Fantastic experience: Excellent PT clinic, good office staff, love working with Zach. Very knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: My husband did PT with Lauren and Zach for over a month after his total knee replacement. Considering Dave had never set foot in a gym before, he did well! Lauren and Zach pushed him but just enough that he met his goals and he never once complained about going to PT. However, he did come home exhausted after each session!

Fantastic experience: Katie and Eric have been absolutely fantastic in the progression of my recovery following two back surgeries. They know when to push a bit harder and when to back off a little. I had no idea how weak I had become after being down for about 8 weeks post-op. My strength is back and I have the tools to continue in my recovery. They also incorporated some alternative methods in which I had great success I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this office to anyone. Thank you all for improving my quality of life!

Fantastic experience: Eric kicked my butt on the regular and i don't think my ankles have ever felt this strong. I came in after a ligament repair surgery and i have a rare protein disorder that makes a lot of my joints dislocate, and be was super involved in making sure i healed correctly and involved me in the treatment plan to give me skills for what I specific want to do with my body, not just generic exercises. Good dude, good place, this is my second time at Athletico after a surgery and I will go back if i need to in the future

Fantastic experience: I received PT for tendonitis of the shoulder. I was treated with respect by all the practitioners ( Jeff ( floater), Lauren Shiffman and Steven Hansen. Lauren was especially thorough in explaining the physiology and the treatment as I like to understand the body and the treatment. Thanks to all for helping me heal, gain strength and range of motion, and relieve pain!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about how wonderful this location was for my recovery. I had shoulder surgery on 3/10/2022, anyone that has gone through this process knows how painful the recovery process is. Eric and Katie were my therapist, from the massages to the therapy they we’re Amazing! Eric your knowledge and email exercises/ video direction were a huge part to my recovery. Working on sore spots to get me to the next level, explaining why I was hurting and even giving me the tools to take on mini vacations to continue my strength training really helped. Everyone is so nice and understand if you come in a day cranky because your hurting, they saw that from me more then once “I was a cry baby at first”they let you pout and put you to work, Thank you my friend. Katie your instruction and push to get me to the next level was great when I was feeling like I’d never get to the next level. “JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL” you guys know what that means lol. I highly suggest this location for any of your therapy needs I can’t say enough how blessed I feel.

Fantastic experience: Went here complaining of pain in my left knee. I was carefully examined. After this, I was given exercise especially targeting my left knee pain. The staff here was incredible, if your having a particular pain, then this is the place to go. Thanks athletico. Will make sure I recommend family and friends.

Fantastic experience: The folks that work here are the BEST!!! They are very professional, but also kind, caring, patient, & understanding. That's the "status quo" at this place. And Lauren is a super duper person and physical therapist! I have also worked with physical therapists Stephen & Jeff, who are great, and so is the receptionist, Jan. Never worked with Eric, but he is nice, too. However, Lauren went over & beyond when I became dizzy right before my therapy began. She placed a cold pack on my neck, got me some water, and was very comforting and accommodating. When the dizziness let up a little, she had me lay down in a darkened room with the cold pack still on my neck. Her concern was really touching. I was probably there for about 45 minutes or so, but still didn't fell well enough to drive. Lauren offered to take me home! It brought me to tears. Unfortunately, you don't find people of her caliber that much in the medical field. It's sad but true, and my friends echo the same sentiments. In contrast, Atheletico Physical Therapy, and especially Lauren, deserve big KUDOS! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been very impressed with Athletico Mesa East. I went there after my partial knee replacement in 2015 and was quickly back to full activity. Recently I went back after having episodes of severe debilitating back pain. Gary educated me about the spine and gave me some exercises. I did them sporadically and felt better so I stopped doing them. Unfortunately I had another episode of severe pain a few weeks later and returned to see Gary. He again took the time to educate me and gave me more exercises. After doing them religiously I have been pain free. I am now a believer in making the exercises and stretching a regular routine. THANK YOU GARY!!!

Fantastic experience: These guys are phenomenal PT caring people! I had shoulder replacement and these guys truly cut my recovery time by at least a month! Even my doctor was very amazed. Jeff, Lauren and Jan were the three I dealt with, Jeff and Lauren being the PTS. This isn't my first rodeo with physical therapy and these guys are the best!

