Fantastic experience: I have had a lot of physical therapy in the past in a lot of different locations. I chose NovaCare in Squirrel Hill on Forbes Avenue because it was across the street from my office. Jamie Porter was my physical therapist and she understood my issues and what my goals from PT were. Patricia accommodated the scheduling requests for my appointments and was very cheerful and kind. The facility was clean and there was ample parking. I highly recommend this facility as a healthcare professional myself.

Fantastic experience: I've been to multiple different P.T. services and most of them didn't care about me nor my injury. Coming to NovaCare locations in Dormont and Squirrelhill are amazing and the Squirellhill location has aqua therapy, but the main thing for me is the personal care you always work with.

Explained and demonstrated all exercises and gave me printed versions and made sure I understood each one, having me make my own additional notes. She wants you to succeed so didn’t overload me with routines. Also was creative and tried alternative maneuvers which really helped. Encouraged me to call or return for more help as needed.

Fantastic experience: Kathleen and Grace do an amazing job at providing quality treatment, being caring and professional, and maintaining a clean and safe facility in the time of COVID-19. My injury improved quickly based on the recommendations and treatment they provided. I'd recommend this practice to anyone who needs physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: The therapists are able to explain the muscles and joints in layman's language. They are patient and insightful. On two previous occasions, I had therapy from NovaCare and the problem cleared up.

Fantastic experience: My experience with the Squirrel Hill Novacare has been very satisfactory. My trainer challenges me but listens to any concerns of caution. All are friendly, the parking is great for a handicapped person and the outdoor overhang makes accessibility possible in bad weather. I am glad to have chosen this facility.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at NovaCare for the second time working with Lori Brant, Physical Therapist. I highly recommend Lori as she not only takes your doctors prescription seriously but she listens to your description of your physical problem and designs an excercise program for you. Lori is very professional, caring and knowledgeable. I have also worked with Kaleb, Lori's assistant and he is very easy to work with and his friendly ways helps to make the excercising fun.
