Fantastic experience: Best PT ever!!! They fixed problems I had had for years (even after seeing other PTs). They also taught me what to do to prevent recurrence. Can’t recommend enough!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for approximately 4 months after back surgery. Nick and his staff are wonderful. Especially my therapist Chris Patrick. Chris worked with me one on one to help me achieve my goal of walking without assistance. Chris is very knowledgeable and a great guy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing physical therapy. They treat you like family. I will always go here for any future physical therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: I was suffering from bppv from 4 weeks .Katherine PT, she did a fantastic job .she is very kind and ready to help . I did 2 sessions with her and I already got improvement .she also gave me some exercises to do at home .My symptoms are getting better and better . I must say thankyou to PT Katherine for her great work she is very professional. NICK and his team are doing excellent work. Thankyou again PTSMC

Fantastic experience: Really grateful to Michael and the whole team at PTSMC Shelton--they've been skilled, professional, encouraging, welcoming, and kind, and are already helping me feel a lot better. Scheduling is a breeze, and Michael really focuses on how I'm feeling and what's holding me back. My only regret is that I didn't come in sooner!

Negative experience: I was thinking about not placing this ad but I think it is the right thing to do in this life you learn that even if people seem good and kind they are the most dangerous I was in the process of a lawsuit I was referred to this place by my lawyer to take physical therapy I think If I went 17 times it was a lot and the sessions per day are 175 and at least let's exaggerate 250 per day which is a lot. They sent me an invoice for almost 10,000 dollars which they lowered it to 5000 which is too much and very exaggerated and lack of consideration With the client, I spoke with Nike, the boss, very well on the phone, not in person, and my lawyer called me and told me that they said to him I went to yell at his business and made a scandal in front of the clients, which is totally a lie and he knows it, I'm not that type of person. I am very educated I hope that no one else goes through this bad experience and is charged so much exaggerated money and on top of that lying about me

Fantastic experience: They listen to what you tell them and really seem to do what you need - no more, no less.

Fantastic experience: PTSMC provides a welcoming and supportive attitude to help their clients succeed in overcoming their injuries and feel better. The facility is light, clean and airy. They provide private therapy rooms and an open gym area. As someone who suffers from chronic pain I am so grateful for having found this facility. Nick and all of his staff are focused on helping their clients feel better !

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. When I first arrived, I was struggling to walk through the pain in my knee. After three weeks, I am now able to walk comfortably. Nick is extremely knowledgeable and motivating.

Fantastic experience: The guy who did the dry stimulation on my left leg and the dry stim on my right side face amazing!!!! I think nick and Chris are the contacts. Katie was also amazing to deal with at the front desk. She made me feel very comfortable My story I’ve had rt vertebral artery dissection with 2 brain stem strokes with a small stroke (Tia) the day before MANY symptoms both side effects I wish the rt eye double vision would go away and the head fuzziness would go away and I would talk normal again and my rt side facial paralysis would come back My left side Like it was stuck in snow for hours then put under hot water The falling asleep feelings and numbness would go away on my left side and my walking was not like a monster and the rubber band feeling on my rt knee,calf,and fort would go away my taste would come back and my deafness in rt ear would come back and my rt side would not feel so inhibiting ! It happened on august 13 2021 and feels like forever No known reason, spontaneous Left side variant born with it does not connect to the brain I’m now 46 Can you help I’ve had acupuncture, HBOT,3 natural paths, stemcell transplant in Florida (my own bone marrow) I am hoping for the best maybe a miracle Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: This was my first physical therapy experience and it was absolutely fantastic! Mike focused on listening to what was important to me and helped me reached my goal in a short time. He gave me a variety of exercises and tracked my progress. I am on my way to doing the things I enjoy again, and I could not be happier! I highly recommend Mike and the team. Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and work very well together.

