Athletico Physical Therapy - South City

Fantastic experience: This is the most caring and engaging group of physical therapists I have ever been under the care of. They are thorough, thoughtful, creative, funny, supportive, kind, and professional. ALL OF THEM! I refer folks to this practice every chance I get. I’m grateful to have them on my rehab team.

Fantastic experience: I've just completed a course of physical therapy after total left knee replacement surgery in late October. My therapist, Michael R., was unbelievably friendly, attentive, and engaged. He was also merciless in the best possible way—making sure that I did the exercises correctly and that his physical manipulation of my knee was forceful enough to help me gain a full range of motion. I hope to have his assistance again after my right knee surgery. I should also add here that, as far as I could tell, the team at the South City branch of Athletico demonstrated an ideal inclination to work together...well...happily. Besides Michael, Darryl and Berniece worked with me and engaged with a similarly positive spirit. Aris at the front desk was always alert and helpful. I recommend this branch of Athletico without a single reservation.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing!! They are all friendly and upbeat. They are great with helping each other out. Morgan , who is awesome, is my PT, but have nothing to say but good about everyone there. Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: My therapist Anna was great. She got me back to a normal everyday functioning level. South Town was very flexible with appointments and a very friendly and accommodating staff. I highly recommend Athletico Southtown for your physical therapy needs. Should I require physical therapy in the future, Southtown will be my go to as I have used them in the past.

Fantastic experience: I've been to this Athletico location a couple of times over the last couple of years. First for a knee problem and recently for neck pain. Everyone there is so friendly. I especially love Jen. She helped me regain normal function. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the S. Kingshighway location for 6 months. The team is the perfect mix of professional and laid back. The exercises were relevant to my injury and tailored to my unique needs. A huge shout out to Anna and Paige for all the encouragement and help on my healing journey.

Fantastic experience: I've seen a few different therapists here for few different injuries over the past couple of years. The team here has always taken excellent care of me and gotten me back into action safely and effectively. In addition to guiding you through the appropriate exercises they take the time to educate you on what is happening with your body and how and why the various exercises will help to improve your function.

Anna Guimbarda, OT at this location is superior in all of her work here…she will provide you with the best care throughout your whole visit, she makes time for each and every one of her patients personally, making your appointment something to look forward to when you’re treated so genuinely with such compassion!

Fantastic experience: I would like to report how Claire Milton, my current Physical Therapist, has helped me overcome some very sore areas on my hips especially after acquiring inserts into my everyday shoes. I went from a right fist of muscles to a much more broken down set of muscles that were the result of Claire doing her magic on these muscles that had developed over the last 5 years of imbalance between my feet. With the guidance of PT sessions and at-home exercises, Claire has eased my pain and is helping me strengthen my core to continue my program. I highly recommend Claire for any PT that anyone needs! Fantastic experience: I’ve been working primarily with Claire and she has been consistently wonderful. She thoroughly answers my questions and is very knowledgeable about her work. She’s quick to modify any exercises that I’m unable to do and offers alternatives. All the staff are always helpful, positive and seem to enjoy the work they do.

Fantastic experience: I have had the privilege of working with Claire, Meghan, Bernie, Jen, and now Molly. They have always treated me professionally and respectfully. I love the atmosphere in the office. All the patients working hard at trying to get themselves back to normal and the therapists working with them and listening intently. The thing I love the most is the respect and fun the therapist have with each other engaging in conversation about the music playing on the speaker, how their weekend was, and how the family is doing. Athletico is the place that if you have to do physical therapy you want to do it here. Thanks everyone for the help as I continue on my journey to get well.

Fantastic experience: I have never been so pleased with a physical therapy service. I feel like the therapists at this location listen to my feedback during my sessions. This is often hard to come by. I have had several health issues that come with surgery. I pick this location no matter what. I know I can trust the people here, and they actually care about the healing process. A big thanks to South City Athletico. A special shout out to Molly. This lady knows her stuff, and always makes sure that things are running smoothly and all my needs are met!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience here! I went to about three different physical therapy companies before Athletico and the care I’ve received has been top notch. Claire has been my physical therapist and she has been amazing for my back pain and herniated discs.

When arriving for sessions, I was greeted warmly by Anna and Darryl and guided through routines by skilled and knowledgeable assistants Bernadette and Conner. The primary therapist Claire encouraged open dialogue asking questions supporting her treatment plan and adjusted relieving discomfort and increased range of motion for my condition. I’m appreciative of the collective services and treatments provided and would like to Thank the South City team for their efforts supporting improvements to my quality of life after my event.

Fantastic experience: I love Athletico in South City! Everyone you meet, from the second you walk in, is so incredibly friendly. The environment and people truly make you feel welcomed! The therapists (and I’ve worked with several) really care about you! They are incredibly knowledgeable in what they do and really have you feeling like you know what to expect in the future. Fantastic experience: It was my first time ever going to a physical therapist, and I had a great experience at Athletico! Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful, and seem like they all genuinely care about their patients. My PT was Megan Craft and she was amazing! Within the first few minutes there, I felt comfortable talking and working with Megan. I learned so much from her throughout our sessions and my back pain is almost 100% gone! I’m excited to continue to use the tools Megan gave me, but if I were to need a refresher, I’d be happy to go back to Athletico and work with Megan again!

Fantastic experience: The entire office is so welcoming and work well together. You get a sense of family when you walk in the doors and feel their energy to help you recover from your injury. From each therapist, PT assistants to office staff it was a pleasure to come and do my rehab at this location. I have to give a shout out to Claire, Michael, Darryl, Connor and Ryan. Thank you for helping me recover from a total hip replacement. I’m sure I will be back when the other one decides to stop working. Fantastic experience: Had no clue this place existed and so happy to have found it. Darryl and Claire are AWESOME!!! Been doing dry needling with Claire for a couple weeks and already see the difference. Darryl rocks it out at the front desk and is a great support to the therapists. She listens to you & if you are hurting she doesn't push you. Very understanding & I hope to never do any physical therapy in the future but if I have to I will definitely ask for Claire.
