Fantastic experience: Select physical therapy has been there for me all the way during my healing process. I am recovering from an injury but im so thankful for this clinic. Tamanna, is my primary physical therapist, she has an amazing team at this location. Between her and her assistants I have been regaining motion and strength that I have previously lost due to my injury. I would highly recommend this location if you want to recieve high quality care with physicians who treat you with respect. Fantastic experience: I came in after 5 months of wrist pain from a snowboarding accident. Tamanna was amazing - she created various workout routines and pushed me each time, introducing new exercises as she noticed my strength and mobility improving. After a little less than 2 months, I'm back to full time tennis! Tamanna explained each exercise as well as the reasoning for adding them, and answered all questions I had with clarity. She even provided guidance on how to approach recovery post-discharge. I highly recommend Tammana and the team for anyone who needs physical therapy!

Fantastic experience: I started my physical therapy treatment in December 2022 and I was just discharged at the time of this review May 2023. I was being treated for lower back and leg pain due to a pinched nerve in my lumbar spine that caused numbing and tingling down my left leg. During my time at Select Physical Therapy (Costa Mesa location), the team at Select, especially my Dr., Dr. Tamana, and I have worked in and out of the office to overcome this pain that has been affecting since Summer of 2022. I have a complicated medical history with scoliosis as I have had correctional surgery. But Dr. Tamana made sure that my treatment plan would accommodate for that and help strengthen the surrounding area to support low back (core, leg, and low back exercises). Lo and behold, I walked out of the office today with substantially less pain and properly equipped to continue to reach my goal of a painless and active life again. Thank you to Dr. Tamana and the rest of the Select Physical Therapy Costa Mesa team for the hard work they do to care of us their patients! I would not hesitate to recommend Select PT to anyone who is in need of physical therapy!

Fantastic experience: Now, after my 6th visit, I can see that my time at Select Therapy (Nutmeg Place, Costa Mesa location) has changed the way I move in the world. Daniel Bever (DPT) and his colleagues, Tamanna Shaikh-Mahadik (PT, MS) and Cheyenne are kind and caring. Their diagnosis and treatment are spot on, and using gentle, hands-on guidance and techniques born from experience, have allowed my body to heal and change for the better. I am so glad I am their patient. Any review about Select Therapy could also not be written without a shout out to Jessica, the front-of-house representative who greets visitors warmly with a smile and provides the admin skills that allows the clinic to run like clockwork. If I had a business again, I would like it to represent the qualities of Select Therapy, to show clients the compassion and caring they deserve.

Fantastic experience: The staff was incredibly welcoming and charismatic! I had Daniel who pushed me hard as I worked through my injury. By my last session my pain was gone and my body is so much stronger! The whole team knows exactly what they’re talking about and give amazing advice. I definitely recommend!

I have been doing this exercise every day like she prescribed, and I am getting fantastic results. She was so thorough she was able to pinpoint my pain and create a special tailored therapy

Fantastic experience: The team at this office is wonderful. Stacey was very knowledgeable and attentive to my shoulder pain. She created a plan for me to improve my arm/shoulder movement. At the beginning I could barely lift my arm. Now I have movement again. Im still working on extending my reach behind my back but that is to be expected. They are vested in helping you get better. I am thankful for Stacey and the Costa Mesa team. They are all professional, friendly and patient.

Fantastic experience: My therapist, Shelly, is excellent. She's very patient, takes time with me, and gives good information about the treatment plan. Her follow-up is excellent, and I was able to call the next day to refresh my memory about the home exercises I am to do. The facility is very clean, and staff is pleasant and efficient.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience working with Daniel, Brandon, and Keyanna. Daniel put together the perfect plan to fix my hip flexor and I was up and (slowly) running within a month. All are pleasant to work with and a joy to see bright and early at each appointment. Couldn’t recommend more.

Fantastic experience: My 1st post-surgical PT experience at Select-Physical Therapy, but my 3rd stint. Daniel, Jessica and the rest of the crew are running a top notch PT operation. Expect to work hard and follow a program based on established research protocols. I received the referral from Newport Orthopedic Institute, and they are wise to utilize Select PT - Costa Mesa. I cut my 1-yr Rotator Cuff and Bicep Tenodesis rehab projection down to 6 months, in large part to Daniel and his innovative techniques!

Fantastic experience: From the front desk...and door, Select PT encourages doingthe work needed to strengthen my body and balance. The exercises progress at patient interals, building strength and balance. It is Costa Mesa friendly! I like that it is nearby and easy to enter and exit, walking or driving.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time having physical therapy, and I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff was extremely friendly and informative. They gave me stretches to do, set me up with a routine, and they were able to schedule my next five visits in a very quick timeframe. I'm eager to see how I'm feeling after all of my visits, but so far, they have been able to spot some trouble areas for me and give me tips on proper stretches for my sciatica/piriformis.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Select Physical Therapy. I worked with Daniel and Stacy. I really appreciated how they both carefully listened to how my injury was causing pain/discomfort and created a detailed program tailored to my needs. As I progressively grew stronger, they altered my program as well. Both Daniel and Stacy are very knowledgeable and combined with their support and creativity, they are able to create programs that really target your specific injury. In addition, Brandon helped make sure I was using good form and doing my exercises correctly. Brandon is knowledgeable, encouraging, and always available to answer any questions I had about my exercises. They have a great team at Select Physical!

Fantastic experience: This week I graduated from PT at Select Physical Therapy after having a total knee replacement in mid-August. Today, I feel so much stronger and confident about navigating everyday life. After 4 weeks of PT, I can do everything I was ever able to do functionally. The trainers at Select are fantastic. Daniel, Christian, and Amanda are all very knowledgable in kinesiology and are able to prescribe the exercises you need in order to get to the quickest recovery possible. When I felt like an exercise was too hard, they did it with me. So motivating! I can't say enough good things about this crew. I highly recommend Select Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I'm very pleased with the treatment and care I have received to date at Select Physical Therapy. Howard and his team are professional and caring which is ideal for someone rehabbing from surgery or injury. They have shown that they have the knowledge and ability to get me back to my active life as quickly as can be done. But one thing that goes along with that is I've got to do the work, they can't do it for me. I'm all in!