Fantastic experience: My experience with Athletico was excellent. Jeff the PT was interested in what I had to say and then applied his knowledge to make my plan of care. Six weeks later I graduated, feeling much better. I was provided with exercises to do at home. I can’t say enough about Lauren PTA. She too is very knowledgeable and kind. Last but not least is Jan the wonderful person greeting you upon arrival, always welcoming and smiling. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for a couple of years. 2018 - back problems 2019 - Feb - broke left arm 2019 -Sept- broke right elbow and fractured pelvic bones Move forward to 2021. Plantar fasciitis in right heel- back again I will go. This is where I will go for therapy!! Close to my home and I am very happy with the treatment here. They are very competent, professional and easy to work with. I really appreciate the help I got/get here!

Fantastic experience: I would strongly recommend Athletico for your Physical Therapy needs. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The Physical Therapists were also friendly, and were very knowledgeable and experienced in general Physical Therapy and in my specific condition (recovering from reverse shoulder replacement surgery). They always pushed me to my limits to increase my range of motion, but were careful not to overdo anything. I saw good progress over my time there. I always felt like I was in good hands during my therapy.

From the receptionist, Jan, to the manager-therapist, Gary, and therapists, Lauren and Eric, all are great to work with and it’s obvious they have the patient’s wellness as their goal. They are all down to earth and enjoy each other and the environment at Athletico. If I need therapy again, I know where I’ll go!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff! They are all so helpful, kind & informative. They explain each exercise and how it will benefit you. I had most of my lower back fused and had little range of motion. I asked them to challenge me and they do when they know I"m ready. They have improved my stability, my strength and & my range of motion. I have more sessions left and I'm excited that by the end of therapy I'll have the movement & function I desire. The facility is very clean (they clean between each client) well lit, lots of windows for natural light and spacious. Best Physical Therapy organization I've experienced!

Fantastic experience: I was having shoulder pain and saw Gary who informed me it is Subacromial Impingement Syndrome (SIS). After 7 sessions, and doing the exercises at home that Gary assigned me, my shoulder pain and range of motion has improved dramatically. Gary is extremely knowledgeable, competent and professional. He really wants you to get better and will try different things to find what works for you. The rest of the staff is great too!

Fantastic experience: Excellent PT facility. From Jan at Intake to Lauren the PTA as well as Jeff the PT, everyone was phenomenal. I felt like from the very beginning all were concerned with addressing my concerns versus meeting performance objectives. Facility was clean and following excellent protocols during the pandemic. Amazing bedside manner and current processes and techniques were great for addressing my needs. Highly recommend this team as being top notch and committed to excellence in delivery of their services. That said, I highly recommend this team. Kudos to a job well done.

Fantastic experience: Our little Luna loves her bi weekly visits with her buddy Barry and it's made massive difference in her range of motion and her torticollis. Everyone is amazing and this is our 3rd go round with Athletico due to my husband's multiple surgeries. We love the entire staff, everyone is knowledgeable and caring and we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: After interviewing several companies, it was Athletico East Mesa I selected for my physical therapy after surgery. This was the best choice to make and I was very happy to go there. Jeff and Lauren make a fabulous TEAM to work with. They listen, problem solve, and give solid directional guidance all along the way. If I ever need additional physical therapy, Athletico - with Jeff and Lauren, I would be happy to have on my TEAM again to help me achieve great recovery success. Great job Jeff and Lauren. Fantastic experience: I have had lots of experiences with different physical therapists and by far Cole is my favorite! With physical therapy I feel like most of the time you see the physical therapist only when they work on you and then they pass you off to their helpers and don't really pay attention to you. A lot of the times it feels like they are just there to help you through the motions. Cole is just the opposite and it is AMAZING. He is very involved and keeps you progressing forward. He is always changing the exercises as you need and he makes you work hard. That hard works pays off and it helps you progress quickly. It is a very individual experience where you know that the exercise combinations are made just for you and it pays off. On top of all of that he has a wonderful team to help encourage you. Everyone is very friendly, very happy, and they want to help you succeed. I love this place and I would recommend it to anyone who needs physical therapy!! 10/10!
