Fantastic experience: I had pain and numbness in my arm for several months before beginning physical therapy. Julie and her staff quickly recognized my issues and prescribed a program of several exercises to strengthen my neck and back while improving my posture. After several weeks, not only was my arm better, but my range of motion for both arms and my neck increased. I hadn't realized how much the muscle tension I carried as a "normal" amount was limiting my mobility. The increased body awareness from the coaching was invaluable and will definitely help me prevent future issues. Thank you to everyone at Moon Physical Therapy for the care and expertise!

Fantastic experience: My daughter tore her ACL last year and the therapists at Moon PT Kailua were so helpful. They assisted with her pre-surgery therapy and post-surgery therapy. They were beyond helpful in assisting with her recovery. I would fully recommend them for anyone who is in need of physical therapy. They are well trained, knowledgeable, accommodating, and helpful.

Fantastic experience: This place breaks the mold for customer service in the land of "Hawaii Time." Like clockwork, my appointments were always confirmed ahead of time; and rescheduling/cancelling was never a hassle. The therapists were all friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to hand off to another therapist to accommodate an influx of patients. Brendan was my main PT. Whether talking football, anime, or exercises, he laid the foundation for the overall excellent experience at Moon. I highly recommend them to anyone needed treatment! Cliff

Fantastic experience: Rehabilitation and recovery is a process but I am very pleased with the results from the Acqua therapy at Moon Therapy. Awaiting to continue with a Land/Acqua weekly sessions.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Moon Therapy on Ward Ave for more than 3 years, and I keep coming back because of the great patient service. The staff is very friendly and the therapists are all very knowledgeable. Carl Ko has been there the whole time I’ve been coming, and he’s the best! And he gives great massages too! The front staff cares about you and what they do..thats a win win. They have volunteer workers that share the same passion and drive as the owner Julie. I definitely learned a lot and is grateful to have had the opportunity to learn about land and aquatic therapy. Fantastic experience: I Started working here about a little more than 2 Months ago, and I love it here. The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. But what sets this place apart from other clinics, is there unique abilities and techniques with aqua therapy. To be more specific the Hydorworx Treadmill that we have here at Moon blew me away the first time I saw it. I was thoroughly impressed by it and the ability is has to help with recovery for all diagnoses ranging from orthopedic, pain, and all the way to Traumatic Brain Injuries. Come in see it for yourself you will be blown away.

Fantastic experience: I like to call Moon PT my “healing place.” As a disabled veteran, I had no idea these services are completely covered by the VA! Since I started going to Moon PT a year ago, everything has improved in my life. Starting with sleep. My sleep was horrible until I started using the pain free hydro therapy at Moon. I love the HYDROWORX!! Imagine being able to jog/run with zero pain, plus get all of the cardio/exorcise for your body. That’s what kicked my sleep into high gear. I can’t thank the staff at Moon PT enough for all that you do. I was in a dark place until your staff and facilities showed me just how great I could feel again. Moon PT is my jam!! Fantastic experience: Moon Physical Therapy is the place to be! The staff are VERY courteous and make you feel like a part of the family rather than a patient. Julie and her PTA are knowledgeable and will safely guide you in your recovery and pursuit of your desired goals. This therapy experience is THE MOST comprehensive one I have ever had. Aquatic therapy in the Hydroworx and large pool GREATLY assisted me in my recovery and allowed me to have a more dynamic experience during land-based treatment. Carl and Raydan were with me the most and kept the vibes positive even when I struggled initially. Their exercises were comfortable yet challenging; they valued my input and added/removed movements or modified them to an aggressive level to help me reach the next level in my recovery. Julie challenged me during the land-based treatment by combining several different movements into one; this was by far the most challenging yet rewarding experience; watching myself in the mirror and seeing the results of my efforts under their guidance. Kelcie and Eugene assisted me with scheduling (and rescheduling) so many appointments to accommodate my changing schedule alongside a call to confirm upcoming sessions, which helps in preventing missing an appointment. Thanks to Moon Physical Therapy, I am highly content with my results, having resumed swimming and stand-up paddling activities. I must say Carl is one of the most personable n knowledgeable PTAs, I’ve ever met!! And at my age, I’ve met quite a few. Fantastic experience: I love Moon therapy. When my elderly mom got severe bout of arthritis she could not do any regular movement or exercise. Moon physical therapy was a life saver- it got her being in the water and moving. All the therapists and the owner are super friendly and were very patient even with my moms limited English. And they take insurance! I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I absoulety love Moon Physical Therapy! I have been a patient of Moon since 2017 after my first spine surgery in May 2017. Julie Moon is so friendly and caring and really addressed my concerns with my back injury and helped me set a path to recover my mobility and decrease my chronic back pain. All the staff at Moon is very knowledge and helps with targeting their patients needs. My very first time in the Aquatic Hydroworx Machine was such a relief. If you never been into an underwater treadmill you definitely need to check it out! I was able to move more freely underwater than I was in land based therapy. TJ, Charlie, Kami, and Carl were my main therapists that helped me recover in the Hydroworx machine. Even after my XLIF spinal fusion surgery in April 2018 I still continued aquatic therapy to get my life back from chronic pain. I still am a patient 4 yrs later. I also go to the Mililani clinic and excited for the opening of the Kailua clinic. The Hydroworx machine is one of a kind in Hawaii and only Moon Physical Therapy has it! It is the machine that helps athletes recover from major surgeries!

Fantastic experience: I just want to thank everyone at Moon Physical Therapy located 320 Ward Ave, Honolulu, HI 96814, for helping me through these months of painful physical therapy! The staff and threapist go above and beyond and are so careing and supportive. My back injury has been a tremendous stress both physical and emotional. It has been rollercoaster of good and bad days. When I have been ready to give up everyone has been there for me. Truly amazing! With pain levels of the norm being 6-7 on good days to 8-10 on my worse days. They help me lower the pain to a tolerable level.I had to start with water therapy, which is amazing ! I am now doing land based and water therapy in the Hydroworx 350. If you are in need of therapy in my opinion there is NO other place I would recommend. (I have been to others so I can say this ) Check out their web page and see how many amazing treatments they offer and other locations (yes they have more than one location). Worried about COVID-19 , they have a strict policy of cleanliness and checking your temp upon check in.Everyone has to wear a mask. Thank you and your staff Laura

Fantastic experience: Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff! Learned so much in only 4 sessions instead of 6 for my elbow pain from sports. The pain reduced so drastically that I graduated early :) As long as I continue the pt that i learned from Moon PT, I am confident that this pain will be a thing of the past.
