Fantastic experience: Hi, I came to Titan Physical Therapy to take care of my left knee pain and I am so impressed with the care, and time that Michelle takes to address any pain issues I have. She know how to help me at the office and guides me with the right exercises to do at home to continue my treatments. I plan to continue my treatments here for several more weeks. Dr Avery, the owner, and the office staff are so friendly that it has been a pleasure to come here for treatments.

Fantastic experience: I would like to give Michelle a major shoutout! I came here due to an injury that I had sustained from a specific event. As a result, my lower spine had a protrusion. I originally went to a well-known clinic that "assisted" me for a few months. I was not seeing any progress with them. As a result, I decided to take my health and place it in the care of Titan, specifically Michelle. She did way more with me in my first session than I ever had experienced at the other clinic. She was very patient, knowledgeable, and caring. Michelle is a professional who takes pride in her work. She answered all of my questions regarding my overall health. She went above and beyond to assist with whatever I needed help in. She took the time to show me the specific workouts that I needed to do in order to alleviate whatever symptoms I was having. She took the time to make any adjustments she saw fit with my body. Her handwork was awesome! Michelle also helped me with the vertigo I was experiencing. Overall, Michelle is an awesome person with a big heart. She will ensure that you are cared for both physically and emotionally. She is very relatable and patient. Fantastic experience: My cousin had such a good experience at Titan Physical Therapy that I decided to go there when I needed Physical Therapy. I've been working with Physical Therapist Avery Schrorer for only two weeks and already I have to say that Avery has made a tremendous difference in my sciatica. In just a couple of weeks with him, I've gone from having truly unbearable pain every day to only a small amount of pain. I'm sure that in a couple of more weeks with Avery, my pain will be 100% gone. I'm getting my life back! And I got all this with Avery, with no medications, injections, or surgery. I have to add that Avery is a truly kind and personable professional with tremendous expertise. His skills are remarkable and I feel so lucky to be under his care. Additionally, his facility is calm and sunny, and you won't find nicer staff than at Titan. Over the years I've been to quite a few physical therapists. This facility and Avery are the absolute best!

Fantastic experience: I went to Titan to correct a knee injury from a fall. I worked one on one with the therapist and was able to recover more quickly than I had anticipated. In addition the therapist helped me realize that not only did the injury affect my hip joints as well. I am now back to exercising; walking for longer amounts of time, weight training, doing multiple aerobic exercises, and a little jogging. The atmosphere at the studio is calm and inviting. I attribute my quick recovery with the therapist’s positive attitude and patience. I would recommend Titan for Physical Therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Titan Physical Therapy. There is not enough space here for me to state all the reasons. Having gone to other PT places prior to Titan PT, I feel my opinion should count! I worked with Dr. Avery Schroyer before and after my second total hip replacement - from summer 2020 til last week, February 2022 - every appt with a mask on ! Avery is very knowledgeable in his area of expertise. The very special added bonus are his personal skills. First of all, he works with you and only you so the one on one is so valuable. Everyone is different with various lifestyles, concerns, goals, habits, etc. Avery is the best listener. And the best at asking questions to get to know YOU. That is how he can best help you. His guidance, support, love for his job is obvious from the moment you meet him. I miss Avery already. But his program that he designed for me to stay strong will continue to help me daily. And if I need PT again in the future I will return to see Dr Avery Schroyer.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Titan is superior in every way to treatment I've experience elsewhere in my eighty plus years. Avery offers one-on-one consultation and treatment and this includes explaining and informing and answering any concerns, as well as a carefully monitored and planned program of treatment to address the issue. The staff are warm and friendly and this makes the sessions enjoyable. Avery challenges just enough to motivate without causing undue stress or discomfort. I would not hesitate to recommend Titan to anyone of any age.

Fantastic experience: Came in with some nerve damage that I had been suffering from for a few years in both elbows and hands. Avery and his staff were polite and he was extremely knowledgeable. Some doctors tend to talk over a patient, especially in asserting their medical acumen. He was very laid back and had a way of really educating me about my issues without making me feel dumb. He then put a simplified plan in place to help me get some relief. Within just a few sessions I have seen dramatic results and my normal day to day pain is all but gone. I'm not one to typically take time to write a review unless I'm really wowed, so thanks again and I would highly recommend this place to anyone in my situation!