Fantastic experience: I did NOT want to get PT for my arthritic hip but everyone told me I should so, ok ok I’m going already! And I’m SO glad I did. In just the first session, Mike worked wonders on my hip and I came away walking better and feeling better than I have in weeks! Now I’m looking forward to continued therapy and full recovery. This place is modern, clean, bright and cheerful. Every staff member I interacted with was professional and friendly. Highly recommend this Shelton facility.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. Made major progress in just 3 weeks. Chris was very supportive and encouraged me to challenge myself to get to the next level. I’m back on the tennis and Pickleball court 6 weeks after hip replacement surgery.

Fantastic experience: One of the best physical therapy centers in CT. Nicholas and staff are highly knowledgeable and professional. No matter what your PT needs are they will customize a program that works for you and spend the time with you one on one, they care about your well-being. The clinic is also well equipped, clean and pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Extremely personable staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. Constant vigilance while doing exercises, which is something that's lacked at other PT clinics I've been to. You know they are watching/helping you through the entire session. Would recommend to anyone in need of a PT, no questions asked.

Fantastic experience: Nick and his team are fantastic! Upbeat, kind, fun and they know their stuff. As painful as it was to start... I'm feeling better each visit. I hope I don't need them again, but if I do or anyone I know needs PT... this is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: First time going to this location. I used to go to the Orange location (which is also incredible) but this location works with my schedule better. Conveniently located off of route 8, plenty of parking but best of all is Nick! He is absolutely amazing! It took me around 15 years to go to physical therapy for a snow boarding related injury. I did not believe in it, but the pain was making it nearly impossible to get out of bed in the morning without holding my head and neck with both hands. I was also getting horrible headaches. Nick has worked with me on and off for about 5 years now and he is extremely dedicated and knowledgeable about many aspects of physical therapy. He loves what he does and he isn't happy unless you are getting better. It's amazing what life without physical pain feels like!

Fantastic experience: PTSMC has been the best PT experience I have ever had. And yes, I have unfortunately had several past experiences at other places. The staff is personable, encouraging, and informative. I have learned so much about my injury and how to help myself to recover. This is an inspirational group that helps with your physical and mental well-being.

Fantastic experience: Nick is the absolute best. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and takes the time to explain things in detail to you. Each session, he explains the science behind the symptoms I have been experiencing and also explains exactly what the exercises we do will help with and how. It is definitely reassuring having this explained to me. While I am not better yet, I have made great progress so far and that is 100% because of Nick. I could not have asked for a better physical therapist

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nick Almonte did an AMAZING job on me today. He worked on my elbows with dry needling and on my back. He was very thorough, and gave me a variety of exercises, and a link to videos to show me how to do them. He was extremely knowledgeable, and a great physical therapist. I would definitely refer him highly. 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: As a patient of PTSMC I genuinely feel cared for here. I've been a patient at CT Orthopedic down the street and I didn't feel valued or cared for there and almost lost sight of why PT is important. The difference is night and day! Everyone at PTSMC has been great; Chris, my PT, is especially exceptional! He checks in, he guides, he confirms. It's excellent. He's even helping me regain more motion in my foot for which I did PT at CT Ortho post surgery where they consistently dropped the ball - I caution you to visit CT Ortho on Bridgeport Ave. With Chris I've gained almost full range of motion back from a broken shoulder and it's been just about a month or two here at PTSMC I will be recommending the office to everyone I know that is in need of PT. Thank you for everything you do!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a physical therapy place, look no further than PTSMC in Shelton. I came here twice a week for about 5 months (November 2021-March 2022) for a knee injury. Nick and all of the other staff here (Kevin, Ken, and Dominique) are absolutely amazing. They are extremely friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. I started my PT journey worried that I wouldn’t feel like my normal self again, but after my first session Nick had put my mind at ease and after a few months I now feel fantastic again. Thanks to Nick and the entire team at PTSMC Shelton! You all are the best!

Fantastic experience: Nick and his staff are incredible! They are eager and willing to help anyway they can. I have had negative experiences with PT prior to coming here, but my time here has been amazing. They all genuinely want to help you be pain free and heal, and are extremely knowledgeable in how to get you to your goals. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
