Athletico Physical Therapy - Omaha 94th and J

Fantastic experience: I've had severe back issues and several surgeries. I've been to multiple physical therapists, but never have I felt so comfortable with my quality of care. I've seen Marta and Angela and they are spectacular. They do not treat me as a patient but as a person and a friend. They explain details regarding my care and always go the extra mile to help. The front desk staff are phenomenal, personable, caring and understanding of my needs. I would definitely suggest this facility if you are looking for wonderful care and expert advise!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. The water is the perfect temperature. Cody, my therapist, and I would have the craziest conversations while he was making me do my workouts. He was a lot of fun. I actually looked forward to going to physical therapy. Really sad that my time was up. I would definitely recommend him for water therapy.

Fantastic experience: I love Athletico Physical Therapy. Jake is the best.He is so knowledgeable about what exercises I need to help with my knees and hips. He has a positive attitude and that truly helps when I'm in pain most of the time, it makes me want to do my best to feel better. He helps me strengthen and loosen my joints and muscles so I am able to continue my walking routine after working with him. I'll see you again soon, Jake, after I have my knee replacement surgery. Fantastic experience: I had seen Janna for a previous issue snd knew she was the one to get me through pre-op and post-op total knee replacement. She is absolutely the BEST! Several other therapists have filled in and they were also kind and knowledgeable. Go there!

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with Athletico and my PTA Cory and my PT Karli. I had been in the rehab since August due to a knee injury and rehab to get in the groove of things. Karli worked with me to get my strength and muscles back in shape. After surgery we added in water therapy with Cody who worked with me to help me get get stronger. Both of these people cared for me and my successful recovery and treated me as a true person. They genuinely care about their patients and their success. I am glad I chose Athletico and would return if every needed. 5 star rating for care, evaluation, therapy, support and treating their patients with care. Thank you to both Karli and Cory!!

Fantastic experience: Super - Great Staff. Very flexible with appointment times/days. Clean facility with up to date equipment. In my case, my therapist has become a Friend. There is NOT a single employee that isn't likable. They all are genuinely concerned about my recovery and my overall well being. I know that I will soon be released and return to my job. Which comes with mixed emotions. Extremely excited to get back to department. But more than a bit sad also. Athletico people WILL DEFINITELY BE MISSED. And I am SINCERELY GRATEFUL to them ALL For the Time + Effort they have invested in getting me back into my life. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Rebecca. ...keep up the Great Work!

Fantastic experience: Everyone here at the J Street location are amazing! The receptionists worked very hard to accommodate my crazy schedule. The therapists listen to you!! They work with how you are feeling and can change your normal routine to accommodate!! This is the best place I’ve gone for physical therapy

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Athletico. Every single person I've interacted with here are top notch. A while back I went here for a month for a shoulder injury. More recently I visited for a minor injury and again the whole place had a positive vibe. I felt very welcomed here. I especially like the fact they give every new patient a free 30 minute physical therapy session. That's something I didn't know about until I called to set my appointment. What a pleasant surprise. I made that appointment due to the fact my first experience with them was very positive. Five stars!

Fantastic experience: This place is Great.. From the receptionists when you walk in and throughout my therapy it was nothing but a Fantastic experience, Mind you there was still many aches and pains along the way since I had a major surgery and then followed with a joint replacement within the following year. I worked with a Therapist that was nothing but Professional plus we had fun while I was getting repaired, I consider myself like an old car that needs parts replaced and I need a few more replaced so I'm warning them now that I'm going to be back a time or two. I Highly recommend this Athletico on 94th and J street to my Friends and anybody else who reads the reviews left. Thank you All at Athletico for making my rehab pleasurable.. it helped the pain.!!

Fantastic experience: Had a Great experience with Athletico 94th and J. They have the best team there, Dave,Cody, Natalie, Jamie, Jana, Becca, Ashleigh and Katie were always so welcoming and friendly. Dave would come up with new techniques and strategies to help me heal from a work related injury. Dave’s work hardening program is wonderful and has helped so many people in the 2 months I was there. Thanks for all the extra tips, tricks and laughter I had during my workouts, which were almost daily for 2 months 4 to 5 hours a day. I will most definitely be recommending you to my family and friends. Thanks again

Fantastic experience: The staff at this location are very helpful and work hard to meet the needs of their clients. Natalie and Cody take a genuine interest in my success and recovery goals for my referred injury. Athletico doesn’t work to fix a symptom, they tailor programs that take into consideration all aspects of the body that will aid in the recovery of the injury.

