Fantastic experience: I have been treated at 4 other pt clinics throughout my life. I believe that David Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is the top of them all! The staff is very welcoming, friendly and provide a calming environment. They make physical therapy fun, and once you have graduated, you will miss going there; as they make you feel a part of the team and culture. What a great physical therapy family!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had multiple sclerosis for 27 yrs and primarily use a wheelchair to ambulate nowadays. I was reluctant to have my shoulder replaced (with titanium) by Dr. Mitchell at St Clair Hospital. Over the past 27 years, I probably have received physical therapy from 10 separate providers. Because my neurologist is with UPMC, most PTs were with UPMC as well. As a 58 year old always willing to try something new, I tried DAVID physical therapy for the last three months. This was, perhaps, the best decision I have made concerning my rehabilitation work to date. What I found unique at DAVID was: a) PT is in a great room where numerous PTs and their associates are always no more than a few feet away to ask questions, ask for help, or just say hi, b) DAVID’s policy is to work a patient for typically 75 minutes a session, rather than the typical 45 minute sessions I received at every UPMC location I had visited, c) missing a session, for whatever reason, was not charged to my insurance … it was just a session that was rescheduled, and d), before I ramble too much, I was impressed with the David family of doctors that made it a point to understand my condition completely and designed a rehabilitation program specific to me … and then continued my therapy for three months after an initial script for 30 days. Jeremy was in routine contact with my orthopedic surgeon, and both were willing to extend my therapy until I reached a good place. I suspect to have MS for another 25 years, unless, of course a cure is found. I expect I will be seeing my friends at DAVID for decades to come for whatever MS throws my way.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hannah Zangara, the other staffed physical therapists, athletic trainers, and physical therapist aides made my 12 weeks of pt as good as it could possible be! I can't thank them enough for getting me back to being healthy. Can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience at David's Physical Therapy. Hannah was wonderful, kind and caring. Always checking to make sure I was doing my exercises properly. All the therapists at David's are very professional and also kind and caring. I started out with Hannah, but had the opportunity to work with many of the other therapists. I went to strengthen my back muscles, because my osteoporosis had gotten very bad. I found all the exercises to be very helpful and ones that I could do at home. When I was ready to be released Hannah went over everything that I had done over the past several weeks and made sure that I understood how to do everything at home. Hannah gave me all the exercise bands to take home and complete written instructions for me to follow so I could keep up the program on my own. Dr. Hannah Zangara worked with me came up with a treatment plan that has led to me being stronger, more confident, and pain-free in the gym. Fantastic experience: I had been fortunate in my 70 years that I never had been seriously injured, up until a recent fall necessitated rotator cuff surgery. I am very pleased that I selected David physical therapy for my rehabilitation as they professionally and compassionately helped me regain my strength , independence and quality of life. You don’t want to need their services, but it is nice to know they are there.

Fantastic experience: I was in a car accident over the holidays and needed to be treated for a concussion. There are very few centers that even specialize in this type of treatment. Dr. Ryan Fraass worked with me and was exceptional. He was patient, listened to my challenges and modified exercises when necessary. He, along with the rest of the staff are incredibly warm, friendly and always willing to help you. I highly recommend David Physical Therapy, they absolutely excel in their field and are the BEST! Fantastic experience: Everyone is so helpful beginning with the first call to schedule through my months of therapy. The physical therapist are very knowledgeable and attentive, taking interest in their patients and the patients of other therapists. This is helpful when you need to switch a day/time. I was especially impressed at the care I witness with some of their elderly patients. The concern and patience I was heartwarming. I would highly recommend For any physical therapy needs.

We felt very comfortable working with the David Physical Therapy staff and improved considerably with their methods. Fantastic experience: David PT is like the theme song from the TV show, Cheers: “Where everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came.” All of the staff know my name and recognize me when I come inside. It’s a very positive and encouraging atmosphere. Everyone I interact with asks me how I’m doing. Jeremy is an excellent PT and person. I can text him inbetween sessions if questions come up. He coordinates with my doctor to provide the best plan of care. I always feel better after a session!

