Athletico Physical Therapy - Brentwood

Fantastic experience: I am currently wrapping up my treatment at Athletico Physical Therapy - Brentwood. This is my third time coming here as a patient (different injury each time), and just like before, my experience was very positive. My physical therapist this time was Maddie. I'm a dancer and had somehow manage to tear both hip labrums about two months before a Nutcracker run that I had already begun rehearsing for. Maddie, having a dance background herself, understood my needs and the demands dance places on one's body. At our evaluation appointment, she did a great job explaining what she found as she evaluated my condition. She knew exactly what exercises to start me with and was confident that I would be dancing full out in time for the performances. All I had to do was listen to her and keep up with the exercises that she told me to do at home. Long story short, she was right. I made it through all five Nutcracker performances in the show's three-day run with no hip pain and am back to dancing full out. Throughout the whole process, Maddie was great about answering questions and was always a pleasure to work with, and she and I were/are both excited about this end result. I also want to give a shoutout to the other therapists, office staff, and rehab aides that work here. They all deserve a five-star review, too. Whoever your therapist is, you can't go wrong with anyone here. The office staff is always friendly and helpful, and the rehab aides know their stuff and are ready to assist whenever needed. I highly recommend Athletico in Brentwood.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Athletico was entirely positive. My therapist was knowledgeable, caring, supportive and friendly. My issue, back pain, was helped immensely and I have a plan for going forward on my own.

Fantastic experience: I had knee surgery in January and Holly had me up and running in no time. By the middle of March I was back to myself and feeling great. Holly is knowledgeable and effectively communicated with me throughout my entire treatment. Furthermore, she was very patient and responsive to my needs. Not only would I see her again if needed, but I would also recommend her to others for their physical therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: Rachel is an incredible therapist-knowledgeable, concerned, sensitive to patient needs, and appropriately humorous! The front office staff is incredible as well. They always made me feel like I was the most important person in the building. Love that location!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Holly for neck and shoulder pain and she is an exceptional physical therapist. I saw improvement within just a few sessions and by the end of treatment, I was back in shape. Holly is patient and attentive and constantly checked in with me to make sure that I was comfortable and satisfied with my progress. Holly was always able to answer any questions that I had and was also a vital resource for my at home exercise program. I would recommend her to anyone in need of physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I started my PT at Athletico Brentwood about 6 months ago following an ACL and Miniscus reconstruction surgery. I worked with Maggie Braida and a few other Physical Therpaists. Maggie and other PTs were all very experienced in handling my specific injury and needs and provided guidance and assistance around my needs. The facility is nice and spacious and the front office did a great job with scheduling my sessions and working with insurance.

Fantastic experience: Everything about my experience at Athletico was wonderful in every possible way. Scheduling was efficient, everyone was incredibly friendly, and Taylor was the best physical therapist anyone could ever ask for (and Jeff too). Hope I don't get hurt again, but if I do, I'm coming back.

Fantastic experience: I have received PT at the Brentwood location for almost a year for several different issues. I always received excellent therapy tailored to my needs and I improved dramatically. My PTs, Katie and Rachel, were wonderful to work with and always ensured my sessions were challenging and fun! Got homework that really helped. Office staff were also responsive. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough great things about Katie at Brentwood Athletico! She helped me strengthen my knee after total knee replacement surgery, and also worked with strengthening my core and back, as that was obviously keeping me from doing the hip, quad, and abdominal strengthening exercises to help my knee! She was encouraging, extremely knowledgeable, and helped me get back my mobility, balance, strength and stamina to keep up the active lifestyle I want! She couldn’t have been more effective in helping me achieve those goals! I can’t recommend her, and Athletico, highly enough!!!!

Fantastic experience: So far this is the best pt I’ve used here and in Chicago, in the last ten years since rotator cuff repair I went to the Brentwood location and Kate Crippin was my therapist The first thing I noticed and appreciated was one hour sessions vs 1/2 hour with all (4X) other therapist Kate was very attentive and organized and most importantly my shoulder feels stronger and more stable Thanks Kate

While I worked with several people, Max was my main physical therapist and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Fantastic experience: I had a hip replacement awhile ago, which subsequently messed up my back. When I started working with Taylor at Athletico, because of the pain I could barely get off the exam table without help. Fast forward three months and I am probably at 90%, all due to Taylor. Staff at Athletico Brentwood is extremely nice, helpful, flexible, and always willing to help. I could not be more enthusiastic about recommending them.

Fantastic experience: Athletico Brentwood is the best!!! The staff are incredible. They don’t only treat your injuries but take time to get to know you and are so encouraging. I’ve been treated here twice, for an ankle injury and knee injury, and both my PTs (Holly and Taylor) were wonderful.

Fantastic experience: They’ve been helping me recover from my patella tendon tear and the staff is excellent! They’re extremely educated and a delight to socialize with. I would definitely recommend this location if you’re suffering from any physical ailment!