Fantastic experience: Went for PT with Janna for 3 weeks for my back pain. Back is doing much better. Everyone was very nice and very professional. I would really recommend it for treatment

Fantastic experience: Two years ago I suffered a work injury and was assigned to come to this location. I spent close to a year coming here and it made such a huge impact on me. Dave was great at helping me along the way, his knowledge of what stretches and exercises I should do paved the way for my recovery to go as smoothly as possible. Two years later and I’ve lost close to forty pounds, regained almost full use of my knee, and can run a mile in under seven minutes. I once doubted that I would ever get back to where I was before the injury, but coming here made it possible for me to achieve the impossible. I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in and I attribute it to coming here. Thanks to all the staff that played a key role in helping me along the way.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for PT since January 2022 after I was in a car accident. They are a pretty close-nit, caring, and very professional staff. They have awesome Physical Therapists that are flexible for those with busy schedules. I love how thorough they are. I'll be sure to keep them in mind if I ever need PT again once I'm all healed up (but hopefully not for a while, lol!).

Fantastic experience: I will most definitely recommend to anyone needing Physical therapy to go to the Athletico location on 94th and J. Not only is the place nice and big so you don't feel like you're on top of the other people doing treatments, but the staff there is amazing. The ladies at the front desk always have a smile when you walk in and offer a warm welcome. The therapist really do care about your improvement and it shows in the therapy they provide. I had the pleasure to work with Dave during my treatments and he was amazing. He really was on top of things and was always willing to listen no matter how busy he was. He has a great attitude. All in all the atmosphere at this location is a 10/10.

Fantastic experience: The last month I’ve spent significant time on a work hardening program with Dave. He took his program and tweaked it to be relatable to my profession. I’ve gained significant strength in my injured shoulder. I’ve also gained confidence that the surgery and post-op treatment I’ve received gave me usage of my shoulder again. Thank you, Dave!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough nice things about the staff and the process of Althetico. I tore my meniscus in my left knee a few months ago and I started pt three days post surgery. Natalie was my designated therapist and she was so personable and funny, but she'll kick your butt when necessary. I love the practical approach to their exercises and therapy using every day objects to simulate work related or every day activities. The rest of the staff was always so nice and friendly as well. If you have an issue that requires physical therapy, definitely go here!

Fantastic experience: I had heard great things, and was referred here. I was here for work comp. I am really happy with how the pace of my therapy , and the amount of different activities there are to get back to my job faster. Accurate to the job. I had been referred to another place prior, and athletico is by far better. Staff is always great, and Dave is a cool dude.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank the entire staff at 94th & J enough. I walked in thinking my career was over, they found a plan of attack and backed me every step of the way. I came in with a problem few had ever dealt with and they found a way to get me healthy and back to work. If you're serious about getting well, if you're doubting yourself, there is not a better team in Omaha to pick you up and guide you back on your path to returning to work. Because of hard work and their professionalism I'm back at work. I owe them forever.

Fantastic experience: Jana is amazing !!!! I had 2 AC joint surgeries both times she never failed to treat me with care and compassion. She gives me her full attention & schedules me to my needs. Fantastic experience: This review is intended for my PT therapist Dave Schremmer. I started my PT with Dave on November 2nd orientation took place day one Dave explained/took an assessment of my injury and expectations from the start. By day two I fully knew what my pt would consist of and with his guidance was on my way. By the end of the day l felt so good to know there was hope that i could regain mobility back to where I was prior to the injury. I felt stronger. (Fractured Fibula) I can’ not say enough about Dave’s expertise, knowledge , patience , and genuine level of care he puts into his work. Dave has truly helped my progress thus far and it’s only been one week. I highly recommend Athletico to all those recovering from injury. BTW Staff was great as well. Sincerely Evelyn Porter

