacement on 1, my neck, my shoulder, fusion on 15/s1 (retrolisthesis post discectomy), discectomy and possible fusion on l4/5. I have been on some form of pain med and/or a litany of supplements related to pain since about 2009. I have been to more than 100 medical professionals since 2004 when my current problems started to manifest. I have seen surgeons, physiatrists, physical therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and pain specialists. I say "more than 100 medical professionals" because when I got to 100 when I was counting I had to fight back tears and could not finish the count. Out of all those medical professionals I approve of exactly 3- my current GP, the surgeon that saved my leg and Andrea. My surgery count has peaked at 1 because of Andrea and Andrea only. I had resigned myself to a fusion and a severely limited range of motion and life, but then I found Andrea. I emailed every dry needling practitioner I could find on the internet and Andrea was one of the few that actually replied with more than a canned bit about scheduling an appointment. Most didn't reply at all. I emailed back and forth with Andrea and asked quite a few very specific and detailed questions and she responded with equally detailed answers. 1 PT I contacted said they do hip and hamstring and when I got there they told me they weren't trained in hip or hamstring. I have been to multiple practitioners that claim to do dry needling but it proved to be overpriced acupuncture. I have paid $300 PER TRIGGER POINT in the past. Andrea treats my entire system for less than what a single trigger point injection used to cost. I have been to dozens of dry needling practitioners and traveled up to 100 miles to get treatment. I have even tried to needle myself (it turns out it actually is a skill honed by true professionals). I have been able to eliminate nearly all supplements and meds for pain thanks to Andrea. I am exercising regularly for the first time in many years thanks to Andrea. I can be care free when I play with my children thanks to Andrea. I have been able to keep my job and support my family thanks to Andrea. I do not possess the words capable of describing how profound of an impact Andrea has had on my life. Stop reading and schedule the appointment. Go see Andrea. Feel better.

Fantastic experience: Andrea is amazing! I have had numerous injuries that she has helped me heal from....back, neck, jaw and now shoulder pain. She takes the time with you to show you exercises, answer all your questions and the dry needling really helps to loosen hard to reach knots!!! She is amazing, I would highly recommend her especially if you have tried massage and are still in pain.

Fantastic experience: I love Andrea. She is super personable and knows what she is doing. I have had dry needling done by a few other people in the past, but the way Andrea does it is totally different and worked so much better for me. She's was a game changer for me.

Fantastic experience: After an extended period of crippling lower back pain, I reached out to Dr. Cornell for assistance in pain relief and avoidance. Dr. Dre was absolutely fantastic. Her electronic dry needling was the fastest pain mitigation technique I've ever experienced. She also included some cupping therapy that felt amazing!! Going into the session I could barely walk and after an hour I felt like an entirely new person. Andrea is truly a practitioner that cares about her patients and takes the time to listen and help each individual. After hearing my story and finishing therapy, she offered some great stretching insight to hopefully prevent having to see her again. Hope I don't need Dr Cornell again, but know that if I do, I will be in good hands.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never had dry needling before. Andrea made it a great first experience! It helped a lot with my pain and swelling. She also makes evey physical therapy appointment extremely fun but challenging! Her exercises have really strengthened my injury.

Adam Santino 8 years ago

Fantastic experience: After years of kitchen work, I have been trying to work out shoulder, back, and neck pain to extremely limited success. Not even an hour of dry needling and I haven't felt better, amazing stuff. If you've been experiencing chronic pain or even minor discomfort, go here. You won't regret it.

Sue Kimbrell 8 years ago

Fantastic experience: Andrea is amazing! After years of writing on board, this teacher got to a point where I couldn't lift my arm up to write. After dry needling and pt exercises, I was as good as new.
