Mike has 30+ years of experience in the physical therapy/sports medicine field. After completing his master’s degree in Athletic training at University of Arizona, he completed his master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the University of the Pacific. He spent many years working with the Oakland Athletics’ minor league affiliate, Stockton Ports, and currently serves as team Physical Therapist for the Calgary Flames AHL hockey team, the Stockton Heat. Mike enjoys working with all populations, and has a long history of working with many high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. He enjoys many sports and outdoor activities, as well as spending time with his wife and two grown children.

Dr. Nicole Palermo received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA c/o 2014 and her Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology-Exercise Science from CSU Long Beach c/o 2009. She has participated in soccer, track and field, and has competed locally in CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting. She has experience treating high-level strength athletes, martial artists, dancers, and runners and she is an experienced strength and conditioning coach.

She has always enjoyed working with others to help them understand the importance of movement and self-care. She believes that you can be an athlete at any age and her mission as a Physical Therapist is to educate her clients, promote independence through the rehab process and return patients to any and all recreational activities of their choice.

I had a very tough recovery from a difficult knee surgery. 4 weeks after surgery I was stiff and still struggling with pain. After being on crutches 4months, I wanted nothing more to walk on my own. Dr Palermo was very welcoming and reassuring I would return to walk normal again. With a lot of ups and a couple downs I got back on my feet thanks to the whole team at Pacific rehab. Thank you all for being so encouraging along my journey! I would recommend this place to anyone.

If you need a massage to help with aches or injuries book an apt with Jose. He is dedicated to what he does and pays attention to detail. He is professional and personable, go ahead and book that massage, you won’t regret it. Staff here are friendly as well and the facility is always clean. I’ve come here for physical therapy in the past and they provide great physical therapy as well.

I love Pacific Rehab and all their staff! I went in to get physical therapy for my shoulder in 2022 and had no idea what to expect. Michele is amazing and worked with me to strengthen the muscles that I had no idea were so weak! The shoulder massages, cupping, and ice compression were icing on the cake and always made my shoulder felt so much better. I really appreciate the compassion and attention to detail that everyone here showed me in my journey to getting my shoulder back to "normal." Only by meeting the staff and having one appointment for my daughter that is a young stroke victim they are wonderful. My daughter was not having a good day but they handled everything perfect and were very patient . I’m very anxious to continue her care there with her therapy and therapist Michele. Thanks to direct access, we can see any patient without a referral from a doctor for an initial evaluation. If our therapists believe that physical therapy is a good option for your needs, we can work with you and your physician to obtain a prescription for continued care. If your diagnosis requires additional expertise, we can also refer you to a specialist to handle your care.

Please wear or bring comfortable athletic/workout clothing to change into. This includes shorts or sweatpants, a t-shirt and sneakers. Your attire should also allow easy access to your injured area for treatment by your physical therapist.

The frequency of your treatment will depend on your physician’s prescription and the plan of care developed by your physical therapist. Most patients require treatment two to three times per week. The duration of treatment will depend on your injury and personal progress. Your physical therapist will discuss this with you following your initial exam and subsequently as you progress.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice. However, we do understand than an occasional emergency or illness may arise, in which case you may have to cancel your appointment closer to your scheduled time.

We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Tricare and workers’ compensation plans. Before your initial visit, we will verify in and out of network benefits with your insurance company. The cost of therapy is determined by the benefits of your insurance plan, including the deductible and co-pay, or patient percentage. We are happy to check with your insurance company to determine the terms of your coverage. Payment for patient responsibility is due at the time of service.
