Dr. Patrick Shumrick BS, MHS, DPT, owner, recognized the need and has been treating people suffering from dizziness, vertigo, and balance deficits in 1995, opening The Center for Balance in 2003. Our proven assessment and treatment techniques are unique only to The Center for Balance.

Many of our patients come to The Center for Balance after going to a general or orthopedic physical therapy practice that did not have the time or expertise to address their specific neurological needs. Unfortunately, after time and money was spent, these patients felt no relief of their symptoms and realized they were not in the right place to address them
