Fantastic experience: For having a broken back leg and foot, they were exceptional. Their occupational and physical therapist were amazing. I'm sorry for anyone who had any less than an amazing experience there.

Fantastic experience: My brother was at this hospital for a spinal cord injury and it was a great place for treatment. They have great physical therapist and occupational therapist. They really helped their patients overcome obstacles.

Fantastic experience: i was sent there after my car wreck in march 2014 and omg they was so good to me i could not walk or even go to the bath room and they helped me 100 % and i want to say ty ty ty ty its a 5 star ratting to me

Fantastic experience: I stayed at Cardinal Hill for ten days after my bilateral knee replacement surgery. The therapists, nursing staff, and everyone who cared for me were great! I believe I was able to heal quickly because of the excellent care I received.

Fantastic experience: My father suffered a stroke leaving him paralyzed on on his left side prior to being admitted to Cardinal Hill. Within a matter of a month, he was walking with assistance and talking like his old self again! He praised Ruth Ann (PT) and Katie (I believe she was OT). There were a couple instances where his soiled laundry was being placed in his wardrobe with his clean clothes… but this was fixed. The nurses were kind and patient. He got to choose his own meals and received three hours a day of PT, OT, and Speech. His case manager Christina was very helpful in finding him placement post Cardinal Hill. I cannot praise this facility enough!

Fantastic experience: The staff were very compassionate and they help me with my Rehabilitation, they made sure I was okay everyday the only thing I did not like about the place was the doctor did not seem to listen or care that I was in physical pain he treated me as if I was an addict and I had never done anything in my life of that sort...

Fantastic experience: E E Arnett Update: I just graduated from Kori's class on Friday Oct 13th... I'm sad that I won't see her anymore, but she said I can come back in a year for an evaluation... In the meantime, I'm supposed to keep up my exercises 2x a day My psychiatrist is Dr. Nicole Ivanchak Goodin... My physical therapist at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center is Dr. Goodin's sister, Kori Ivanchak, who specializes in Parkinson's... She's kind, compassionate, patient, and professional... Parkinson's makes you stiff, and the first time I was late by almost a half-hour, so we didn't have much time... I haven't exercised in a long time so the little bit we did made me sore for two days! Today she gave me some home exercises to do, & I'm supposed to do them twice a day She went over them with me first, so I could get the drift of doing them I can't say enough good things about her...

Fantastic experience: Our daughter was at Cardinal Hill - Brain Injury Unit for three weeks following a massive stroke and hospitalization at UK Chandler Hospital. Our daughter made tremendous progress at Cardinal Hill. This was due to the therapists, nursing staff, physicians and her drive to regain her lost skills. All of the staff were exceptional which included the dietary and housekeeping staff. Our daughter's case manager kept us well informed and developed a comprehensive discharge plan. We could not have asked for a better experience at Cardinal Hill. We are truly grateful to the staff at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital for the care and treatment of our daughter.

Fantastic experience: This facility is absolutely top notch. The food was delicious, snacks and drinks available 24/7. When I rang the bell, the staff was there right away to help me. The P.T.,O.T. and S.T. was excellent. I could see a difference everyday in my healing process. Dr. Porter was in early every morning to access and update me on the plan of care. I hope I never need their service again, but wouldn't want to be anywhere else, if I have the misfortune of needing rehab again Wishing God's blessings on all of you. .....THANK YOU. THANK

Fantastic experience: The Brain injury unit is Amazing! I came to the facility not able to feel my legs and my mind was very foggy. I left walking with a cane and my memory was way better than when I arrived. I received PT, OT, and ST. The therapist were spot on with their treatment plans.The nurses and techs were very thorough and attentive. All staff showed care and compassion for me. I could not ask for better care!

Fantastic experience: My husband had a massive stroke and was finally well enough to go to cardinal hill after 3 months of other hospitalizations. We honestly could not have asked for better treatment, care. The therapist, nurses and assistant nurses were top notch. They made my husband and myself feel like we were family. Jeff has only been home for a few days and I’m amazed at the progress he’s made because he was at this wonderful place. He’s walking and talking, enjoying the outdoors. He got to enjoy eating his favorite meal, oysters and steak at a restaurant with his family for his birthday. We as a family are so grateful for the care Jeff received and we can’t thank Cardinal hill enough.

