Empower Physical Therapy: Mesa Red Mountain

Fantastic experience: I had my right knee replacement in October 2023 and started my Physical Therapy 3 days after my surgery. I was apprehensive to start my PT so soon, worrying about the pain. My first day was my evaluation with Fernando and one of his student Therapist. They made me feel comfortable explaining the complete process of PT. I began working with the staff Therapist's and with their expertise and support I began to build my strength and mobility in my right knee. I did the work but they gave me all the tools I needed to succeed. Empower at Mesa Red Mountain is just the best. Everyone is so positive and supportive. I will be having my left knee replacement in Jan 2024 and will have my consult with Fernando 3 days after surgery. I have no apprehensions this time and look forward to another successful PT session. I highly recommend Empower Mesa Red Mountain.

Fantastic experience: Empower has been the best physical therapy facility I have been to. They have improved my shoulder with strength and flexibility. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use Empower for their physical Therapy needs. I’m sorry yes

Fantastic experience: Gerat experience! My program was tailored directly for my needs following back surgery. I was always encouraged to go at my own pace I never felt hurried to complete my exercises in a certain amount of time. Very clean facility. Staff was friendly and we all got to know one another. I never felt like just a number. I would recommend Empower Physical Therapy to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I went to Empower Physical Therapy after recovering from cancer and being bed ridden for a bit, needed to regain strength and deal with a hurting hip and back. Everyone at Empower was wonderful to work with, encouraging and so knowledgeable! I had dry needling done in my hip and back, it helped the pain in my hip especially so I am not hurting there anymore! I can't say enough about the staff being so nice and fun to be around. They made physical therapy enjoyable while I healed and improved. If I ever have to go back to phys therapy I will go to Empower. Thank you Fernando, Erica, Carly and everyone I can't remember the name of :) for helping me to be a better me!

Fantastic experience: Empower Red Mountain is an amazing place with amazing physical therapists. I was in Mesa visiting my Son and Daughter-in-law for 3 weeks to heal after rotator cuff surgery and was blessed to receive the best therapy from a caring team. You definitely become their friend in a short amount of time. So welcoming. I would love to stay to finish my therapy with Empower but must return to Indiana.Hugs on my last visit. Fantastic experience: Great place to receive PT. Greg and Fernando and all staff, my physical are very knowledgeable and has educated me in how to actually support my own healing and proper techniques to improve my tendinitis in my rotator cuff. I truly appreciate the time taken to listen to my concerns and offered me a true understanding of how to maintain and relieve the pain. Physical therapy and proper education in excercises have actually supported my recovery and help maintain stability and has decreased visits to a chiropractor. I'm so thankful for the help. The staff at Empower are so nice and caring. It's so true, the more work you put in the better you will feel. I couldn't of done it without their expertise. Do not under estimate the dry needling offered. It tremendously decreased my pain and helped with release of tension rapidly. I highly recommend it. Thank you to all the staff and leads!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Empower Physical Therapy Mesa! The atmosphere in the clinic is always happy and fun and the team is so welcoming. Erica, Fernando and Greg are knowledgeable therapists who are positive and make sure you have the correct form while exercising for the best benefit. Rachel, Rebecca and Carly are sociable, funny and supportive and do the exercises with you which makes the time go by quickly. I always feel at home here and thank the entire staff for all they do!

Fantastic experience: Truly cannot thank the Empower team enough. Greg, Erica, Fernando, Rachel, Rebecca, and Carly were all so kind and invested in my recovery. Getting injured can be very stressful and the idea of going to PT can feel like an uphill climb, but I always felt encouraged and taken care of when I came to my appointments. Not only that, but doing my at-home exercises truly made a difference. I'm eslwcially grateful for the personalized attention Greg and Erica gave to my recovery and making sure exercises were always challenging and worth my time. Fantastic experience: I have been having problems with my left shoulder for over a year and was referred to Empower PT on Brown & Recker to try and relieve the pain I have been dealing with. I must say the team here and especially Jody have been great. Not only do they address your issues, they explain everything they are doing and why so I understand what is wrong and what needs to be addressed and how what we are doing will help. Fantastic experience: I have really appreciated the care from the whole staff@ Empower. The techs are fun and sociable. The therapists are knowledgeable and considerate. You can tell they enjoy their work. I would 100% suggest trying them out if you need PT.

Fantastic experience: Excellent place for Physical Therapy!! The staff Fernando, Dodie, Rachel,Jodi, and Holly all are very professional and make something that you really don't want to do a fun experience. Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place!!! They have amazing therapists and assistants! They are all so very positive and motivating and helpful, they really make sure you’re doing the exercises correctly so you get the best out of your therapy! I broke my shoulder last fall and lost all of my movement and muscle and within a few months I’m back to basically 100% again- I could not have healed as efficiently without their help and guidance! They truly want the best for their patients and do a fantastic hands on job of helping you heal and regain mobility and keep a positive mindset throughout! I look forward to my PT appointments every week just for how happy I feel when I enter and leave! And as they say ‘it hurts today, it works tomorrow ‘ 10/10 definitely recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Empower is the place to be for rehab of any surgeries or injuries. This is my second time for recovery. Once 4 years ago a knee replacement and now a hip replacement! Fernando and his team of assistants are wonderful and work together for your improvement! I can't say enough on the caring and friendly environment! Fantastic experience: When my doctor recommended physical fitness for my neck pain, I thought it would be a waste of time. I assumed I probably had arthritis in my neck like my mom, and I would just have to learn to live with the pain. I was sure wrong! The staff at Empower Physical Therapy, Jodi in particular, went a long way to make sure that I was able to get rid of my pain. The physical therapists and therapist assistants I worked with were amazing. All of them were personable, cared about me, and made sure I got what I needed for recovery. I absolutely cannot believe the difference. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: I have been to many PT offices through my years, which are many, and was never a believer UNTIL finding Empower after total knee replacement. From the minute your walk through the door through the whole process you are surrounded by friendly, kind staff who make you feel welcome and important. The therapists are excellent! They are highly qualified, they listen to you, do a thorough evaluation and develop the perfect plan for you. If there is something that is bothering you they will deviate from the plan and focus on that. They do everything to make your journey a SUCCESS, and also have great sense of humors. The staff work together like a finely tuned clock! Empower is THE BEST PT office I have ever experienced! You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Empire Physical Therapy at Mesa Red Mountain has its act together. I had a hip replacement, and the staff put together exercises and workout routines that have greatly helped me pull myself out of a dark place (where I thought I'd never heal) to a happy place (where I am healing very well). The staff is well organized and friendly. My workouts were kept to one hour, which I appreciated. I was able to plan my day accordingly. I give a shout out to Jodi who really knows her stuff. I always felt the staff had my personal health as their priority at each of my appointments. I highly recommend this group.