Fantastic experience: I've been under the care of Avery Schroyer at Titan Physical Therapy for over 6 months. Initial visit was for strengthening, anticipating knee replacement in not-too-distance future. Avery has focused on knee strength, overall body strength, better balance and gives the very best knee massage (who knew there was such a thing!) that I can imagine! His patience...say again: Patience!...is never-ending. He has a wonderful sense of humor. Is always 'kind and gentle' when suggestions-for-improvement often need to be made. He is simply a joy to be around! And he is so knowledgeable of so many topics. And he is a wonderful teacher as he explains what's going on with my knees or other body parts. Hs emphasis on balance was a surprise when I first started, and he has helped me realize how important good balance is - for everyone - but especially a 76 year-old gal with lousy knees. The pain in my knees has been reduced. I have said for quite a while that I now walk more like a human being and hardly at all like a crab! He has long encouraged me to go to the nearby YMCA to use some of that equipment, so we can focus on other things at Titan. I am (at last) actually going to the Y. He always explains why he wants to do a particular exercise and has me practice while there. He doesn't overwhelm with a lot of exercises each visit -- introduces them gradually. He began with easy moves that I can do at home, even sitting down, to more advanced exercises. Katie has been an excellent addition to the staff at Titan. She is always so very pleasant, welcoming, also knowledgeable -- and patient! I love my visits to Titan PT, I always feel much better when I leave - physically and mentally. It's a little sad that my bi-weekly visits are being reduced to one a week. I may have to just stop by to say hello. I do recommend Titan PT to friends - whether they ask or not! I think Avery is just the very best PT. He is a kind and understanding person, a super father and husband, and a man of strong faith and honest character. I have found his articles in the Lexington Herald Leader newspaper to be very helpful and enlightening. Actually, that was my first introduction to Titan and I was - and still am - so very impressed with how well he writes and how understandable his articles are! My plan is to continue to work with him after I have the long-anticipated knee replacement in the sometime-future. So glad I 'found' him, in the newspaper and then realizing that Titan is next door to his Dad's veterinary practice Animal Care Clinic. (longtime vet for my sweet beagle, Crystal). Being with Avery and Katie has made a very positive difference in my life and I am very blessed to be under his care!

Fantastic experience: I was in a lot of pain when I first came to Avery Schroyer. I had had physical therapy with another therapist in whom I had developed no confidence whatsoever. In fact, I felt his therapy had actually been detrimental. I turned to my general practitioner for help, and he referred me to Avery. There was no turning back. Avery proved to be intuitive, kind, understanding, intelligent, generous with his explanations to all my questions (I had a lot), and supportive of my lifestyle and needs. He explained the exercises I needed to continue daily at home on my own during therapy (and after) and provided e-mailed tutorials on exactly how to carry out these exercises - even though he had explained them to me at our sessions. There was a lot to take in, and he was very patient. Most of all, Avery was sensitive and very in tune with my shoulder injury. His hands-on therapy pushed me, but just enough -- not too much. At the end of each session, I'd get a sense of where I had been, what I had accomplished and where I still needed to go. It wasn't all uphill, but I was in very capable hands and knew I was going to get better. Avery Schroyer has my highest recommendation. If I ever am in need of a PT in the future, I will definitely go back to him.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely pleased with the quality of care I received. Dr. Shroyer, is a great communicator, providing me with detailed pictures of where I was injured and videos on my phone so that I could make sure I was exercising properly. He was a good listener and I was the only patient in the office when I was there. It was one on one. I’d highly recommend him. also, I subsequently, had major abdominal surgery and because of the pre-surgery exercise regimen he developed for me, I was in much less pain and recovered much quicker than I was anticipating.

Fantastic experience: I am a 78 year old retired minister who served for 15 years as chaplain at the VA hospital in Houston TX. In that capacity I often relied upon Physical Therapists for their unique insights into the needs of patients. I learned the difference between the compassionate professional and those who were just doing a job. Dr. Avery Schroyer and his staff at Titan Physical Therapy are the real deal. Since moving to Lexington 12 years ago I have had 10 major surgeries, with as many times in rehabilitation. I have made use of three of the best know facilities in the Lexington, and found all three to be beneficial. However, Avery and Titan stand out for focusing upon my needs and goals, rather than formal standards. Avery began by asking me what I wanted to be able to do that I was currently unable to do, and then designed an approach to therapy that focused on enabling me to meet my personal goals. Fantastic experience: I had a back/hip problem last year and went through the usual medical pathways to no avail. I finally decided to try Titan Physical Therapy. The staff was very empathetic and felt they could help. I have to say that I am feeling much better since I have been doing the exercise regimen that they laid out. Fantastic experience: During the past year I had hip replacement surgery and had such a good experience with rehabilitation that I just wanted to share this part of my journey. Dr Avery Schroyer of Titan Physical Therapy was treating me for bursitis of both hips with such excellent care that it was a quick and right decision to return to Titan’s after hip surgery. Avery had prepared me with exercises for strengthening prior to surgery. Afterwards he had me walking without aids and meeting expectations quickly. The entire staff is respectful, caring, and exceptionally qualified. I have since been working under the awesome care of Dr Michelle Plaugher. Due to their hands on Techniques and exercises I am stronger and walking better than I have in 3 years! Consider Titans for your physical needs. Fantastic experience: I contacted Titan Physical Therapy seeking help with my knee pain. 3 weeks later I’m able to walk up and down the stairs WITHOUT pain and I’m feeling much stronger. Fantastic experience: My husband has gotten wonderful results / improvement working with Dr. Schroyer. We particularly like that it is Dr. Schroyer who performs the hands on therapy, instead of turning over to an assistant as done at large practices. His treatment is structured to address that day’s problems, as well as follow up on previous sessions. He understands the differences and needs of the geriatric population. We have given his information to our other providers.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Avery for approximately one year for physical therapy related to torn ligaments in my foot and arthritis in my hip. The PT sessions were very beneficial and allowed me to maintain a high level of activity and prepared me for my recent hip joint replacement. After hip surgery I have continued my physical therapy by teleconferencing with Avery and these sessions have contributed significantly to my excellent outcome.