Fantastic experience: The staff and PT team has been great! Everyone is friendly and helpful! Holly has been my PT for my knee and has helped me better understand what is happening and how to improve my Range of Motion and strength.I would highly recommend this team and especially Holly!

Fantastic experience: I have worked with Hannah and Jacob and have had wonderful experiences with both of them! The front staff is also amazing. They are great with making sure I am on the schedule, even when I forget to schedule myself for more visits! The staff all have great report with each other as well as with their clients. I would recommend this location if you enjoy feeling like part of the family!

Fantastic experience: Physical therapy at Athletico on Brentwood is excellent. The PTs are competent, professional and kind. The front desk handles insurance and appointments with ease. Importantly they treat everyone with respect and have a genuine interest improving the health/lives of their clients. I have gone to Athletico for both my knee and my back with excellent results. Fantastic experience: Athletico Brentwood is amazing! I have been receiving excellent care from Max for the past few weeks, and I am noticing great improvement in my neck/shoulder pain. Even while working with multiple patients at once, he is incredibly efficient, professional, and attentive to my exercises and needs, which seems to be the same with other therapists and their patients. Fantastic experience: I had such a positive experience at the Brentwood Athletico location. Both Holly and Mike were incredibly helpful. I was referred to physical therapy to address a long-standing pain issue. Holly and Mike took the time to really listen to my story and come up with the best treatment plan. I'm so impressed and happy with the results of their treatment plan and would recommend this location to anyone needing PT.

Fantastic experience: Mike was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about different ways to help with my back pain and was always happy to adjust and find variations of exercises to still feel like I was making progress even when I was having a higher pain day. Very good PT experience!

Fantastic experience: The experience I had at Athletico with Taylor Dittman, DPT bar none was thorough, always on point and educational. I'm a patient that asks question so I could be better informed. Taylor never took exception with my desire to know. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Hannah as my physical therapist after I incurred a hamstring injury. I can not speak highly enough of my experience with Hannah and Athletico. She is a fantastic listener and used my feedback to tailor movements and exercises that catered specifically to my needs. As a seasoned lifter, I was also humbled (in a good way) and am now taking my mobility just as seriously as my strength. Hannah shared lots of other insights and advice that I can take forward forever, hopefully preventing future injuries. Thank you Hannah and the Athletico team! 10/10, would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Athletico in Brentwood is the absolute best! In the past 4 years I was sent to physical therapy in a major hospital twice and also tried another physical therapist locally. My issues were never completely resolved regardless of the number of appointments I had. I have been pleasantly surprised that in just 20 visits, two per week, I no longer need a walker nor a cane to safely and confidently walk.

Fantastic experience: Athletico - Brentwood - is the best! I have been receiving excellent physical therapy care from Maggie for the last 6 weeks. Even while multitasking several patients at once, she remains efficient, professional, kind, and attentive. - And I see that same kind of work going on around me with all of the therapists. After each session, I walk away relaxed, with my symptoms improved! So glad I chose this location!

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Athletico Brentwood enough. I worked with Taylor on a sports injury and expressed my goals of getting back on the court soon. From the first session to the last I experienced amazing results. I had almost no pain jumping and doing agility work like I could before. I feel so much stronger and was pushed each session to a perfect balance of challenge and comfort. I feel so much more confident in my ankle and strength now and have been able to return to volleyball way faster than I thought originally. Taylor was an incredible person to work with and I feel great. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’m a lifetime long-distance runner who has lived in STL for 8 years. Before going to Athletico, I saw several physical therapists for various running injuries I had, none of whom were as competent and thorough as Mike. He spends ample time going through injury history and possible root causes for pain, then he develops a multimodal therapy plan with a direct goal in mind. His persistence to treat the root of the problem is unmatched, and his knowledge of body mechanics and connectivity takes physical therapy at Athletico to a level above the rest. For runners in St. Louis there is really nowhere I can recommend more. I’ve been back several times over the past 4 years and each time I can say with confidence that I came out a stronger athlete. To top it off- the staff at the front desk are so kind and welcoming; if I ever had an issue with insurance or scheduling they handled it with ease. This place rocks!

Fantastic experience: Maggie Braida is an amazing therapist. Through her guidance and suggested therapy routines I was able to improve my walking as a result of sciatica and hip issues. She is professional, highly skilled, empathetic and generally a good person to be around. Additionally, the other therapists and admin folks were friendly and supportive.

Fantastic experience: Athletico is a welcoming, warm and friendly place and each member of staff I encountered was helpful and made me feel comfortable and at ease. My therapist Emily was professional and addressed my issues very effectively, calmly and with great results.

Taylor was my personal therapist and I found her to be very knowledgeable and attentive to detail as well as personable. It’s a great place and I highly recommend it. I will use it for all my PT needs in the future.

