Fantastic experience: I LOVE Foothills!!!Everyone there is so caring, fun, and helpful. I had a full knee replacement on December 8th and was able to be back to work on January 8th! I give the credit to this wonderful group of talented physical therapists and techs. I did physical therapy before my surgery to strengthen my knee, then immediately after. They were all with me helping me and encouraging me every step of the way. I think this has made all the difference in my successful outcome (I had a great surgeon too, of course). The therapists Doug, Jeff, and Darrell are all the best! Their staff from the welcoming helpful ladies at the front desk to the amazing techs in the back are awesome. I can’t thank them enough!

Fantastic experience: The staff was always friendly and attentive to my needs, my recovery was definitely alot faster and pain free, made it possible to gain my strength back faster. I was able to return to work after only 3 months out of surgery.

Fantastic experience: I’m 83 and have worked with Doug Rich and his staff for over a year. I do work on balance and light muscle training, to help prevent falls ( the death march for us older people) and to keep as active as possible. I’m a former Athlete from USC (58-61), so am familiar with rigorous training and associated staff. Doug and his staff not only helps me physically but also helps on my mental outlook. My Medicare and supplemental insurance pays for most of the costs. I think a lot of people over 65 aren’t aware of this Medicare benefit, but most of the people I know could greatly benefit. I plan to keep doing my twice a week program for as long as I can walk through the door.

Fantastic experience: After the dislocation of my shoulder more than a year ago I had my operation by Dr. AMINI @ the Core Institute in Phoenix. After the original healing process I came to the Foothills Sports Medicine facility in Mesa.AZ on North Power Rd. Many of my friends and acquaintances discouraged me telling me at my age of 73 there was almost no chance of getting back my original strength and flexibility in that shoulder. Well, I came to Foothills Sports Medicine many times for almost 6 months. With the help and experience in physical rehabilitation their Manager Doug Rich, as well as Therapist Jeff Eppler, along with 3 more physical therapists managed to get me completely back into shape as if I had never had the shoulder dislocated. Not only did they know how to manage my handicap and pain but, they also knew how to motivate me personally. I can't say enough positive about the facility. I will recommend anyone in any kind of poor physical condition to this facility. They are positive and will do everything in their power to make your life easier after an injury. Fantastic experience: After 10 weeks of PT, I am happy to say I am back to normal. I couldn’t be happier with my results. And I can’t say enough positive things about Foothills Sports Medicine at Power and Brown. First of all, the front desk receptionists were extremely friendly and efficient. Madison was awesome! After my initial assessments she greeted me every visit with a smile and very personal treatments, specific to my needs. She designed my exercises to treat my areas and each therapist who helped me through each session were top notch. The entire staff was excellent. And the facility was cleaned constantly and operated very professionally. I highly recommend Foothills especially this one! I can move again!

Fantastic experience: It was my first time going to a physical therapy clinic and the staff here was always so kind and patient with my progress. Doug helped me so much with improving my mobility and gaining my strength back after my car accident. He was so patient in explaining my exercises and helping me feel like I wasn't alone. He treated with so much attention and always showed concern towards my healing journey. I shared many great moments with Doug talking about great stories and the staff there! I am extremely lucky to find such a great place to feel comfortable in and be able to recover!

Fantastic experience: Doug is a very experienced knowledgeable physical therapist. I am 8 weeks into therapy after rotator cuff surgery and he has helped me improve every week. I like that he observes other areas that show up during recovery and works on that as well. I listen to what he tells me and I do my exercises at home as directed. I can't say enough good things about Doug and his team you will get great care.

Fantastic experience: Doug is an amazing PT. I've been to my fair share of physical therapists for treatment, and he is the first one who treated me like a whole person. Instead of just focusing on the presented injury, he looks at the entire body and how it's functioning. I always leave feeling better than when I came in. Also, the staff ensures you're treated promptly and doesn't waste your time by making you wait in the waiting area.

Positive experience: I am pleased with the professional manner exhibited by all the staff. I have felt some confidence that we were on the right track to getting back on the right footing. However, after 5 sessions I cannot say that any appreciable improvement has been realized. I hope in the next 2 sessions I will see some improvement to give me hope for the future. The staff definitely knows their stuff. It is, perhaps, just my body not ready or capable of responding in kind.

Fantastic experience: Doug just moved here and he is a fantastic physical therapist ... I am a dance nut and once in a while have different problems. I've seen him (along with about 1/2 a dozen of my students) over the last 11 years or so, and he is always fantastic! He has a great insight into the body and your problem, and can diagnose and treat with incredible insight.

Fantastic experience: I've recently started going here from another Foothills location. I was quite happy at the old location but the therapist changed hours and the Power Road location is much closer for me. I was very impressed with the way I was welcomed, with the thorough analysis done to see not just what the problem is but also what other bio-mechanical components might be impacting my problem. After that, and after additional treatments, I've been continually reevaluated to see how the treatment is working and how it might need to be adjusted. They've been very open to my feedback as well and have change the treatment accordingly. I'm most happy to recommend them.
