Athletico Physical Therapy - Northwest Omaha

Fantastic experience: This February I had unexpected hip surgery and was prescribed PT for my healing journey. I started at Athletico with Lauren and I had an absolutely amazing experience with her and the staff. They are all so patient and understanding, and greet you by name when you walk in even if you’ve never had a session with them. Lauren was always so knowledgeable about my condition and helped me improve so much over this year. Towards the end of my treatment for my hip surgery, I had to have back surgery. During that time I had to stop my regular appointments and wait to continue new ones after my post-surgery healing period. Every single staff member wished me well and Lauren said she would be there when I was ready to get back. I just completed PT for my hip and back today and it is an understatement to say how sad I am to be graduating! I will miss everyone so dearly. They really truly care for all their patients. Such a professional yet fun little community to be a part of; I can’t recommend it enough.

Fantastic experience: A note about Athletico at 132nd and Maple. I have received help from them after 3 surgeries and to improve my balance for safety. They are always curtious, kind and attentive to my specific needs. They never push to hard, but they somehow encourage me to work harder than I think I can. The atmosphere is calming, with a dose of humor and hard work. If needed, I will return for any physical therapy I need in the future.

Fantastic experience: AthletiCo is very good with my kiddo. My kid doesn't always like to go to physical therapy, but the physical therapists make it fun and they enjoy it.

Fantastic experience: I recently chose Athletico Physical Therapy to assist with the recovery of a my left rotator cuff. I've had the similar surgery years ago on my right and had an idea of what to expect. Tom was wonderful to work with, and highly recommend for any PT. One thing I looked forward to was their wide variety of poll questions they have from your guess who would win the collage world series, to your favorite ice cream shop.

Fantastic experience: Second time I’ve had to have physical therapy this year! Very clean equipment and environment. Employees greet my husband and me each time we walk in the door. Therapists are quite knowledgeable working with my specific needs. They encourage me to do my very best and acknowledge my efforts to improve my health.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my therapy with Athletico and am so pleased I went. It's my 'go to' neighborhood physical therapy clinic if ever needed again! Lauren was outstanding in planning my therapy for my maisonneuve injury for my severe sprain of my ankle. Challenging me when ready to strengthen my ankle and giving me a great start to living a good life with two strong legs. Thank you so much!! 5 stars for sure!

Fantastic experience: I came to Athletico Physical Therapy - Northwest Omaha for a sports related hip injury. I started off with a free assessment given by Lauren Pfeifer. She listened carefully to fully assess what was going on so she could make a personalized treatment plan that focused on eliminating pain and reducing the risk of future injuries. She helped me make it through the summer softball season before I had to have my labrum repaired in my hip for the second time. During my 6-month recovery Lauren set up a treatment plan that included manual therapy, exercises to strengthen and increase the range of motion in my hip, and agility exercises. She make physical therapy enjoyable and fun. Everyone at Athletico Omaha NW was very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt they genuinely cared about me and my progress. After 6 months I am feeling good and ready to get back to softball all thanks to Lauren! I would highly recommend Lauren Pfeifer at Athletico Physical Therapy - Northwest Omaha as well as Tom and Austin.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience after a bad accident. I spent a year with Austin and Tom and they did great things for me. Both have their own style to get you the best results. Appreciate their attention to detail and breaking things down so you can understand and apply it.

Fantastic experience: After injuring my back due to a fall in February, I went to a chiropractor for 2 months and didn't see any improvement (continuing to have back flare ups that prevented me from working). I was in extreme pain when I began seeing the Athletico team. I must admit I was reluctant to go to physical therapy because I knew how much work it was, and I was looking for the easy solution. (I had been in an accident many years ago & had done chiropractic and physical therapy treatment for eons.) Austin & Lauren were amazing (and the other Austin & Jake who helped me)! They have such great attitudes and never made me feel bad about what I could or couldn't do with my limitations. I started there for pain management and left with core strengthening in my lower back to prevent such injuries in the future. Austin even helped me to get out of my comfort zone & encouraged me to attend a concert a couple of weeks ago to see one of my favorite singers! While it wasn't easy physically to stand for so long, this wouldn't have been possible to do when I was having my flare ups. I always have Austin & Lauren's voices in my head! Merci beaucoup mes amis!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Athletico has been very helpful to me. They gave me specific exercises to help my knees work more efficiently. I plan to continue the suggested exercises Lauren gave me to do at home. I would recommend this facility to any of my friends or family!!

