Camden Health and Rehabilitation

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately most of us will at sometime need to find a place where a loved one must stay to receive the appropriate care for them to continue to experience the best quality of life possible. My husband recently needed rehab after a life threatening illness that had resulted in a hospital stay. I was scared and overwhelmed by the important task I faced, the lack of information I had, and the short time I had to find a facility before his discharge. I was fortunate enough to find Camden Place. I have been struggling to find a way to describe his care there. He received awesome treatment, care and support. The best way to describe the whole experience is to ask you to read their website. I usually take them with a grain of salt but in this case everything they say is true and even better. I know I felt lost, alone and terrified so you may be experiencing something similar. I can only hope you take the time to check out Camden Place. By the grace of God I did. It was such a relief to know he was exactly where he needed to be getting the care that would return him to me in the best health possible. I was there every day and saw the miracle that was Camden. I also was the beneficiary of their love and care and will always be grateful I was led to their door. Please, if you have a love one who needs care visit Camden Place.

Everyone there is so kind to her from the Director, the Business office, the CNAs, doctors, nurses, cleaning crew, ALL! They communicate well with her and me as well. I highly recommend Camden for a safe place for your loved one. Cleanliness and environment is so important! They check all the boxes for us!

Their entire team was actively engaged in helping her recover from a serious illness. She received PT, OT, wound care, and specialized support from the dietician. The staff was caring, highly skilled, and attentive to her needs. They responded promptly to us and kept us well informed. We're very pleased that we chose Camden Place for our loved one.

Fantastic experience: It’s not the Hilton, but it was clean, and the staff was amazing with my mother. Mom has Alzheimer’s and needed their rehab to return to her facility. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of care, the communication, the excellence of the staff while she was there. Physical therapy was crucial in her return to her facility and I could not have asked for kinder and more qualified therapists. Their social worker, Lisa, I felt like she was a friend explaining everything from billing to advocating for her with insurance. Mom was safe, well cared for and better than when she was upon arrival. Thank you so much to all of you!! I’m in healthcare myself, so for her to be there and to see how well she was cared for was a comfort and relief.

Fantastic experience: My father became ill in early June, and he required a stay in a rehabilitation facility. After quite a bit of due diligence, we chose Camden Place. And what a wonderful choice it was! The staff at Camden Place was top notch. They adopted my dad and my family as their own, and my dad never wanted for anything during his stay. From the staff Director, to the nursing staff, to the CNA's, to physical therapist's, EVERYONE did their job in a loving, caring manner. Greensboro is blessed to have a facility like Camden Place!

Fantastic experience: One of the best in the area.

Positive experience: I have just gotten a loved one out as of two days ago. Thankfully, my fiancee' could do some things for himself after a few days. He was placed there after bladder removal surgery. We were told the nursing staff would take care of changing his urostomy and emptying the bag. They did neither. I changed his bag every time and brought the supplies that they were supposed to provide. They did not empty the bag after he requested it 2 times and it overflowed and blew out his pouch overnight and soiled him and his bed. He cleaned himself up and sat in the chair and was still in the chair when I arrived. The physical therapist and dietician were great and helped him immensely. The nursing staff is very slack. There were a few who seemed concerned but for the most part they were in huddles talking and laughing while patients needed attention.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited my Great Aunt at Camden and have to say I was extremely impressed. The facility was extremely clean and all of the staff I encountered were extremely professional and friendly. My cousin was saying a lot of great things about their new Administrator and Director of Nursing. It seemed to me that the facility is turning around and I am thrilled my Aunt is safe and happy!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility. My mother stayed 4 weeks in Camden to recover from two hip surgeries. The entire staff were very kind, attentive, friendly and caring. I could never thank the staff enough for all of their hard work and dedication. We are truly grateful.

Fantastic experience: Our grandmother has been in Camden's care since October 2016, and our mother in November of 2016. They are so attentive and sweet to them that it is like leaving them with family. Are they going to have someone come the minute they press the button? No, and that's ok! But they never wait too long before someone is in there assisting them with whatever they need. My mother just passed this past Tuesday and the staff showed as much emotion as we did. The compassion was so appreciated, and they took extra care of my granny during all this. I HIGHLY recommend Camden to anyone looking to place their loved one, who can no longer take care of themselves.
