Fantastic experience: Jake is very knowledgable and friendly and is a great PT. The facility is nice and clean. Not very crowed which let me to being treated like an actual individual instead of a number. I had both knees replaced and made great advancement from the time I started to the time left. It was a very rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter came in in a lot of pain and scared. Jake took as long as necessary to calm her down and ensure she was comfortable with her course of treatment. Couldn't have been happier.

Fantastic experience: I've been living with severe nerve pain in my right hamstring for 17 years related to my spinal cord injury. I've seen dozens of pain specialists who pretty much have the same concensus: just live with it because there's nothing that can be done for you except upping your narcotics dosage. I hate taking narcotics and they stopped working anyways because my tolerance got so high. Even the maximum dosage of Fentanyl became ineffective. Except my last pain doctor. He suggested letting Jake see if he could help. My leg pain now hangs around a number 2 instead of a number 10 on the pain scale with no medications thanks to Jake. He does ultrasound massage and cup therapy with some stretching twice a week and it is truely the only relief I get from this nightmare of a nemesis I've been living with for so long. I wish I would have met Jake a long time ago.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Horizon Rehabilitation for acute and chronic back problems. It's a very comforting atmosphere. Jake and May treat me like an old friend when I arrive and soon I'm doing the work with Jake at my side advising and teaching. It seems like no time at all and the sessions are over. I have no problem giving these two dedicated people my highest recommendation.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to other physical therapy places, even tried aqua therapy. Never have I had the rapid progress and intense healing that I received here! Horizon is different. They cater my homework progressively to the specific area that I need to work on. After making sure I understand how to do each exercise correctly, targeting exactly what that exercise was designed to target, we focus on other things during my scheduled consultation, not repeating the same thing I’m doing at home, like other physical therapy places. This allows me to progress much more rapidly than standard physical therapy. Plus Horizon focuses on more than just strength building the large muscle groups. They began working on stability and rebuilding damaged areas. I’ve recommended Horizon to friends, family and coworkers because my physical progress is proof that Horizon is different and Horizon physical therapy really works!

Fantastic experience: I had a total knee pelacement 8 weeks ago and started PT with Jake two days after hospital discharge. I would rate my treatment as a 5 + . My progress was beyond my expectations, and my surgeon said I was ahead of schedule. With hard work and explanation and encouragement from Jake, I was able to resume many activities sooner than I thought. Thanks also for the pleasant atmosphere in your facility . That helped a lot, as I saw both of you three times a week.

Fantastic experience: I had a full knee replacement and am more than happy with the therapy I received from Jake over an 8 week period. I learned so much from Jake to understand what was happening with my knee during the healing process in conjunction with the therapy for my mobility. I rate the office on 90th and Burt at a 5+++. I will be back for my second knee replacement!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Horizon with Jake was fantastic. I wish I could give him 10 stars because he deserves it! I’ve suffered from severe pain for decades and it’s impact on my quality of life has been extremely challenging in all ways. I lived my life primarily in my recliner. The pain disabled me physically, but because of it, emotionally as well. Jake helped me recover from several surgical procedures over a period of several months while leading me steadily to become stronger and build my stamina and endurance. He taught me SO much about the mind/body connection which relieved my physical pain. But for me, just as important, it helped relieve the emotional anguish I had about my pain filled life. He is an extremely knowledgeable, upbeat, compassionate physical therapist. I’ve had several and I have never experienced such positive change. You have to do the work it takes to progress and bring about the pain relief. You do your part and the people at Horizon will definitely do theirs. I thank God daily for the progress I’ve made. Oh, and by the way, I don’t live in a recliner anymore.