Fantastic experience: I have worked with Tom and his staff for many year and on every body part except the feet. They are alway very kind and respect to everyone. They know how to and how far to push you to get the best results. They understand the bad days and little setbacks but always give the encouragement that is needed. Tom has gone to surgery with me after some complications so he could better understand what was done to me so he could have the correct therapy waiting for me when I went to him. I don’t know of anyone else who does that.

Fantastic experience: My experience having Lauren as a physical therapist at Athletico was wonderful. She explained everything fully and understandably. She printed off all exercises for me, was prompt, friendly and fun to work with. Other staff members were excellent as well. My pain improved a great deal after going there. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old son loves his PT! The staff are GREAT!! Lauren makes everything so fun and all the other staff are so encouraging and helpful. He has made so much progress and is so happy. We are very thankful for all the fun activities to help our son get back to his happy and healthy self. Would for sure recommend them to everyone. Fantastic experience: Clean, friendly and super knowledgeable staff. I primarily worked with Andy, but had the pleasure of being treated by Austin and Tom, as well. Any PT can walk you through exercises and give you a treatment plan, but I felt that each of these therapists took a genuine interest in my life and well-being. Their ability to establish a caring and authentic report encouraged me to do my homework and the wrist pain I had originally experienced was gone within 6-8 sessions. They are all extremely flexible and Emily was always understanding of my needs for schedule changes! With the kind of work I do, I'm sure I will be using them frequently in the coming years and urge anyone who is looking for a great therapist to get treatment here. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Tom and his staff are excellent. Everyone here is always friendly and truly cares about you getting better. They helped me rehab an ankle injury, and I was able to get full functionality back. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: For those of you who read this review trust and believe I'm going to tell you exactly what I think about my experience at Athletico. I have no reason to do otherwise. OMG! Tom and his crew are outstanding! I kid you not. Everyone (including Emily who for a time was the receptionist) is very personable, polite, kind and on top of their game. For real for real. There wasn't any question I had regarding my shoulder replacement and my body's reaction to the procedure that Tom couldn't answer for me in layman's terms. I'm very pleased that my Doctor chose to send me to Athletico Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time with physical therapy. Austin S. was a wonderful therapist. He would show me the exercise and then he would explain why I needed it and how it worked on the muscle that we were working on. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient several times for my back and shoulder problems for several years. Easy to set up appts! Sometimes the next day after you call! They tell me what needs to be done and sets up a program that fits my needs. Good excercises for the problems I have to do with them and doing them at home. All therapists have very good knowledge of my needs. Always answers any questions I may have. Very clean place, do all precautions needed especially during these times. All very friendly and willing to help you! Have been happy with results or direct me to what I need to do next. I definitely will go back when needed!

Fantastic experience: I had a free evaluation to see what I could do for reoccurring hip and lower back pain. Tom suggested some sessions with him if that was something I would like to try. Emily at the front desk always called me by name and was very welcoming. It was very easy to get an appointment that would work with my schedule. We worked on strengthening and Tom gave me an exercise program to do at home. I felt that he was available for any questions or concerns I might have. I would recommend Atletico and if I have any issues would go see them again.

Fantastic experience: It all starts at the front desk with daily check in. Emily is great. She is always positive, upbeat, and friendly. When it comes to the rehab work to be done, Andy, Tom, and Austin are amazing. These guys really know what they are doing, and are thoughtful, caring, and supportive. The facility is clean and has all the equipment needed for a complete rehab experience and recovery. I hope I never need to go back, but if I do, I will be there in a heartbeat. Thanks, guys!!

Fantastic experience: This Athletico location was referred to me by my Orthopedic specialist, and I am so glad he did. I have almost full range of motion with my shoulder. Tom was my PT and he was wonderful, encouraging me throughout the entire process. I would recommend this location!!

