Fantastic experience: It’s the best place to get physical therapy …the facility is clean and efficient and the staff are all very friendly and professional. Feel very welcome and safe there. Jason Chang is an excellent therapist. He is very knowledgeable, attentive and patient. He not only knows what your body needs but also wants you to understand how and why you’re doing every move so that you may know how to retain and improve even when you’re on your own later.

Fantastic experience: Can physical therapy actually be fun and something to look forward to? Why, yes, yes it can be! :D I found this to be true at HolistiCare Physical Therapy, after two months of exceptional care. Coming out of a major surgery, I had to learn basic movement like walking, balance and had recurrent pain in my neck, back and knees. I went to therapy because it was a necessity; I didn't expect it to be enjoyable. ...until I went to HolistiCare! :) HolistiCare provides personalized care from kind and experienced therapists. During our sessions, my two therapists, Vivian and Carlo, were attentive to my goals and even kept in mind what my doctors said I could or couldn't do when tailoring my exercises. HolistiCare has a computer portal where therapists take notes on their patients after each session and send video exercises that patients can practice at home. I appreciate that my therapists read each other's notes to stay updated and provide continuity in their care. Vivian and Carlo were gentle, respectful and knowledgeable as they worked on me and helped me reach my goals. I was also fortunate to have a session with Dr. Jason, and was inspired by his PT background, education and passion to share his knowledge with the community. One can easily sense their genuine care for their patients and that besides being quality therapists, they are quality people, too. Vivian was always there to answer questions and share her 20+ years of PT expertise. She knows so much about the body and movement - ask her all the questions! She is happy to answer and so patient. I appreciate her keen eyes - she observed the way I sat or walked, and could pinpoint how my movements were causing pain. When she taped up my knee, she gave a thorough explanation (verbal and written!) of how to use KT tape and taught me to do it, so I could continue after I finished therapy. Carlo taught me about exercising, gym equipment and nutrition. He gave me exercises that felt manageable, which inspired me to work out more consistently. When my knee was popping, he helpfully switched me from floor exercises to the reformer. To answer my questions about knee pain, he even brought out the skeleton model to explain. He helped to massage my neck and back, and when it was still sore, he put a warm compress on it. Little thoughtful acts like these increased my awareness of my own body and empowered me to take better care of myself. The staff are really friendly, too - special thank you Christine and Yu Yu for welcoming me with a smile and booking my appointments professionally. Mahalo to Dr. Anson, who always gave friendly waves and emanates kindness and professionalism, too! I didn't expect to look forward to going to PT every week, but it was actually fun learning from professionals, and seeing myself progress with their help and care. They even motivated me to go to the gym - something I previously thought I was allergic to :P . Much mahalo, HolistiCare for helping me during a challenging time. You've not only helped me recover physically, but helped to uplift my spirit, too! :) I definitely recommend going to HolistiCare for effective therapy...and a fun time! :) Note: While HolistiCare has the expertise, energy and equipment to help people of all ages, I especially like that I met a lot of older patients and saw they were treated respectfully, gently and kindly. This is a place I would feel comfortable bringing loved ones, especially seniors.

Fantastic experience: They have some of the best physical therapists in Honolulu. I've been to a bunch of clinics and would recommend you try Holisticare next. Lots of manual work and proper posture exercises helped improve my condition quite a bit.

Fantastic experience: The entire team at Holisticare is very friendly, caring and professional. Dr. Ho （何医师）is very knowledgeable, loving and has lots of patience with my Dad who has hearing problems. My Dad feels so much better after each visit. He’s definitely a FIVE STAR, highly recommended therapist .

Fantastic experience: Good PT clinic in Honolulu. I've tried a few of their experienced physical therapists and would recommend you give it a shot. I tried several places in Hawaii and this place is among the better ones. They are always flexible with schedule changes, which is good.

Fantastic experience: Been getting better without pain.

Fantastic experience: 9 months ago, I suffered a rotator cuff injury. The doctor recommended rest, so I rested. First 4 weeks, then another 4 weeks. Then 2 shots of cortisone shots in the shoulder area. Then another 4 weeks of rest. Then some gentle physiotherapy with massage and self-massage which lessened the pain but not enough to resume workout. FYI - I did calisthenics and was able to do 10-8-6 good-form chin-above-the-bar pull-ups, and was well on my way to front levers and starting to train for muscle-ups. 9 months of not working out was very disasppointing. I got referred to Holisticare by a very good friend 6 weeks ago. We started treatment and Jason had me performing very light workouts and stretches which tested the limits of my ability to move my left shoulder. After 4 weeks I graduated with still some discomfort in the left shoulder but being able to do moderate workouts. Today, 2 weeks after saying goodbye to Jason, I just finished my stretch + workout with 2x10 good for military push ups without any pain - during or after. The Holisticare team is young, professional, kind and pro-active team that achieved in 4 weeks what others could not in 9 months. Thank you Jason and the team of Holisticare!

Fantastic experience: Very professional job done well, through medical or paying yourself. Every last penny is worth it, I’d recommend going here before thinking about a chiropractor any day I came in for physical therapy due to being hit by a car on my bike a week and a half prior. I already had neck and back pain for several years before this incident and I’ll tell you, I couldn’t be more thankful for the wonderful help and therapy they’ve provided. 2 weeks and 3 appointments in and I’m currently recovering greatly from more than just the crash

Fantastic experience: Since going to Holisticare, the relief I’ve had from my migraines is incomparable to help I’ve received from medications and most chiropractors. After receiving several different kinds of chiropractic care (even tried that one with the machine that kicks your atlas into place) the physical therapy I’ve gotten from here has been phenomenal and it’s all thanks to the care and patience from Jason and his team. Making appointments always feels friendly, the muscle work and adjustment is amazing for really loosening the muscles around the areas that need to be realigned; and then, light stretches and exercises to help strengthen the muscles. The care I received is what I was expecting from a chiropractor, but they truly do all that they can in order to help their patients. Very thankful to have been able to be a patient with them.
