Fantastic experience: Just walked in today and I'm so glad I did. I got an excellent massage from Jessica. Just the right amount of pressure and a thorough, delightful massage packed into 15 minutes (there are many different time options) along with useful information about areas of tension afterward. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I went to The Backrub weekly for a year following a car accident. It was wonderful to have a place close to home that I could go to exercise self-care. If you have the opportunity, definitely go! The people there are great - you can be chatty or completely pass out during your massage. It's a very healing atmosphere.

So glad to have the Backrub in the village!

Fantastic experience: The bf and I both got wonderful massages here for his birthday - but we will be return customers! It felt so great to have bodywork done for the first time in over two years, boy did we need it. I expressed to them prior to our visit that I was an at-risk individual when it comes to Covid-19 and was walked through their practices. I might have "stuck out" in my mask but no one made me feel weird about it, they were accommodating when it came to my concerns as an at-risk individual, and we both had a really nice experience. Absolutely coming back!

Positive experience: I love this place! The ambiance is calm and relaxing and friendly. I like that it's clothes-on - I feel less vulnerable, and it makes the time I take out of my day shorter. They have a broad selection of quality therapists who work in a variety of types of body work. My one complaint is that, though online scheduling is convenient, there are some bugs, including when I want to schedule massages for myself and a friend for the same time. Overall I highly recommend this beautiful little locally- and woman-owned small business!

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the shop wore maskes, everything was clean and sanitized between clients. Super nice, quiet relaxing atmosphere. Chris hit all the spots that were giving me problems. Could feel the increased bloodflow right away. Reasonable price and was able to schedule and go in on the same day. Definitely will come back again. Perfect little hole in the wall, and really nice backrubs.

Fantastic experience: I live within the area and have walked by the studio so many times but never quite understood what it had to offer - see I typically get massages with the oil/creams, closed off room, etc. I had the pleasure of letting Luca do bodywork on me yesterday...they are phenomenal! I am 38 weeks pregnant and needless to say, Luca helped me tremendously with the aches and pains pregnancy can bring along (in just 30 minutes) not to mention helped me to relax for the first time in a long time. I am sure all practitioners there are great but having Luca's bodywork done has me hooked and I would recommend any and all to book with them - I know I will make it a habit to get work there more often as scheduling and pricing are very reasonable and convenient. Thanks again Luca, you really know your craft!

Fantastic experience: Years ago, I was a walk-in a couple of times. I had great experiences then. I recently moved back to the area and have seen Aaem 3 or 4 times. The massages were amazing as far as the mechanics and knowing and understanding the body very well! I also appreciate good Shiatsu work! However, what really stood out, was the true empathic care for me. It feels good to be authenticly cared for, and that was my experience at this studio and with Aaem. Thank you! The whole studio is very accommodating and my experiences have all been excellent!!! I can also get in within a couple of hours of a phone call, which is a selfish enjoyment. They honestly deserve to be booked out for days! Give them a try! Y 'all are great! Thank you! ❤️

The therapists are well taken care of, so this draws in a lot of superior talent that sticks around! The Back Rub genuinely cares about it’s clientele and can get you on a healing path you can stay on. Massage durations range from 10 minutes to 2 hours. Fully clothed massage *does not* mean less quality, in fact, many prefer it for it’s many benefits. Check it out or you are missing out!

Fantastic experience: Suffering from chronic migraines, its not always easy to find a massage place THAT DAY. Chris, with his magic hands in tandem with deep tissue massage and shiatsu worked! The recovery time after any massage is normally a day. Drink water and then you'll be fit as a fiddle.