Fantastic experience: Why would a person retun to a physical therapy facility? Because you get great service and care that's why! This is my second time coming to Athletico Physical Therapy at 13110 Birch Drive. Andy Cannon had been great when I came here the first time. This time I experienced exceptional treatment starting with Emily, the receptionist, who greeted me at each of my sessions, calling me by name. The staff are very professional, wearing masks and the facility is clean and sanitized. My primary Physical Therapist, Tom Flynn, did an outstanding job explaining the exercises to me and helping me feel comfortable with what I needed to do to help myself improve. He is very patient, well educated and thorough. He seemed to genuinely care about how I was doing and told me to call back. I was helped along to recovery by Austin and Ginger. They are both very caring and took alot of interest in me as a peerson and not just a client. I highly recommend this clinic and staff to anyone in need of physical therapy treatment. Fantastic experience: I just finished 4+ months of therapy after I had a complete shoulder replacement. I had the BEST therapists. They were so good to me by being patient and answering the many questions I always had. All the staff was very professional and knew all the patients that came in. They helped me through a difficult time and I appreciate all they did to achieve my goal of my new normal for my shoulder. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time visiting for physical therapy. Rehab for my back, and now for my knees. The entire staff is very professional, and caring. Emily, Tom, Austin, and Rachel are the best! The facility is clean, sanitized, and offers all the equipment for any kind of therapy needs. I have recommended them to my family and friends, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Fantastic experience: I was welcomed by Emily, the receptionist. She made me feel at home right away. Tom took over and gave me great exercises that met my needs. He was very patient with me. I think that was one reason my progression was as fast. He made me feel that I could contact him if I was in need. My overall experience was very satisfying. Fantastic experience: I have just recently recovered from a total knee replacement and chose to use Athletico NW for my physical therapy. I quickly found out that everyone there was welcoming, friendly, and safety minded. After weeks of therapy, I was back to work with a functioning knee. The therapists are all top notch, but, I want to give a special shout out to Tom, my physical therapist, who listened to me and knew how to handle all my concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend Athletico NW to anyone who would benefit from physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience here and will definitely return if/when I need PT again. All of the staff were wonderful and always greeted me by name. They worked with my schedule and always had an appointment time that would work for me. I worked with Bailee during my recovery from partial knee replacement and she was wonderful. She consistently challenged me without making me hurt afterwards. I was completely comfortable and at ease during my appointments. I highly recommend them if your doctor orders PT.

Fantastic experience: Only good things to say about Andy and Athletico. Friendly and flexible - they were able to squeeze me in a little bit early when I could come early. Clean, people wore masks, I saw them wipe down the equipment. I started feeling better almost immediately and have been healing really well. I was injured at work, so I had to get a referral from a doctor to get Worker’s Comp to cover it (you don’t need a prescription for PT in Nebraska) and I’m really glad my employer’s insurance sent me here.

Fantastic experience: I'm nearing the end of therapy for a second knee replacement, both times at Athletico Physical Therapy Northwest. Everyone on the staff is supportive, friendly and highly professional. My physiotherapist, Bailee, is both encouraging and demanding--she knows how to work with me through my exercises to be sure I get the most benefit from my rehab program. I would recommend Athletico without question!

Fantastic experience: I received therapy for over a year and received the BEST care from the Physical Therapist. They always listened to my concerns and knew my needs. When necessary they notified my surgeon and were very knowledgeable with my injury. This is the best location to receive PT!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at Athletico Northwest are very skilled and professional . Special shout-out to Bailee who I worked with on my lower back issue. She read the X-Ray and MRI reports and customized my PT plan. The exercises have provided much needed relief. She still checks in with me to see how I'm doing. I highly recommend Athletico Northwest as the gold standard for Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place.Dr. Bailee was AWESOME. Every single person there was warm and welcoming. Betty at the front desk was very professional as well. This was my first time ever doing physical therapy and I had a wonderful experience. I was out of the gym for almost two months and had so much pain. Doctors, pills, chiropractors, muscle relaxers all were not doing much until I came here. I gained full mobility and best of all I have no pain! I cannot thank them enough. FIVE STARS!!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff with great knowledge, skills and great attitudes. Had a torn knee meniscus and after a few weeks of PT my knee was practically back to normal. I worked with Bailee and Steven and they were both exceptional!! Additionally, you can tell it is well run by the Manager; Tom.
