Fantastic experience: recovery is possible

Fantastic experience: So far, I am completely satisfied. Pain from a shoulder/arm injury that had been bothering me for months has subsided after only two visits. Not only has my pain been significantly reduced, but so has my range of motion. I'm looking forward to the ongoing treatment and progress.

Fantastic experience: The employees are terrific. I have nothing negative to say. From the cleaning employees to the, nurses, Therapist, dieticians, Social Workers and everyone else KUDOS to you all. And double KUDOS to the hard working CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS.

Fantastic experience: I would send anyone in my family here . Excellent patient care and outcomes ! 24 hour nursing care- daily physician care . Caring Staff treat their patients like family. Gorgeous facility! Private rooms , private bathrooms , excellent food! I would definitely recommend them

Fantastic experience: I was an addict at this facility. Which is an inpatient rehabilitation institution. The staff, therapists, and doctors were all fantastic. The Clinical Directors go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I would strongly advise anyone seeking drug and alcohol rehab to contact them.

Fantastic experience: I'm registered in the IOP program at New Era and I have had such a great experience. The clinician that runs the group really cares and gives his all to the group. This has kept me sober and accountable, best decision I made was to become involved with the IOP.

Fantastic experience: I've been at New Era for a little over 2 years. Everyone has been extremely nice and have helped me on my recovery. I have to especially shout out Alonda, Shane and Donna.

Fantastic experience: Eddy is the best councler at new era..he has been there for years and really cares about is clients..im glad to have him as a councler

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to go to. Never had any issues and the counselor Karen is amazing and so is Eddie he's very easy to get ahold of and always extremely helpful! Always right in and out.

Fantastic experience: I have been here since 2008 and since they moved to there new location this place is so much better so much cleaner and a lot mor organized and today I met with someone new counselor Shane he was great to talk to just a great overall person I have nothing bad to say about the new New Era Rehabilitation in Bridgeport five stars

Positive experience: I go to New Era, they just moved to a new location up the road from the other but it definitely is alot nicer of a building/office then they were at (not saying the last place was horrible, it just wasn't as "updated" I would say.) but the counselors there are awesome, my counselor is Shane, great guy really into helping you out which is nice for a change. All in all I would recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Very patient and loving staff that will work with you to come up with a plan that best works for you! Awesome sessions with my counselor Shayne has helped me with my meditation game and to take time to think before I act. Would definitely recommend this place if your having trouble with substance abuse.

Fantastic experience: Shain is one of the most thoughtful and patient counselors I have in a LONG TIME!! Our one on one sessions have help me tremendously!! I would highly recommend NEW ERA. There staff is also very good As well. The new facility is also a huge benefit.

Positive experience: So the new facility is a beautiful place. Ran very smooth. My counselor Jen Traslavina is great at her job and very caring as well as Donna Rivera the Director.

Fantastic experience: I became a member of New Era over three years ago, and I must say the staff, counselors, and nurses really take the time to get to know you and help you on your journey to a clean and healthy lifestyle. I had Jen as my counselor and Eddie as my mental health therapist and they went above and beyond to see that my needs were met and it was very reassuring. In the last month they moved locations and the set up is beautiful and well organized. My only small complain is that the mental health program is being discontinued at this location which makes things quite harder. Yet, overall I'm extremely pleased with New Era and the employees that are always willing to help their patients, A+ and keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: Always a good experience at New Era. The new building is very nice and easily accessible. The counselors are good people who genuinely care about their clients and want to see them better their lives. Keep up the good work!

Negative experience: This is the worst place you can go to for rehabilitation they do not even know the meaning of the word rehabilitation, I was going here for many years, But recently something took place that Im not in agreement with They do not care about their clients they don't care what your problem is all they care about is getting their money at the end of the month, I had a real sweet and caring counselor that I can honestly say about my last counselor, I suggest you find a different program to, There is one in Ansonia,that's great

Negative experience: The place used to answer their phone you would dial the number which it used to be a different number you would call it and they would respond right away they would answer the phone now when you call you get a recording saying that the extension can't even teach them by phone

Negative experience: This place is the worst, front desk person Jessie loves to gossip with the clients. Jessie has been telling clients about why people were fired or are no longer employed at New Era. This is unprofessional and she should be fired. As a client I just want to get my service and not be stuck in the middle of gossip, some people like that but to me that's very unprofessional.

Negative experience: I am very much not happy with this place. Although the counsulor is very kind to me, I had to cancel a plane ticket in order to pursue treatment. The refund policy is that the ticket can only be refunded with a doctor's note saying I had any type of medical treatment the week of the plane ride. For days I battled New Era, with counsulors, secretaries, and doctors all telling me that they are not there to help with commercial issues... but all I need is ONE sentence on paper saying "He had medical treatment that week" and now because of them I am losing hundreds of dollars due to their stubborn answer without any due cause. I came wanting to taper down on an ambulatory detox so I could get a new flight and emigrate to the land of my dual citizenship without sudden detox over there, and now they are telling me they want to INCREASE my dose and keep me on the programme for as long as a year?! No. These people want your money and want to addict you with no chance of tapered detox. They have purposefully refused to help me with a single sentence on paper to prevent me from more easily going back to my home country and are now trying to prevent me from returning home altogether so they can make a buck. Every single time I have returned to my other home country, I detoxed cold-turkey without a problem and I told them this. This time I decided to detox before returning, with their help, and they are instead simply trying to take control of my life.

Negative experience: Absolutley the worst ever could care less about anyone stay away if possible. They only take state insured wont accept private insurance. Felt like walking into a prison. Intakes on Monday Wednesday and Friday only hope those jerks don't steal my identity.
