Hands On Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing the staff at Hands On intermittently for several years now. I used to have to get cortisone shots in my back twice a year in order to deal with the pain from a bulging disc but their style of therapy has made it possible for me to forgo the shots. They teach you how to treat yourself at home with stretches and the like. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I have used them for at least 4 injuries and I am still a young pup at 42. They care, their knowledge is superb in their area of expertise. I completely trust them with my health and recovery!

Fantastic experience: Hands on Physical Therapy is our first choice for physical therapy. They do such a wonderful job there and they give you exercises amd stretches to do to become strong. I saw April for my knee. It was my patella tendon that was bothering me. April massages my muscles and she massaged my knee as well. April taped up my patella to help it rest well. The tape stayed on and I go back for another visit. If you don't have insurance you can also see them, it cost $90 to be seen without insurance. Fantastic experience: The therapists use myofascial release to help with pain and range of motion. It is nothing like other physical therapy regimens in that it ACTUALLY HELPS relieve pain and tightness.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Hands On Physical Therapy. After dealing with physicians, regular physical therapy, and chiropractors for 4 months, I was still in severe pain in my right buttock. Tonya evaluated me and immediately determined my hips were out of alignment and started with massages and stretches to help me move better. I also met with Amy and got immediate pain relief for the first time in months. I also had a sacrum that was twisted and that also improved. After just 7 sessions with Tonya, Amy, and Anika I am amazed at the progress I have made. I do the stretches they have given me. Which helps so much. I still have some more improvement to do but it is a true blessing to find Hands On!! I will recommend this as a first step in the future!!

Fantastic experience: We came to HOPT almost 2yrs ago, and it helped immensely. This type of PT is very hard to find, but results speak for themselves. There was treatment offered to post knee replacement surgery that made a huge change in everyday life. With exercises that Heather had assigned and her amazing hands on treatments, we couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Wish we knew about this place post hip replacement surgery, but Heather is skillfully addressing those issues as well, her experience and knowledge is very valuable in the care she provides. The office personnel is always welcoming, friendly, and supportive, pleasure to come there. We are very happy that we found this place and plan on continuing with therapy!

Fantastic experience: I have been a client for over 5 years and Hands On Physical Therapy is always my first recommendation to anyone who has pain! I first when to Hands On Physical Therapy for my herniated disc when the doctors said surgery was my only option. After treatment, I never needed surgery. Now, I always go back to Hands On PT for any pain I’m having. The therapists are able to target the real cause for my pain and then use a hands on approach to help relieve it. The Bodywork package is also very helpful for maintenance and no referral is needed for this treatment. The therapists and office staff at Hands On Physical Therapy are all very kind and knowledgeable and I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I suffer from fibromyalgia and the therapy that I receive here is the only thing that helps my pain. The front desk staff and physical therapists are very friendly and very knowledgeable in what they do.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client here at least three different times over the years. Currently I have been here while recovering from a back fusion and then another back surgery 3 months after due to complications. These therapists gave me such relief from pain that I know was not possible any other way. Pain medication didn't help me as much as they did. They kept me walking and smiling. What happened to after the surgery was no ones fault. It simply is my body that had the problem and Hands On helped me through all the tough times. Today I walked into my appointment without the use of an aide. Huge step for me. Thank you all at Hands On. Each and every one of you made a difference in my life if even the only contact was a smile.

Fantastic experience: 10 STARS!! I’ve been going regularly for 3 years. This is NOT your standard physical therapy place! They use additional methods that are so helpful, plus they offer “bodywork,” which doesn’t require a prescription or doctor’s involvement. The front office staff is wonderful, too.

Fantastic experience: I came in almost unable to walk due to plantar fasciitis, they evaluated me, listened to my concerns and looked at all of my paperwork. They then began treatment and exercise and have been instrumental in my recovery process. They treat the issue from a holistic approach and have done a great job.

The therapy has relieved my back pain & headaches that had been treated elsewhere for many years, yet nothing had helped until starting treatment here. Our youngest has complex medical needs and she is meeting milestones and making huge improvements with CST. Fantastic experience: I have been going to this clinic since January. After barely being able to walk along with other struggles I am finally starting to feel myself. The staff are extremely welcoming, very open to listening to your concerns and offer extreme encouragement. Fantastic experience: I’ve been to PT multiple times myself, I’m a dental hygienist and have a lot of neck and shoulder pain. I’ve avoided alot of pain and work related injury thanks to them. They are by far the best physical therapists around. I started to taking my 6 month old son around 3 months ago when I started to notice a flat spot on his head due to torticollis. They are so amazing with infants and we’ve avoided a helmet and helped develop his gross motor skills also affected by torticollis. I can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I have been in physical therapy since I was 15 years old more than not. I have seen dozens over the years and most help only a little if at all. MFR was the first thing to ever help my pelvic floor. I have multiple rare disorders that most people can seem to treat. (Systemic CRPS, EDS, POTS)This is the first place that truly gave me hope. I will forever be a patient here as long as I live in the area. They are able to improve my entire body in a way nobody else has. I am truly grateful.

Fantastic experience: One of the best physical therapists I’ve ever met. And I am from the big city( Washington DC). They have helped me recover from issues that I have had for the last 10 years. Doctors would tell me that I’d be in pain the rest of my life. I’ve been seeing them on and off for 2 years now, and I can say that they have almost taken the pain away! I have referred them to people at church as well as family members. I have brought both of my children to them for PT work and they are ABOVE AND BEYOND! All of the staff are compassionate and really care about their patients. I have never had an issue with their office or front desk staff. Fantastic experience: I have to say after 16 years of going to physical therapist. And never feeling better and even feeling worse and in more pain. This is the first office and treatment where I have felt I'm actually getting help. They have a unique approach to physical therapy, they use massage, pressure that reminds me of acupuncture, which until now acupuncture then medication was the only treatment that helped. They have been kind, they explaine what they are doing. And really seem to know what is going on with your whole body. Not just the area you think needs help. I really can't say enough of how impressed I've been. I'm so happy I have found treatment that have given me some relief.