Fantastic experience: My experience with this location has been wonderful. I've worked with Sara and Kendall a lot and they are very kind and know how to make you smile. Physical therapy isn't fun on its own but these ladies know how to keep things light hearted and are great about checking in with you to make sure your doing ok. As someone who tends not to speak up and just deals with discomfort and/or pain I really appreciate their attentiveness. They really listen to what your struggling with and adjust your exercises as needed. I'm glad I found this location and I'm greatful to have these two ladies working with me to keep me motivated.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been having back pain and problems for years and Jodi has been so attentive and helpful. She’s so hands on during PT and is very kind to patients. The whole team is very nice and the music in the clinic is fantastic (think Rob Orbison and The Eagles). Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My BEST and most SUCCESSFUL experience in PT!! Jody was my PT several years ago after a car accident so i was EXCITED to see her at Empower. Sarah, Kendall and Rachel are all equally wonderful! the team communicates well with each other and with their clients. though this may sound cliche, they REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS!!

Fantastic experience: It’s so easy to write a review when there’s nothing but praise for Jodi and her team of assistants! I’ve been to Empower PT of Mesa many times, as I’ve managed to stay active from my teens into my 70’s…and they keep fixing me up, so I can continue to stay active! There’s always a positive outcome from my PT visits, thanks to Jodi’s direction for all of my treatment…so all I need to do is to relax and let them work their ‘magic’...and they do!!

Very knowledgeable, patient and positive staff from the front desk to all of the therapists. I found the facility and overall environment a very conducive way to get the proper exercise needed to quickly get my back where it needs to be. Fantastic experience: The whole staff is just wonderful. They are all so friendly, while keeping a high level of customer service. Kendall mans the front desk and works with patients, starting them off with their therapeutic exercises. All the Physical therapists there are great. I worked with Will and he was wonderful. On my first visit, he evaluated my range of motion and my level of pain. He stretched out the muscles and nerves in my neck and shoulders and over the next several days, my condition improved drastically. He asked questions about how I was feeling, how I felt about my progress and encouraged me every step of the way. He listens without interrupting and he recognized when I was getting tired or having difficulty with the exercises. As I improved, he evaluated my needs and adjusted the number of sessions accordingly. I would highly recommend Empower for your Physical therapy needs.

My experience with Empower PT in Mesa with Sara have been exceptional. No other person was able to explain why I hurt and how to correct it. I am so grateful for their expertise. Fantastic experience: I required some physical Therapy for a neck problem. My doctor had already picked a PT clinic for me. I looked on line for a place that was close to our home. Almost all places I found on line had no more than 3 stars. I trusted my instinct with the PT office where my doctor had already sent my orders. I went to the Empower on Recker and Brown in Mesa. Right when I opened the door, I felt welcomed. Both Linda and Tammy were very nice and patient. They continue to be very kind and helpful as I am still having PT. My PT’s Jodi and Jordan, are both considerate, knowledgeable, and helpful with my PT. It is nice that Jodi has a great sense of humor. That is refreshing. I recommend them highly. Another PT staff member Kendall, was also helpful at my last visit. I recommend Empower Physical Therapy for for your needs with your rehabilitation to regain or improve physical abilities.

Fantastic experience: I just started my PT sessions a week ago and am really pleased with them. The receptionist Linda is very nice. Jodi my physical therapist is very good. She is kind and makes you feel very relaxed and helps you with your different routines she asks you to do. And if you are not doing them just quite right she corrects you in a good way. Fantastic experience: When searching for a physical therapy clinic I looked for a particular therapist that I’d worked with before-Jodi Pierce. Luckily for me, I found her at Empower PT-Mesa. The work that she did with me this time was every bit as successful as with the two previous injuries. On the professional side, I found Jodi to be detailed, results-focused, well-experienced and educated. On the personal side, I found her to be very personal, friendly, warm, and funny. You’ll find her entertaining as well as professional. The support staff there is equally friendly and professional...with a special shout out to Kendall (she’s awesome)! If the treatment that I described above is what you’re looking for, I highly recommend Empower PT-Mesa and especially Jodi Pierce.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place should you ever need Physical Therapy. I worked with Kyle, McKenna, and Kayla. They know just what to do and how it will impact your progress. I had total knee replacement and with their expertise, I was released 5 weeks after the surgery. The staff is wonderful. They are warm, friendly, and take an interest in you! I give them 5 stars because they are that good!
