Fantastic experience: After my ACL surgery in 2022, I consistently worked with Matt and Sam for several months. I went to the downtown location and the Edina office on the rare occasion. They were unbelievably friendly, kind, and attentive. They really care about your health, help you work through challenges, and encourage you to stay on track. The receptionist was also really wonderful and helpful with scheduling. I never had an issue with getting in contact with the office or hearing back. The only reason I stopped coming here was because I moved to the upper east side of St Paul and it was too hard to commute that far while my dog needed extra care. I highly recommend this practice. Matt, Sam, and the staff there are amazing!

Fantastic experience: I had a complex problem: the failure of a single nerve activating my right heel put unusual strain on my entire leg and lower back, rendering me incapable of walking more than a few hundred yards without severe pain. Dr. Matthew Siefert and Samantha Kisrow, through analysis, treatment, encouragement and sheer persistence over the course of seven months, returned me to as close to normal as I am likely to get, given that the nerve, doctors tell me, will never regenerate. They developed, evaluated and adjusted a program of exercises that have eliminated all but the occasional and transient pain in my leg and back. It was their dedication to finding a solution that most impressed me. Their invariably cheerful and friendly receptionist made each visit, though sometimes fatiguing, a pleasure.

Their knowledge regarding physical therapy is second to none, and instructions provided ensured my shoulder healed properly. I have incorporated the exercises they recommended in my daily life. Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Brett Johnson and could not have been happier with my experience. After listening to my concerns attentively, he made sure to give me personalized recommendations which not only helped me recover from my pain but also taught me a lot. I also greatly appreciated that he was honest about my recovery being a long process and that he just gave me the tools I needed, without trying to bring me in for unnecessary appointments. Fantastic experience: I just wanted to thank Ortho Rehab as a whole. Especially Julia, and Ali. I have lived with pain for 18 years. Starting when I was 19 y.o. after a traumatic event I suffered while serving in the Army. Due to the nature of the issue and timing of what happened, I had to leave the military with no benefits. The pain had already begun, but got much worse when I got out, and every week pain, turned into daily pain, and that turned into another animal when I saw that so much time had slipped by, and started question how I would provide for my family missing so much work and being stuck in a rut. I tried another Local Rehab place in the area and was immediately put off by the lack of confidence this person had while working with me, it was like blood in the water and the cool packet of stretches they gave me were no different than anything else I had tried, faith was lost. I waited about a year and a half to try again, and hit Gold Immediate with you folks at Ortho Rehab. The staff was inspiring for me in a very difficult time, and wanted to gain my confidence in the routines. They made sure to give me as many options as they could come up with when I felt like something wasn't working right, or wasn't sure If I was doing it right (probably more importantly). THIS EXPERIENCE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! I had to couple it with Therapy as I was also diagnosed with PTSD with pre-existing trauma. but whenever my PTSD gets bad I use the body tension tools that they taught me and I'm always on my way. I went from pain nearly every day that was driving me insane literally, to just 2 occurrences I can thing of in the last 5-6 months. (and that is not because of them, I lost my job and benefits due to the health issues I was experiencing - PTSD and depression dont heal themselves, but again, the tools they gave me have helped incredibly! I just got my insurance back today! I will be looking to make some follow up appointments so I can keep on the right track, but 2 instances in 6mos, is a change I thought I would never see, and I really owe that to you guys! Thank you so much, I cant wait to shoot you guys some in person Hi Fives!

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my physical therapy from OrthoRehab. I had heard the many horror stories around a ruptured achilles tendon, so when it happened to me, I expected the worst. And it truly is a horrible injury. Although, I'm confident I recovered faster (extremely faster) than average due to Brett and the team's protocol. I went into physical therapy with the somewhat insane goal of running a marathon less than nine months post-op. While Brett and team recognized it was certainly a stretch, he appreciated my determination and helped me strive for this crazy goal. Realistic expectations were set, but hope was always promoted. It felt as if I had a personal trainer throughout this long recovery; someone who pushed you when you needed to be pushed, but balanced it with smart, progressive and mindful activity. It took tons and tons of work, but I was able to accomplish my goal and finished Grandma's Marathon this past June, less than nine months since my surgery. Knowing the pain and the complete disability that initially comes with this injury, there certainly was a level of luck and lots of hard work, but I know I would not have been able to even run a mile, let alone a full marathon, without Brett and team's help.