Fantastic experience: The therapist at the Brentwood location are excellent and always cheerful. It really helps as they know you are there because you are suffering from some type of ailment. My therapist was Taylor and she takes the time to get to know her patients personally. I would highly recommend her and the entire staff there.

Fantastic experience: I choose Athletico Physical Therapy after reading rave reviews so I figured I should do the same. I went to the Downtown location because it was close to my residence at the time. It was during the height of COVID and was hesitant about going into any office space. The pain I was experiencing pushed me past my fears. The facility was white glove approved and everyone was cautiously wearing a mask and cleaning every service after each use. Every appointment had plenty of space for us to move around and stay safe and feel comfortable. From the greeter on the phone the service was extremely personable. Dr. Reed is the most knowledgeable person, boy does he know his craft well. He is skilled in multiple areas and was super helpful with referrals for doctors whenever I was in need of a referral. He is extremely thoughtful and kind beyond words. He pays attention to every detail knowing when I was stressed, tired, weak and just unable to speak for myself at times. It was well appreciated. His schedule accommodates the earliest times of the morning which was perfect for my schedule. Dr. Reed has since moved to the Brentwood Location. The staff is just as caring and facility just as wonderful. If you have PT needs I highly recommend Athletico PT. Be well.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff are friendly and helpful The ladies behind the desk somehow seem to remember everyone. Always a hello and goodbye. I cant say enough about the care I received from Emily. My first visit I could barely move my head and within 2 weeks I am 95% better. She made me feel comfortable, she was tough and encouraging, and I always felt like she truly cared about my recovery.

To my surprise, I always looked forward to my therapy sessions. Emily was unfailingly kind, courteous, and professional, and she pushed me to achieve my recovery goals in a way that encouraged me to work hard. My rehabilitation following arthroscopic shoulder surgery has gone better than I could have imagined, and I am very grateful to Emily for her help. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Mike for physical therapy after a spine fracture, and I had an amazing experience. The facility was clean, there were plenty of available time slots, and all of the staff members were helpful, welcoming, and kind. I started seeing an improvement within 2 sessions - the stretches and workouts that Mike gave me made a huge difference in my mobility, pain management, and tension reduction. The workouts that he gave me focused mostly on my postural muscles and abs, which helped alleviate my pain while also improving my strength. He was an engaging and thoughtful healthcare provider who I felt truly cared about my overall healing from my injury. It has been six months since my injury and I have since returned to full range of motion, and I credit Mike with my recovery success. I am so thankful for the treatment I received at Athletico!

Fantastic experience: the staff was very sweet and lovely and they had personalized workouts for me to improve there or at home! they got me back to my sport without needing ibuprofen to get by at all. we talked in depth about what could be causing my complications and i improved rapidly once we had it pin pointed :) they care bunches about what you are going through and want you to improve as swiftly and smoothly as possible- 10/10 for sure

Fantastic experience: I loved the PT I received from Athletico Brentwood location. Emily was always on-point with encouragement & pushed me when I needed it. Her assessment & evaluation was integral in my recovery. We bonded very quickly as she is very charismatic! I will miss her! The staff greeted everyone by name upon arrival & were always friendly & helpful to each other when needed. Any anxieties were quickly put to rest. Great place!

Fantastic experience: The staff and therapist (Emily) was very friendly and professional. The facility location was convenient and always appeared clean. Emily was clear in explaining therapy goals and went the extra mile to address any questions I had. I was impressed with the way, when working with more than one client she would introduce us to one another that facilitated conversation and a sense of community.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with Athletico. Had the good fortune of being given the Physical Therapist Emily Thibon. She is terrific. Not only excellent at her job, great personality and sense of humor. The manager Mike deserves a lot of credit for establishing such a great culture. Every person in the place is friendly, from the moment you walk in the door, through all your rehab exercises. If you are in need of rehab services, would highly recommend this wonderful group of people.

Fantastic experience: Maggie has been great to work with under her care these past 5.5 months after working with Kim for 1.5 months. Both ladies were wonderful giving me the encouragement, confidence, and tools I need for successful recovery from knee surgery. They are amazingly knowledgeable physical therapists that I am truly grateful to have met. I feel I've gained friends. After 7 months of PT and observation of everyone working at Athletico in Brentwood, I would certainly recommend coming here for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about this Athletico location and their staff from the office staff to aides/techs and therapists! Kevin was my primary physical therapist that has helped me recover from a broken foot over the past few months. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and was great about explaining what we’re doing & why it will help in the healing process. I also worked with Emily and Dan a couple times each, and they were wonderful as well, especially for more manual exercises/therapy! The entire staff is extremely welcoming and clearly cares about their work & patients. They are also more than willing to work with you to find appointment times that fit your busy schedule. Thanks for all of your help, I really appreciate it!
