First Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: I have used First Physical Therapy for three different injuries over the past couple of years. After a comprehensive evaluation, a specifically targeted therapy plan was instituted. Each therapist was well-informed of the injuries and the care plan. I found that the plan was consistent across all therapists and handled professionally. The staff is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and extremely personable. Over my 74 years, I have suffered countless injuries and surgeries, used numerous therapy groups, and found First Physical Therapy to be head and shoulders above all others. My outcomes have been more than I could have expected. I highly recommend First Physical Therapy for anyone who requires such treatment and will continue to use this group for any of my future therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: I went to First PT for a serious vertigo problem, which was hitting me hard whenever I would lie down, get up, or change position in bed. Nolan and Randy walked me through exercises that strengthened my eye muscles, and within weeks the vertigo disappeared. I am very pleased with the treatment I received at First. Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: Just seven weeks ago, I was considering having knee replacement surgery, but canceled. After four weeks of therapy, my pain is greatly reduced. The staff is professional and helpful. I like that when you go, there’s just a few people there so you don’t feel like you’re in an assembly line. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I had a hip replacement two and a half months ago. I was in a great deal of pain, afterwards, and was worried that I would never feel “right” again. That was before I started physical therapy at First Physical Therapy - specifically before I met my therapist, Nolan Daniels. I cannot say enough good things about Nolan. He pushed when I needed to be pushed and always encouraged me to work hard. He was also extremely empathetic and patient. I return to work in another week and a half and have absolutely no pain or discomfort. I feel so fortunate that I was lucky enough to have both First Physical Therapy and Nolan Daniels play such an important role in my journey back to health. Don’t hesitate. Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best physical therapy business that I've ever been to. With multiple surgeries and years of treatment, I have had a lot of experience with physical therapy. This is the first location where I regularly leave each session feeling better than when I arrived. I get quality evaluation of my condition and progress, with purposeful assessments and adjustments to my treatment regiment as needed. Fantastic experience: My experience with First Physical Therapy was awesome. Nolan was wonderful and very professional yet personable. Nolan wad able to diagnose my issue on the first visit and treat me as well. He did his assessment and told me, "I can fix you on this first visit." Nolan was a man of his word and he successfully treated me that day. I would highly recommend First PT to anyone needed Physical therapy. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I started having minor to severe back pain in August 2022. I was prescribed low dosage anti-inflammatory medication, physical therapy, and given a referral to a pain management specialist. There was no diagnosis. My back felt somewhat better after physical therapy, but the pain returned a few hours later. In Jan 2023, through my pain management specialist, I finally got a diagnosis: several bulging discs in my lower back, not severe, but enough to cause some significant pain. My pain management specialist recommended physical therapy and First Physical Therapy. The entire staff at First Physical Therapy was fantastic! Dr. Nolan Daniels designed a program specific to my ailment/injury after a thorough initial assessment, adding exercises and ramping up the intensity each session to strengthen my core and leg muscles, minimizing the duration of my physical therapy regimen. Other than normal exercise-related soreness after sessions, my back has not hurt since before my first physical therapy session. I cannot thank the entire staff enough for the personalized attention and care they gave me during my 3 week program (excluding the initial and final assessments). Of course, your experience and results will differ from mine, but if you need physical therapy, ask your doctor for a referral to First Physical Therapy. I cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: As a Truck Driver I've been with first Physical therapy for almost a year now and my honest review is that this has been the best healing and treatment for physical therapy that I have received . I sustained a neck injury and shoulder injury due to Accident Frist physical therapy is very knowledgeable with what they're doing I would recommend this place to anybody who's looking for a safe place to receive the best treatment and proper care in the Henderson area

Fantastic experience: Very professional staff at First Physical Therapy. They are knowledgable and help me to strengthen my body. I have Stenosis and pinched nerves but still need strengthen my muscles and they are tremendously helpful. No one likes to have injury’s and they know how to minimize the pain by strengthening the body.

Fantastic experience: Joey, Chandra, Darrien, Nicole…all excellent. This team treated me like a person and not just a number. I have experienced other physical therapy units that were bigger and flashier but provided substandard care. First Physical Therapy will always be my go to place in the future. These therapists and assistants actually listen to you. You can tell they really love what they do. The facility is well-managed all the way from the front desk to the treatment rooms. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have had such a positive experience at both locations of First Physical Therapy. The staff members are always friendly and are extremely knowledgeable in treating the various injuries and post-op issues that the clients present to them. Following my Cancer surgery, chemo and radiation, I have experienced tightening of muscles and lymph drainage issues. The exercises and massage treatments have definitely helped improve my range of motion and overall well-being. Thank you, Maureen, Heather and the entire staff for your dedication to improving the health of your clients and caring the way you do. Fantastic experience: First Physical Therapy in Henderson have great friendly staff members. From the front office who checks in patients as well as scheduling accurate appointments to all of the physical therapists that works in the back. Fantastic experience: I have went to many different places for physical therapy in the last 10 yrs. Due to having multiple spinal surgeries from the neck down. I have never been to a place as good as this place! They will push you to your limits… but not too far, until they know you can handle it. They truly want the best for you and see a success story out of you!