Fantastic experience: My mother has been in this rehabilitation hospital for a week and I have to say I'm very very impressed with the cleanliness of this place. Its immaculate! Everything is just a out spotless! Floors are nice & shiny. The nurses/doctors/ ALL the staff we have encountered have been outstanding and simply amazing. They've pushed her yard but not hard enough to harm her but to actually help her! I seriously love this place!

Fantastic experience: Cardinal has been amazing to my mother, my mom went into the UK hospital on the 12-17-22 with a big knot between her legs they was saying it was a boil or a cyst, and laid other there for 13 days and didn't do nothing much for her, but no more then she got into Cardinal Hill they started taking care of her and had a skin specialist look at that spot and started working on it and got a something not normal out of it and working on getting the infection out of that place, they have been sweet, and kind to her and they have been wonderful to her and I thank God that she went over there.

Fantastic experience: I only spent a short time at Cardinal Hill for general rehabilitation from a motorcycle accident. The staff is extremely friendly and professional and very caring about how you feel and helping you to recover to your fullest extent. I mean everyone from the doctors to housekeeping are outstanding!

Fantastic experience: I have so much to be thankful for, all the Nurses, Drs., CNAs, from start to finish, were so wonderful they ALL were very carrying and showed such Respect for my Fiancé Brent. He made them laugh and they would make him laugh they were so attentive. I would call them “my heroes”!! Fantastic experience: I had to stay for about 2 weeks but wish my insurance had allowed me to go there the whole time, I had to spend over 2 months in the hospital then nursing home, when broken my kneecap. Cardinal hill is by far a better choice for anyone needing the services they provide.

Fantastic experience: They made me wait 52 minutes to see the Doctor. The employees were rude and impatient. You would think that after a wait like this that they would be more cordial. The facility was overheated and reeked of disinfectant. The patient rooms were more like hospital rooms than rooms for people recovering from illness, surgery or accident. In fact, the place overall, was more like a hospital than a place for people to recover. Way too sterile and unfriendly.

Fantastic experience: This placed saved me. Dr Taylor is a godsend and the therapists were awesome. I never thought I would walk again. They were kind and patient but they pushed me as well. I was there totally by myself but I knew God was with me to help me through the process. My OT and PT were awesome.

Fantastic experience: Me an my mom stays with my dad. The lady from UK promised certain things an then did not tell cardinal hill Instead of me driving home at 1 am my dads nurse(bless his heart) calls his boss an brings my mom a bed in to sleep in until they get everything straight. He was awesome didnt catch his name but how many people still go out of their way to help you. He did... Wish there was more nurses like him. ( blonde hair works 2nd floor night shift. Fantastic experience: I have had friends in the inpatient section who were treated very well. I have personally done outpatient physical therapy and outpatient occupational therapy. I recovered in record time thanks to Karen Rodgers in pt, and the whole ot department.

Fantastic experience: My name is Edwin Woodard and I was there January 12 2011 until February 21st 2011 and I was in a severe car wreck with my wife and it broke my neck in 3 places and my upper back in one and I was paralyzed on my whole right side and had to learn how to walk and use my right hand again I would have never been able to do it if it hadn't been for Cardinal Hill and their superb Dr and physical and occupational therapist I had a tremendous experience at that hospital and I thought their food was good thank you and my wife was a borderline quadriplegic from a spinal cord injury at the T6 - T7 level she was there from January 20th to March 21st of 2011 before she came home they taught me how to take care of her and I was able to keep her at home and take care of her for the last three and a half years of her life I am very sorry that Christian person had a bad experience there but me and my wife neither one did we love that place coodles to Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital

Fantastic experience: I'm an RN who recently began working here. They take excellent care of their employees, which translates into excellent patient outcomes.

Fantastic experience: Cardinal Hill is a top notch rehab facility. I have been a patient here a number of times and have always received the best of care and therapy. I felt that they were so good that I now do volunteer work here. The food was better a few years ago but with time and the take over by Health South there have been staff, suppliers and policy changes, not all that good for a rehab hospital this size. They are in the process of working out the problems and I expect we'll see the results in the next few months. In my experience with Cardinal Hill, I have seen people complain over a number of things but the staff bend over backwards to help. I just think that there are people that are impossible to please.

Fantastic experience: Great hospital. The nurses and techs in the spinal unit were great with my son, even though he was a hard patient to please but they were very professional and done everything they could to help him and us as well. Wished I could remember they’re name and I would thank them personally they went above and beyond. Thank you. A special thanks to our case worker in the spinal unit Julie Ann for everything she has done she also went above and beyond for us, all the workers there take pride in they’re work. Thank you