Fantastic experience: After nearly 6 months of dealing with a horrific back injury that baffled doctor after doctor, I found OrthoRehab with a google search. I thought to myself "well it can't get any worse, so lets give it a shot". This was one of the best decisions that I have ever made for myself and for my health. I am in Minnesota for school and we had some issues getting my insurance to cover my visits. I worked with many receptionists for weeks to sort out my insurance issue. They could have easily dismissed me because I was so difficult to work in, but they persisted. When I finally got in for a visit with Brett, literally everything changed. We talked for almost the entire hour about how I got to where I was. He not only validated my pain, but he made me feel like there was still hope, even after my long journey with little results. The people here at OrthoRehab are so genuine and kind. They remember little details that you tell them weeks before. For my final visit, they asked me how my new job was, and I hadn't been there for almost a month! You truly feel like the only patient and the top priority here. I cannot thank the OrthoRehab team enough for making me pain free and for allowing me to become more optimistic. I highly recommend coming in for a visit! I know this sounds like a cheesy infomercial, but I'm actually a real person and this was my real experience. If you are experiencing any pain, pay them a visit. You will not regret it.

The staff at OrthoRehab was able to alleviate my pain and provided me with the tools to ensure a positive prognosis in the long-term. The clinic has specialists in most areas of the body, a well credentialed and experienced staff; and lastly were conveniently located for me. I have recommended OrthoRehab to a number of colleagues.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Julia at Ortho Rehab. As a woman of color, we are statistically under-treated for pain symptoms. I came in with a lot of stiffness and pain in my lower back and she was beyond patient with me, and took time to listen and help. Fantastic experience: Not quite knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised at the calm, friendly and caring atmosphere from the moment I arrived and upon meeting my therapist, Matt how we would proceed. Over the course of several weeks with ultrasound, laser, massage and exercise, my "angry toe!" became less angry. Now I can say that throughout most of my day, I don't even think about it. Everyone at the office was lovely, kind and professional. I would highly recommend Matt and the rest of the staff at the Medical Arts building to any of my friends and colleagues! Fantastic experience: Their care is top notch. The doctor I saw said I'd be out of athletic activity for a minimum of 6-12 weeks after a severe bone bruise that caused extensive swelling. They had me back at things within 1.5 weeks! Julia, Brent and Ali are fabulous. Very personable and they care about getting you better. They actually remember your name and things about you. It is clear that personal relationships matter to them. Note: you always have a choice of who to see for PT. OrthoRehab is much better than the big health systems PT that I've tried (which include Mayo, Tria, and Health Partners). Also, you do not need a referral necessarily to go to OethoRehab.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at OrthoRehab specialists. I came in with minor pain in my right knee. I worked very closely with Matt. He helped design an exercise routine that helped strengthen my knee. Their app platform made it easy to view the exercises and notes personalized to my needs. It only took me a few sessions to heal. I left the building feeling pain free and stronger. Everyone on site is very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend OrthoRehab Specialists and would go back.

Fantastic experience: I wish I would've made an appointment sooner! Matt worked with me on sports-related Sciatic nerve pain, and had me feeling great. As an active person, he hooked me up with great exercises to keep me safe at the gym/on the field and to prevent any future injuries. Even my friends have commented on how great my posture is now (who knew there would be side benefits??). I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I started at Ortho Rehab a few months ago for some shoulder pain and plantar fasciitis. After working with Matt, my foot is 100% and my shoulder is well on the way to perfect. He gave me great advice on how not to aggravate the irritation in my shoulder and exercises to strengthen the supporting muscles. I feel totally capable to take it from here! Matt gave me all the tools!

Fantastic experience: Best rehab out there! We have both used the Minneapolis and Edina clinics for multiple issues and wouldn't hesitate referring either clinic. The treatment and care is phenomenal. The staff is happy, courteous and kind and really mentor you through your rehab with the proper treatment and encouragement. In Tammy's more complicated case, there was even collaberation among the staff to come up with an effective treatment plan. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I've been running for over 26 years and developed achilles tendinitis so that i couldn't run a 5k without 2-days of pain afterwards. I came to OrthoRehab Specialists with a half-marathon in 2 months. The PT I was given by Matt was excellent! He explained the exercises well and the other therapies worked very well. I have no pain now and was able to run the half-marathon without any trouble. Very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend Matt to any runners with the same problem!