Fantastic experience: I was having issues with numbness in my back for several months. After a few visits with Dave Schremmer I have already experienced great progress in reducing the level of numbness in my back. I had tried several PT videos online to help with the numbness but none of them seemed to work. Dave was able to isolate the issue quickly and have fun while doing. I never thought I'd be excited to go to PT but I am. Hopefully by the end of this the numbness will be competely gone. If progress continues like it is there is no doubt in my mind that I should be good.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Athletico was a pleasure. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the employees! My favorites are the two incredible ladies in the front office also the Docs Joey and Dave! Joey was my one on one person who straightened my two fracture fingers back. Fantastic experience: Dave is the best physical therapist in the world. I have been thoroughly involved in the work hardening program for approximately 3 months now and the improvements I have made are nothing shy of a miracle. The hands on care and Saint level patience that Dave imparts while working with each and everyone of his patients is practically impossible to find this day and age. The entire staff of the 94th and J Athletico are always kind and I hope they are all compensated appropriately for the level of care they provide. I have already recommended this particular branch to friends and family in the hopes that they will become just injured enough to experience the magic and healing I, myself, have received here. If I could I would quit my gym and pay whatever price they asked to continue down this blissful path. In all honesty I do enjoy coming here and I sincerely wish I could continue to grow here alongside this incredible team. Thank you Athletico at 94th and J for taking such great care of me and therefore given me the ability to better care for my family.

Fantastic experience: I received therapy for a sprained ankle and broken arm at the wrist. I've had great improvement in mobility and confidence in getting back to all my previous activities. Jana at Athletico was excellent in providing exercises to strengthen my ankle and get me back to playing pickleball. My wrist mobility has improved and I have the skills to maintain this strength. It was a positive experience overall.

Fantastic experience: I came to this facility because of a work related injury. I was very apprehensive; as I didn't know what was expected of me to complete the 4 week Work Hardening Program. Barely able to use my left leg without extreme pain and swelling; I begin the classes in a protective mode of my leg. To my surprise I started walking better each day, the pain went from a 4-5 to 1-2 each day. I felt stronger in my total body and my fear of re-injury slowly disappeared. Dave was absolutely perfect for me as he knew just when to push me to do more and when to let me rest. He was so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, he made me feel safe and cared about. After the completion of the program I am now walking without my metal brace, my pain is now 0-1, with very little swelling. I want to say thank you guys for helping me be the best I can be and I sincerely appreciate all your hard work. You all are SUPER STARS

Fantastic experience: This facility and staff are a game changer ! I had hip surgery did my initial therapy and it did help but i was literally scared because i knew physically i wasnt ready, coming to Athletico has brought my strength back you dont realize what you loose after surgery and like i stated before its been a game changer, actually a blessing . thank you too Dave and the staff there, they are all very personable ang genuine !

Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly, helpful and sometimes very entertaining but in a good way. It was a fun environment and my strength greatly improved. Dave was my therapist and he was great and really nice. Joey was very interesting, in a goofy/ fun way.

Fantastic experience: This is the best physical therapy facility ever. Dr. Karli M. Rockford is the best at what she does. I do aqua therapy due to my health issues and Karli always make sure I am comfortable and no exercise we try is to strenuous or causes me additional pain. I highly recommend her and this facility for the work they do. Friendly staff and clean facility.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Athletico Physical Therapy's Work Hardening program if you're post-op or post-injury and wanting to return to work. It's not easy nor quick but the rests come with time and work. Can't say enough good things about Dave S. He designed my workout program and kept me motivated during my stint in the work hardening program.

Fantastic experience: Attended therapy here and the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Dave was great and I enjoyed his outlook on everything. Your well being and health are their main concern and it shows in their attitudes. I would recommend this facility to improve your movement from an injury. My own improvement was greatly improved by following their regiment for flexibility and movement of joints and muscles. Fantastic experience: The crew at Athletico are fantastic. I started going there when it was Excel. I have had water therapy with Karli, and she is great. Always a smile, she explains every detail, and what it does. I have had physical therapy with Marta, and it my eyes she is fantastic. There aren't enough words to describe how great Marta is. I always ask for her when I need to have therapy. I highly recommend Athletico 100%.

Fantastic experience: I love the personal care and respect I have received from the entire staff from scheduling my appointments to the one on one therapy I receive. I have a very challenging and complicated hand/wrist injury and it's been wonderful to have Marta Sailor who specializes in hand injuries work with me. I have made great progress and with her encouragement and expertise I'm confident that I will recover full use of my hand. I'm already able to do much more than I could when I originally came to her. Together we've set realistic goals and each one met has given me confidence. I also want to thank the rest of the staff who are all so friendly, helpful and to Jeff Bridwell who takes extra time when I'm on the bike to check on me. Great group!