Fantastic experience: I had a knee replacement, was in horrible pain and not looking forward to therapy! I feel compelled to take the time for a review. This facility is awesome, the team plays off of one another, every employee has one objective and that’s to make you better! I looked forward to my time there and now consider them my friends. Truly a team well chosen to help you get better. The downside for me is I’m all better and finished! If it was not for them I would have never gotten better, for Dr. Jeremy was the one that figured out what was really causing my pain, not some surgery or physician. Fantastic experience: My experience with David Physical therapy was an unforgettable experience,the time that is taken with your situation, the curtussey, the friendly way you are cared for makes this therapy one of the most unique I have personally received, and I have gone to many other. They were a tremendous help, each of the staff , and Jonny and Jeremy were a true key component in this organization and the reason for my recouperation. They all became family to me which certainly helps your recovery, I will miss them..

Fantastic experience: I had a broken left arm and left leg from a fall,I had a titanium rod put in my leg.Justin picked up on the fact that my progress was not going as expected and got on the phone and called my surgeon. I went to his office to be seen and the screw at the top of my femur had shifted. This resulted in me having a total hip replacement.Justin and his staff are the best ,always pleasant and very involved in doing the very best for their patients! I wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone to their knowledge of how to help your recovery from an injury. The very best choice in this area for concerned and capable staff. Fantastic experience: I tore my Achilles this year, which required surgery and then physical rehabilitation. Dr. David and the staff at David Physical Therapy got me back up and running faster then I could’ve imagined. The plan they provided was easy to follow from start to finish, and they even prepped me and provided tools to continue working on it after I was cleared to graduate. I highly recommend this staff and facility for anyone needing physical therapy!

Fantastic experience: I am thankful for David Physical Therapy. I have had two hips replaced and now a shoulder replaced. Each time I needed them they were there. They gave me great advice and wonderful service. I can see why they have been around so long. Thanks to them I am walking and using my arm almost as if I never had surgery.

Fantastic experience: I have had 3 separate incidents that required Physical Therapy and I had excellent service by the staff at David Therapy each time. I was able to get relief from pain or successfully recover from surgery. The staff are always friendly, professional and very experienced; they tailor a program and services to your personal needs. They are also very accommodating as far as appointment flexibility and sensitive to your schedule if you are pressed for time. I would recommend David Therapy to anyone who needs physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: The whole team at David Physical Therapy provided great service! I had some bone spurs removed on the back of my heel which required my Achilles Tendon to be repaired and reattached just before the COVID 19 shut down. Dr Joseph David and his staff (notably Bryan, Joe, Ryan, John, Dustin, and Gwen) did a great job of providing a safe environment for myself and the other patients to continue our therapy so that we could quickly recover from our surgeries/injuries. They were very hands on and guided me from barely being able to move my toes after first coming out of my cast/walking boot, to running through the speed ladder at the very end of my therapy sessions. I feel very comfortable recommending David Physical Therapy to anyone who needs rehabilitation after surgery or an injury!

Fantastic experience: David's PT is such a wonderful place to go when you need to get better! They get you in real fast and are 100% attentive to you during your therapy. The place can be really busy but one of the assistants always know what you need to do next. Not to mention they are all very friendly and knowledgeable. If it wasn't for their care and compassion towards me and my surgeries I don't know if I would be this far along. I can't thank them enough or recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: After a total hip replacement in April 2018, I was cleared for physical therapy in June 2018. David Physical Therapy was among the groups my surgeon's office recommended. They were the first group I visited and they made a good first impression. The facility is well located with ample parking. It is comfortably spacious with good logically placed equipment. The professional staff is engaging and charts your progress. I could feel myself improving with each visit. By late August, at age 66, I was back on the football field for my 35th season! Actually, I'm a high school referee and worked over 30 varsity and sub varsity games this year. I would not have returned to this activity as safely, as quickly and as effectively if it wasn't for Jeremy David and his staff.
