Fantastic experience: The staff couldn’t be more helpful starting from the reception desk to the 6th floor were i had to see my patient. I liked the way the staff treating the patients on the 6th floor . Thank you fir being there for patients and vendors.

Positive experience: Ms. Elizabeth doe house keeping, but I swear I see her duties, just cause she loves her job, a definitely needs to be recognized. She’s a sweetheart, an I look forward to seeing her every time I visit my dad here because she always brightens up our day

Fantastic experience: Overall beautiful place. The staff is beyond attentive, compassionate, dedicated and dependable.The main person who I would love to acknowledge is Sandra Beckford because she always goes above and beyond for every patient/resident she encounters. She has a remarkably caring, loving and understanding spirit. She’s extremely compassionate about her position here at New Vista and the patients/residents light up when they see her come their way. She takes the time out to actually engage and sit with the people here. I’m definitely grateful for her all that she has done on behalf of me and my mom while she was a patient/resident here.

Fantastic experience: My uncle got dementia and wondered off he was missing for 3 years I called nursing homes and hospitals and couldnt locate him until I spoke with the admission director at new vista (Anita Pickett)She went above and beyond and assisted me finding him even though she didn’t know me or him . She was able to locate him at another nursing home I was finally relieved. Calling new vista turned out to be the best decision. I transferred my uncle to new vista and he has never been happier. The staff really is remarkable

Fantastic experience: This facility is best in Class! They have the best staff who really care for their residents. How many times do you see an Administrator who knows all of his residents by name and takes the time to know each and everyone one of them. You should be happy to know your loved ones are in good hands.

Positive experience: I just don't like where I am at need better care

Fantastic experience: I am writing this just 3 hours after learning of the passing of my grandmother. Although I have many things to get done, I feel it is extremely important to show the gratitude we have for all who a part in caring for her. In February my grandmother became unable to live and care for herself, my family and I contacted New Vista and spoke with Jamie. Jamie was a huge sigh of relief at a very difficult time in our lives and the life of my grandmother. She worked diligently and quickly to place my grandmother. The day came for us to transfer her from her home to New Vista, Jamie met us as we arrived and lead us to 3 West, there we met Wendy McDaniel’s and some of the staff. She was made to feel at home, although she was hesitant about staying and I am sure and afraid she stayed. They were so loving and caring. I live in Florida and had traveled to NJ for this, in the months following I returned several times, one for a hip fracture, they were again amazing at getting her back up on her feet after her surgery and making her feel loved and cared for. Throughout the time she was there she had a couple health issues and needed to be hospitalized, they were very quick to call me and keep me posted on how she was doing on a daily basis. The last trip was in June after they noticed her color was off and they worked quickly and ordered blood work and called an ambulance. The phone call I received from the hospital was devastating and I flew to NJ again to meet with the medical staff, “your grandmother has Stage 4 Pancreatic and Liver cancer” after being given several options as to where she would go, we decided she would return to New Vista as there was nothing they can do for her medically, at that time I inquired about Hospice and made the decision for her to receive Hospice care at New Vista. Wendy and the staff worked closely with Hospice to make sure that she would spend the days she had left being cared for, loved and comfortable. My only negative experience was with Dr. Hubert, I will not get into those details as I handled them while I was there. I know this is a super long review but definitely needed. Simon (one of her Nurses) is absolutely the most compassionate and caring human being I have met and will be forever grateful for the care (not just medically) but the personal care you gave her, the hugs, the conversations and the jokes they would tell each other. Wendy your love and attention will never be forgotten. In short, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I do not know everyone’s name, as there are so many of you who showed her so much care, love and compassion. She lived a great life, we are very sad but at peace knowing she spent her last days being loved. Thank you, The Valdes and Couto family.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Staff!! And a super luxurious clean facility..

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but great things to say about New Vista as I have a long term history here. I have developed my career here. I was only 18 years old when I was hired as a CNA. This facility gave me the opportunity to continue studying for my RN license while working assisting me with schedule and income. They worked with my schedule with only one condition that I’d always prioritize the residents. They were great to me satisfying all of my needs while I was serving their residents with great pleasure. I was also trained as an RN here with an experience that took me to succeed further into hospitals and now in a specialized nursing field. It’s amazing that I still go there to serve them. New Vista will always keep a stamp into my heart wherever I go. I found my passions, my career, and great co workers here. They reinforce to everyone working for the facility the their priority is always the resident. As long as we as employees do that they will help anyone to succeed in whatever they do.

Fantastic experience: The staff’s dedication to resident care is commendable with their focus for holistic care. Striving to always do better, I appreciate the hard work of many staff. Hope they continue to make their residents the top priority.

Fantastic experience: The staff I work with everyday at New Vista are hard working and caring. It makes my job easier. They genuinely care about the residents assigned to them.