First Physical Therapy is truly unique from the time you schedule an appointment to entering the facility. Martha, who contacted me for the appointment was very informative about the therapy group. She took time to explain to me the level of expertise of the therapists and what I could expect. Upon entering the facility, the office staff was friendly, efficient, knew my name and made me feel I was expected and welcomed. The environment within the large therapy room is extremely clean, the equipment is well organized to facilitate a number of people at one time with each person having ample space, exercise areas are organized for multiple uses of equipment, and the therapists are efficient and positively engaged. From the moment I met with Diana Real to be assessed I knew I was in very capable hands. Her knowledge and skill in analyzing my condition, referring to doctor's reports, carefully listening to my individual concerns and checking out my physical status were unlike other therapists I have encountered. Diana explained what was happening to me physically, what appeared to be the causes and what she would be focusing on with me to improve my physical condition. Immediately I felt that a clear and positive plan had been set. In the therapy sessions, Diana quickly oriented me to each exercise letting me know specifically what I am working to improve and how the exercise will help me. I have been amazed how quickly I find I am improving by the simple, yet targeted movements Diana has me perform with easy to use equipment and resources. Usually when you see a therapist you do the same series of exercises each therapy session and you see everyone doing the same exercises. Not so at First Physical Therapy. I do a few exercises the same, but I find each time Diana has me focus on developing core and leg strength through a myriad of exercises that are unique, keep me interested, motivated and have an immediate effect. In a short period of time I am seeing measurable improvement and progress. I truly appreciate and value Diana's knowledge, skill and engaging manner. I look forward to each session.

Fantastic experience: It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve been attending PT to strengthen my pelvic floor following complications as a result of a prostatectomy, that resulted in an injury. I have the privilege of working with the only therapist employed by First Phyiscal Therapy that is qualified to work with men with this condition. The instructions have been very positive, helpful and supportive in helping me meet my goals. I’m very grateful and blessed to have one of two therapists in the valley that is qualified in male pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best physical therapy clinic I have been to in Las Vegas. The entire physical therapy staff takes time to get to know you and they are all highly skilled, professional and provide the results you, as a patient, seek. They explain things well and support you through the entire process. This is my only choice for physical therapy and pelvic floor therapy. They are all amazing!

Fantastic experience: About 10 wks ago I pulled a muscle in the middle of my back that made it difficult for me to walk, play golf or do any of my regular activities. So I was sent to First Physical Therapy. I was hesitant at first because I’ve had 5 surgeries on back & neck. And thought I was heading towards another one. My first day was the roughest as we all learned parts of my body didn’t or doesn’t work. The staff is amazing here and has shown me how to do exercises to help me continue to improve. I am now about 80% Better than what I was. Thank you Jesse, Mary, Nolan, Carlos for showing me how to work my muscles and continuing to bring life back to me. I am sincerely grateful. Tawnia Ross

Fantastic experience: Physical Therapy has changed over the years. I feel it's worth posting a review for First Physical Therapy. The entire staff overall is friendly and engaging. This place is a gem. Diana Real has been helping with my therapy from the evaluation and during my sessions. I have to point out that she listens to all of my feedback and alters my therapy to get the best results. I never felt that I had to do an exercise just for the heck of it. She explains the reasons and purpose of the exercise and I feel that, when my sessions are completed, I'll walk away with knowledge I didn't have. Thanks you Diana.

Fantastic experience: After a hip replacement I had the best physical therapist I could have ever had in Diana Real, DPT at the Henderson facility. I improved quickly and safely under her care and within two months was back to normal and I credit her work with me.

