AirOn Physical Therapy (AirOn PT) is a therapist and family-owned physical therapy and acupuncture practice founded in 2008 by Doctor Eliseu Nascimento, DPT. We are located at 225 McWhorter Street Newark, inside the 14,000sq ft state of the art Evolution Fitness Gym.

AirOn Physical Therapy (AirOn PT) is a therapist and family owned physical therapy and acupuncture practice founded in 2008 by Doctor Eliseu Nascimento, DPT.  AirOn PT was born to outreach and better serve our emerging immigrant community with outstanding Physical Therapy and Acupuncture.  Our goal is to provide the highest quality rehabilitation therapy and promote the wellness of the Newark community.  Our practitioners and staff are fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

We are located at 225 McWhorter Street Newark, inside the 14,000sq ft state of the art Evolution Fitness Gym.  Here our patients have access to HOIST Equipment. HOIST Fitness Systems is a San Diego, California based company which have developed the best rehabilitation equipment using ride oriented exercise (ROX).  HOIST enables our patients to strengthen certain muscle groups with proper body alignment avoiding straining other body parts.  This is especially crucial to our post surgical patients.

Eliseu Nascimento is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and founder of AirOn Physical Therapy.  He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Santa Ursula University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992.  Eliseu continued with his studies in Canterbury, England where he received his Masters of Science in Conservation Biology from the University of Kent.  Eliseu always felt passionate about healthcare which lead him to obtain his doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro College in New York City. 

Today, Eliseu specializes in orthopedic, post surgical and sports medicine.  He has worked with professional athletes and marathon runners as well as weekend warriors. 

Moira graduated from George Washington University in Washington DC and went on to receive Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College in New York.  Moira has over 10 years experience in Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine.

Moira treats a wide variety of orthopedic and sports related injuries as well as internal medicine issues.  She also implements acupuncture and oriental medicine to help with stress management, anxiety and depression.

Previously, Tati had earned a Business Administration degree from Baruch College in NYC. However, she later changed gears and went back to school to pursue her true passion to help others improve their lives, and became a physical therapist.

Tati joined AirOn PT in 2015. Her clinical interests include orthopedic rehabilitation, post-operative care, and preventative healthcare.  Using a combination of patient education, manual therapy, exercise and modalities, Tati strives to create the best-customized plan of care for each of her patients.
