Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals-Lincoln Campus

Fantastic experience: Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital made a huge difference in the outcome of my son's recovery from a brain injury as a result of a automobile accident. We feel so thankful and grateful for the nurses, therapists and all personnel at Madonna. We thank God everyday that our son had the opportunity to go to Madonna. We were from out of state so it was a big decision for us and we do not regret it. Thank you Madonna for assisting Walter J. "Jake" Robohn in his recovery process from his TBI. You are the "best"!

Fantastic experience: As a former patient I have nothing but great things to say about Madonna and the staff there! I was air lifted to a hospital in KS immediately following my head injury and they were very negative with their thoughts on my recovery and did not properly care for me while there but I am beyond thankful today that my family chose to then move me to Madonna for care. While being at Madonna for about 6months I under went several different therapies for brain injury including occupational, speech, physical, etc and with less than a 10% chance of coming out of a coma the nurses and therapists there did that and so much more. I became great friends with the staff there and hated having to leave but after leaving I graduated college, am running, and do more than my family could ever imagine. Thank you Madonna, you gave me the therapy I needed and gave me the care no other hospital or therapist could!! I would highly recommend Madonna to anyone looking for therapy, they work miracles! =)

Fantastic experience: Spent three months there went from not talking, walking, going to the bathroom alone, wanting to die, to a functional human being again. Can say with certainty, best in the Midwest! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if a loved one has traumatic brain injury.

Fantastic experience: my 18 yr old son was electricuted at his job..died twice was n icu n kearney..was finally excepted to madonna. he woke up from his coma there..they have amazing everything there for their patience to family n friends..he is walking talking doing most on his own..he is now 24 yrs old. if we had to do it all over again..i wouldnt change a thing with madonna and my son cody agrees. he misses his nurses etc :)

Fantastic experience: The people here are the greatest treasure of Madonna. Every single person was a beacon of light. I am not kidding about that!! They make you feel cared for..and special. I was here for a month and they got me back on my feet. I am forever grateful to this place and these awesome angels on earth.

Fantastic experience: Having been a Paramedic and visited numerous care facilities, from what I saw, this is a very clean and well managed facility. We have family there now and they are well cared for.

Fantastic experience: The staff are hard working people caring and attentive. Today a special shout out to Julia and Matthew who have been awsome in caring for my loved one. I really like them. There are others who have excelled in his care too. Im glad Madonna is here for Lincoln , Nebraska.

Fantastic experience: All of the doctors and therapists I worked with there helped get me to a MUCH better place after my car accident. Prepare to be pushed to do the work you need to do when it feels like you have no more strength or energy. Lol They can recognize your capabilities and potential and they'll get you as far as possible in your recovery. The absolute best part of going there was the compassion and kindness shown by every one of the staff. Patient care is so important to any business, but especially important in anyone's recovery from an injury. I'd say Madonna is #1 in at least all of Lincoln for patient/customer care.

Fantastic experience: I spent about three months there as a patient and could not have asked for a better experience. I am at the best point of my life now, almost one year later!

Positive experience: Spent a month here with my SO. Over all was pleased with the care he received. I felt like the staff could communicate a little better but other than that it was great. I also appreciated the combinations that were made for his family as far as family housing.

Fantastic experience: I was sent to the folks here as a very reluctant participant. I had given up on my recovery process from a TBI and did not expect much if anything here either but as soon as I met with the doctors, therapists, and staff I knew this was where I was supposed to be. I believe these wonderful people literally saved my life and I owe them my future. Everyone in the facility is loving and caring and make you feel like they are there for you and your needs and not just another "patient", they treat you like family... I was part of their Day Therapy Program for quite some time, then transitioned to the Out Patient Therapy Program, and now go for only maintenance sessions for Vision Therapy. This has been a two year total process so far and even though I will never be what I was before my injury I am very happy with all these wonderful people did for me. I fear where I would be today had I not had these Angels in my life. I love you and may God Bless You All!❤

Fantastic experience: Caring environment, polite nurses and nurse’s aids , clean place

Fantastic experience: The first time I walked into Madonna rehabilitation center 2015. My father had a stroke and he was sent here for therapy. This center was an excellent start to recover. The infrastructure was dynamic. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent . Thanks to all the staff.

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old was transferred here from St Elizabeth burn unit. The staff/ nurses went above and beyond for my little guy. A certain nurse even played with him and played hide and seek and she gave him so much attention. He loved it! The different therapist that helped him was excellent and never pushed him to make him be uncomfortable. A burn nurse even came and showed me how to do wash time for him and she never left until I was completely comfortable with doing it!

Fantastic experience: Kids have therapy here

Positive experience: Excellent outcome for the patients but heaven forbid you are not the one with legal responsibility as they have NO compassion for ANY of the family members, not even blood relation as close as a sister or divorced parent and will use hipaa laws as their excuse for not having any empathy. Can't even say the patient is doing great or direct confused family to resources to help the family through their grief, anger etc. So excellent outcome for the patient but poor service of the family (especially as they tout that having family come is very important to the patient's recovery).

Positive experience: Overall most the therapist are very kind but have run into a few rude ones and dont feel always LISTENED to when I say a previous seession really caused me to hurt. I'm in a wheelchair and just feel like they want me to go at their speed and I cant so then i dont want to even go and told dr so.

Fantastic experience: My son was involved in a car accident. He spent 51 days in a hospital. Thirty of those in Maddonna. When he arrived he was unable to speak, walk, feed, himself and incontinent. He walked out 30 days later. What a awesome place to be. I highly recommend .

Fantastic experience: After a life altering accident I was lucky to be able to go to Madonna Rehabilitation for my therapy needs. After only 2 months I was strong enough to return back home. Thank you to the wonderful people at Madonna for believing in me and pushing me to never give up!