Fantastic experience: I've unfortunately Fractured my ankle back in June. Diana started my evaluation and till this day is always asking how am doing! She doesn't do what other therapist have done....she doesn't force you to do anything you aren't comfortable with in regards to pain! Fantastic experience: I was specifically referred to First Physical Therapy by my orthopedic surgeon. I had serious Planter Fasciitis in both feet. I was in tremendous pain and hobble walking upon arrival. I have been working with Jesse Yurko ,DPT and the entire team at First. After evaluation Jesse started me with exercises and used the Graston Technique. Jesse also suggested I order some night Plantar Fasciitis socks which I immediately ordered and have been using. I saw results after my first visit and have incrementally improved with each visit. The tremendous pain has steadily diminished and I feel so blessed. I have better flexibility and can actually walk. It is amazing. Jesse is very hands on and engaged with all of his patients. The entire team has been outstanding. Jesse has great communication skills and is with you every step of the way. He has been a miracle worker. Sylvia at the front desk is very organized and helpful. I will forever be grateful to Jesse and the entire team at First.

Fantastic experience: Diana has been very helpful in teaching me exercises that have helped to make me stronger than before the car accident. She is very knowledgeable professional, caring and conscientious. I appreciate learning a variety of simple exercises that can make a difference and can be done at home and when traveling.

Fantastic experience: I was very thankful to your Doctor of Physical Therapy Diana Real. On my first day, she made an evaluation on me asking me what other medical conditions I have. Ive mentioned to her about my Benign Positional Vertigo. She asked me if I want my BPPV to be treated which I approved. I cant believe that she was able to treat my BPPV in just 2 visits. Ive been in this condition for almost 9 months and that the Doctor Ive seen before was not able to treat me. I didnt know that i can only find the therapist that can treat my Vertigo at First Physical Therapy in the person of Diana Real, who was so kind, patient, and caring to her patients. Thank you also Diana Real for the continuing therapy on my neck. 5 stars for you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Diana thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: Following an auto accident in which both my wife and I broke our backs, I was unfortunate enough to require surgery that involved putting a bridge in my back (the x-rays are gnarly.) Upon approval from the best back surgeon in town - Dr. Kevin Debiparshad I was sent to FIRST Physical Therapy as a part of my recovery process. Short story long, they are great - from the first phone call to the final treatment, FIRST Physical Therapy is professional at every level. The front office staff is so nice, the therapist - to a person - completely into ensuring a safe and swift recovery. They always focused on my needs in terms of getting me back to my usual life activities. Between the therapies that I received in office and the take home exercises that they gave me, I am in recovery and on my way to being back 100%. Thank you all - you're the best!

Fantastic experience: The team at First Physical Therapy is terrific. They truly care about you and your condition. They make a personal connection with all of their clients and really make you feel welcomed. Every employee in this company treated me with complete respect, they listened, they encourage, and they truly cared. I was diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis and sent to First Physical Therapy. They helped me strengthen my back and neck muscles but ultimately I had to have surgery. My experience with First Physical Therapy was great. I was nervous at first but with the friendly and very hospitable staff, I was able to relax and warm up to everyone. My condition resulted in surgery with a fusion of c3-c6 but before making that decision the team at First Physical Therapy helped me manage. Please know that who you see for physical therapy is your choice. Also know that at First Physical Therapy you will be well treated, treated as a person and not just another number, and treated by a therapy team that knows how to help you.

Fantastic experience: Nicole Is the consummate professional with 22 years of experience and 15 of administrative experience. She is able to provide an overview to her trained staff that is remarkable. Paola , most frequently my one on one therapist , is an absolute compassionate caring competent person moving me forward. And I apologize if I have spelled her name wrong! With three broken bones in my pelvis plus a torn this and that in my knee, my goal of returning to doing dog agility with my standard poodle will soon be realized thanks to the folks here.

Fantastic experience: This place is simply the best. From the initial phone call to the first visit and now the weekly visits.. all have been just amazing how caring the entire staff is. Nicole and Debbie did our evaluation in the beginning and were so kind and gentle with my two month old and gave us tons information on helping my baby get better. Our weekly visits are with Sarah .. we just love her! She is so sweet... really knows what she's doing and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. By far the best physical therapy in town!!

Fantastic experience: I honestly don't know where to start. Or should I start with where I would be if it weren't for this amazing practice? Right when you walk in the door your welcomed as if visiting your family. Rather its Meagan or Monica at the front desk they know your name. These girls are always smiling and friendly. Nicole the head therapist runs a tight ship. Lol. She knows your injuries and creates a personalized set of exercises to strengthen your core and eliminate your pain. She doesn't forget a face a name or an injury. Her assistants, well they are just as amazing as she is and she chooses them very carefully. If you're looking for a small personalized atmosphere rather than a huge gym type place where they are just running people through the mill, then this is the place for you. Personalized treatment as if you were family. Never a bad day once you step inside their door. You deserve that.
